Mothers were like soft pillows for the daughters or sons to lean on in their roughest times. They loved, held on tight, sacrificed for their daughters or sons. They unconditionally cared for them like they were their flesh, their blood.

My mother was the complete opposite, it was like she had the biggest grudge on me because I sabotaged her work order back in Oregon so she came to California to take me away as her revenge.

"I'm going to be fine, princess, stop worrying," Levy comforted me as he held both of my hands, "so much has happened to you here and I don't want to risk your safety here, you'll always be my partner in crime," He kissed my nose after saying that and held me to his chest.

"I just don't want to leave you in the middle of our action journey," he laughed at my confession, "and besides, only three days are left, why can't I stay here and come back with you?"

"Babe, do you want my dick to be chopped off by the devil incarnation?" I giggled at his question, what he said was true, mom would have wasted no time in killing him if he objected on behalf of me.

"I want to stay with you, I don't want to leave," I complained.

"I know you do, Lia, but my world is too dangerous for you," I looked up at him as his hands rubbed my waist soothingly, "I promise when I come back, we will graduate and go to university," He assured me as he leaned down to give me a chaste kiss.

Our kiss was cut short as mom entered our room and announced that I will leave with her tomorrow morning. "I get it, mom, we will leave," I confirmed furiously at her as she gave me an arrogant smile and closed the door.

"It's okay, if you could handle a couple of shots, you can handle her," he winked at me confidently and I smiled up at him, "I want you to smile more often," he commented as his finger grazed my lips as my smile widened, "I can't wait to marry you and see that smile every day," He whispered in my ear as I blushed.

Our life plan was spread in front of us: graduate together and live with each other in the dorms of Pacific University, graduate again with each other and happily get engaged with each other and at the end, marry each other. That was our typical happily ever after plan but we still didn't know the unexpected twists of events.

He kissed the side of my face and trailed down to my neck as his arms tightened their hold on me and his muscles bulged out perfectly, I traced his jaw peacefully as his lips pressed softly against mine.

It was noon and we still laid on the bed, too lazy to move and too happy in each other's embrace.

"I will never get tired of this," He commented as his hands touched my bare back with a sated smile and his amber eyes lightened.

"Me too, I will miss you, please text me so I don't worry about you," I replied with tears in my eyes as my head laid on his chest and my body on top of his with our tangled bare legs.

He stroked my hair gently, "I will, Miss worry-pants," I laughed as a tear escaped my face and onto his chest. "Hey, no crying, it's only for three days baby," He soothed me as he trailed his fingers up and down my back.

"So much can happen in three days," I argued as I placed my head on my crossed arms over his chest. He looked into my eyes with swollen lips.

"Babe, you can predict the future," he said as he faked a horrified expression and I laughed at his silliness, he smiled as he gave me another small kiss.

"School will be boring without you," I groaned and he smirked.

"I know right," He replied, boastful that I admitted that. I gave him a playful slap on his neck and squealed when he turned us around as he hovered over me.

"I admit that I will miss my partner in crime," he sighed out as his face neared mine, "I will also miss my bed buddy," He winked and I guffawed in laughter as his hands tickled my sides.

"I will miss you too, my partner in crime." I smiled when I admitted back.

We decided to dress up after taking a steamy shower together to go to lunch due to my heavy case of a grumbling stomach.

With my black shorts and red Coca-Cola shirt and my black boots with a tight ponytail, I was ready to go and smiled as Levy came out in a tight white polo shirt with black jeans and his Tommy Hilfiger boots. We went down with satisfying smiles until both of our faces were completely wiped off at the sight in front of our faces the moment we entered the lunch arena in the hotel.

"You have got to be kidding me," We equally said under our breaths as the sight made us lose our sanity.

My mom was lip-locking with his dad in an arena filled with people. I was disgusted to even call her my mom, what she did was inexcusable to dad if he found out about their secret affair as well as his dad was going to get into a big fight with Mrs. Christina Martin, she was a very strong woman.

What made our eyes wide was an angry daisy-haired woman striding into the arena with full brutality and I realized that it was Levy's mom in a short white dress along with the pissed-off scowl, she just had to come at the right moment.

Her heels clicked on the ground as her eyes scanned the room until they stopped at my mom and Mr. Clay in a make-out.
