Sierra

The shack wasn't that big, but it had at least 100 weapons inside.

Annabeth handed Sierra a sword like Percy's, with a sort of leaf shape.

"Sorry, it just doesn't feel right." Sierra held the sword awkwardly.

"It's ok." Annabeth acknowledged. "How about a knife? I used to have one."

"What happened to it?" Sierra felt a bit cold, all of a sudden.

"I'm not sure." Annabeth shrugged. "I lost it." There was sadness in her tone.

Sierra had a feeling that Annabeth's knife was the same one in her backpack. Her blood turned to ice. "That-um, that sucks."

"It does." Annabeth said sadly.

Sierra didn't know if she could hide how uneasy she felt. "Um, I'll be right back. Stay here."

She saw confusion spark in Annabeth's eyes, then she ran to her cabin. She got her backpack and opened it. She pulled out the bronze knife she had found at one of the shelters in the wild. Sierra had covered it with leaves to mask the glow.

When she got back to the shack, Annabeth was waiting for her.

"Sierra, what's going on?" Annabeth asked, baffled.

"I, um, i think this is yours." Sierra held out the leaf-covered knife.

Annabeth froze. She hesitantly grabbed the hilt of the knife and brushed away the leaves. A tear trickled down her cheek.

"Could it be?" She whispered. "Where did you find it?"

"In a shelter in the woods." Sierra told her. "I don't exactly know where."

"It doesn't matter." Annabeth said. "Gods, Sierra... Thank you."

"Of course, Annabeth." She smiled.

"My friend, Luke, gave this knife to me when i was 7." Memories flooded in Annabeth's eyes. She shook her head. "Anyway, let's find you a good weapon."

Sierra nodded. "I don't think a knife would work for me either."

Annabeth was a bit puzzled. Then she saw something. "How about a gun? Don't worry, it only uses Celestial Bronze bullets."

Sierra tried picking up the big gun, but it was too large. "Can i fight with something i can't even hold?" Sierra grunted.

"Nope." Annabeth agreed. "If that gun doesn't work for you, i doubt the crossbows will either..." She looked at Sierra. "Well, you're a real head-scratcher. What kind of weapon would you be comfortable with?"

Sierra pondered this. "Well, I'm pretty good at boxing, and martial arts. As you could probably tell by Will's nose, I'm a pretty good puncher."

Annabeth laughed. "Point taken."

Annabeth's eyes suddenly flashed with opportunity. "You know, i think i have just the thing for you."
