Annabeth

Annabeth had finished her swordfighting lesson when she saw a very pissed-off Will Solace with a bandaged nose stomping towards her, with the skinny new girl following him, arms crossed.

Oh boy... Annabeth thought to herself.

Will came up to her. "Annabeth, can you please show the new girl around?"

"I have a name, you know!" Sierra spat.

Will looked like he wanted to strangle Sierra, so Annabeth stepped in. "I'll show her, Will."

"Thank you." Will relaxed. Then he glared at Sierra. "I have no patience for her."

Sierra stuck her tongue out at him.

"Come on, Sierra."

Annabeth dragged her away from Will.

"What were you thinking, mouthing off to Will?" She hissed to Sierra.

"That i wasn't gonna let that stuck up jerk tell me what to do." Sierra answered.

"Will's not that bad." Annabeth reasoned. "I think he's just in a bad mood."

"I suppose the broken nose i gave him had somthing to do with it." Sierra muttered.

"That was you?" Annabeth laughed.

"It was his fault!" Sierra hissed. "He startled me!"

"It doesn't matter." Annabeth told her. "Let me show you around camp."

Annabeth showed Sierra the cabins of the gods and told her about Olympus and how monsters disintegrate and go to tartarus, but eventually return to the mortal world and how the mist conseals monsters and demigods from mortals.

Sierra was silent.

Then she finally spoke. "You've been in Tartarus, haven't you?"

Annabeth staggered. "How- how did you-"
"You talked about Tartarus with distaste, as if you knew it firsthand. But I'm guessing that only 3 people have actually been there. I know Nico was captured in there, that memory was too important to miss out on. And you fell in with someone else, I'm guessing- Percy?"

Annabeth raised an eyebrow. "You're even smarter than you look."

"Gee, thanks." Sierra said sarcastically.

Annabeth sighed. "I didn't mean it like that. But that's pretty much exactly what happened about 2 months ago."

"What's in there?" Sierra pointed to the weapon shack.

"Oh, that reminds me!" Annabeth mentally face palmed herself. "We need to get you a weapon!"

"Oh." Sierra followed Annabeth into the shack.

The shack was stocked with celestial bronze weapons.

"Wow." Sierra said, amazed. "There's a lot of weapons in here..."

"So, lets find the right one for you, shall we?"
