Jack and the girls had finally arrived at the bustling city . It was huge and it was filled with creatures that the girls had never seen before. There was a man with the body a of a human but the head and torso of a fish. "Hello little girls", he said in a jolly tone. "You're just in time for the festival." Ashi cocked her head and have the fish man a questionable look. "Festival?" "Ah Yes. The Snow Festival. It is time where the people of this city gather in the center to share stories of the their travels and to just have a good time and eat delicious food. I've been once but this will be my second."

The girls were actually excited to participate in the festivities. They begged Jack could they take part, after so pleading and climbing all over him he finally agreed. "Thank you Samurai!" Jack smiles at the girls as he led them around the fair, he forgot what it felt like to have fun, he'd been fighting and trying to save others and himself that the feeling was almost foreign to him.

He soon found himself on one of the rides with the girls, laughing like a mad man, he made a mental note that he'd come back with the girls next time there was a festival. Hours had past, he and the girls were on the Ferris wheel eating funnel cake and drinking hot apple cider. The girls were either fighting over which part of the fair was their favorite or looking out the window, gazing over the city.

Ari, however, looked right the Jack with her big dark eyes. Jack was slightly weirded out by her constant staring. Ari giggled before hopping from her seat to his and rested her head on his arm.

Jack stiffened slightly but relaxed when he saw her smile. At that moment he felt something he hadn't felt in a very long time. Love. He wrapped his arm around her pulled her closer. The other six saw this and jumped onto him,he repeated the action and related. "Look!" Ashi jumped up from her seat and ran to the window. Small white droplets fell from the clouds and gracefully floated down, Aki put her hand out the window to catch one, when it touched her hand she retracted saying it was cold.

"Yes. It's called snow. It's when the water in the clouds becomes so cold they turn into ice and fall to earth. It also happened when it gets colder outside, speaking of which, put these on." Jack pulled out seven little scarves and hats for the children. They were bundled up from head to toe in warm clothing.

They smiled at jack again and cuddle close to him. He smiled and leaned back not caring about the outside world. He opened his eyes and looked to the right and his eyes widened in fear. He couldn't believe what he was seeing. Why now? Why here? Why at all?
