A storm was raging high

Bursting through the night

Howling winds

Pouring rain.

A storm, coming for us.

We hid, in our homes

We scooted from the door

Was the storm 

Here for us, the Esamer?

To take the light away from us?

And as the wind howled

And rain raged

Darkness came

And took us all

And we sat, alone in the night.

Until a light came to the village

A ray of hope

Hidden in a lantern

The wild ones had come.

The wild ones were here.

And the Wind-singers calmed the wind

And the Earth-bearers gave us our home

And the Water-dancers calmed the rain

And the Fire-tenders gave us our light.

Our home, back to us.
