Sumaya

After Annabeth's tour, it was time for dinner. She took Sumaya and Jasmine to a pavilion.

"I'll get you two your weapons tomorrow." Annabeth promised. "For now, dinner."

Sumaya's mouth watered at the smell of barbeque. Jasmine looked just as famished.

"Is that..." Jasmine paused. "Is that BBQ?!"

"Yes it is." Annabeth nodded as they reached the pavilion.

She led them towards a table with a bunch of people and approached two boys who were also identical twins.

"Connor, Travis, meet Sumaya and Jasmine." Annabeth introduced them.

"Hi." Sumaya greeted them cheerfully, while Jasmine looked as if she might start hissing at the boys.

"Hello." Travis said.

"What happened to your eye?" Connor asked. Travis nudged him and gave him a hard look.

Jasmine faked a smile. "No, its...its fine." She gritted her teeth as she said it. "Look." Sumaya made herself avert her eyes away from Jasmine taking off her eye patch. But she saw enough to see the boys cringe.

"Gross. You should get that checked out!" Sumaya glared at Connor for his rude reply.

This time Jasmine didn't bother smiling. "I did." Her teeth were gritted again. "It's fine."

"Let's eat something." Sumaya quickly suggested. Before Jaz actually does hiss.

"Sounds good." Jasmine agreed.

The sisters sat down and began eating.

Travis raised an eyebrow. "So, Connor, what's going on between you and Miranda?" His expression was teasing.

Connor's face went red. "She's, um, she's really nice. We're friends."

"Just friends?" Travis grinned.

"Do i question you dating Katie?" Connor looked annoyed and embarrassed.

"Well, no. But-"

"Just please stay out of it..." Connor said.

"Ok, then!" Travis was still grinning.

Sumaya ate the delicious food with delight. It was amazing. (A/n or amaZHANG XD)

After the dinner, Sumaya and Jasmine and the other campers made their way to the campfire. Sierra was already there, staring at the fire with a haunted look in her eyes. Jasmine wandered off in the swarm of campers while Sumaya headed towards Sierra.

"Are you okay?" Sumaya asked, concerned about Sierra.

"No."

"Why?"

Sierra looked at her strangely. "You do know i am a daughter of Apollo?"

"I do now."

"I have the power to see the future." Sierra explained. "And I saw something horrible."

"What was it?" Sumaya asked quietly.

Sierra looked back at the fire and the haunted look returned. "Some things are too terrible for words to be described."

Sumaya decided to stay silent.

After having some s'mores, the campers were talking and socializing when a collective gasp went around.

Both Sumaya and Jasmine stood up against their will. Sumaya saw that they were both surrounded by an aura of blue energy. Sumaya looked up and saw that an image of a fiery torch hovered above both sister's heads. Suddenly, the torches both flew up and joined crossed each other and formed an "X".

"Hecate." Sierra said with absolute certainty. "Your mother is Hecate."
