Third person pov
The camera fades in on the darkened sky's above a city. We then see a portal open and our winged hero emerge from it along with his feathery friend. Our hero is currently wearing his brown "flaming cross" bomber jacket with a white tee-shirt underneath, black denim jeans, and boots the same color as his bomber. His wings, Halo, glowing eyes are visible as he fly's through the semi-cloudy night sky. And shade can be seen flying right beside him

Y/n's POV

When we had exited the portal shade and I where flying through the night sky. I could not help but smile I was starting my new life at this very moment With shade right here beside me. Time past and we descended upon a city I decided to sit on top of a building to take in my new surroundings. Shade than perched on its ledge and spoke.

Shade: So where are we?

Y/n: Hold on *pulls out smart phone*Gimme me a minute.

As I looked at the screen I checked a global map and found our location.

Y/n: we are currently in a city called Metropolis.

I look at shade and he looks like he's thinking about something quite deeply. He then chuckles and speaks in a happy tone.

Shade:I wonder what our future holds for us my holy brother.

Y/n: me to my feathery friend.

We laughed at eachother and decided to take a birds eye view of the city that we decided to call our new home. We were flying for what seemed like an hour taking in the beautiful looking city.  then not even a minute latter we here police sirens and decide to check it out.

Third person pov

We then see Y/n and shade stand on top of a building across from a building that says "metropolis City bank" several police cruisers are parked in the street below with there lights flashing. Then a gunshot rings through the air and a man in a mask with an AK-47 step out the front door and starts to yell.

Masked man: ANY OF YOU PIGS TAKE A SINGLE STEP INSIDE THIS BANK WE START KILLING HOSTAGES!!!

Y/n frowns at the man's words and sighs.

Y/n: no matter what....

Shade then looks at is friend

Y/n: there will always be people like these.

The cops are  trying there best to contain the situation.  the camera then focused on a girl that looks like a reporter

Reporter: if I could only get a clear picture that will surely get me that internship.

Then she looks across the street from the bank on top of a structure she sees an individual in the shadows. Just watching.

Reporter:...?

The camera then fades and focuses on Y/n and shade.

Shade: So....  We are stopping this right.

Y/n's pov

With that I looked at him and smiled.

Y/n: shade go see how many gunmen are in there.  And don't. Get. Caught.

Shade then chuckled at that state met and flew in the air.

Shade: I never get caught.

And after that he melted into the shadows and disappears.

I smiled and sat down and waited.

Shades pov

After I had disappeared I flew over to the skylight and looked in. Their was at least 5 guys in the main lobby 3 with Ak's, one with a 12 gauge, and the last had a scoped m14 he was on the second floor balcony aiming it at the front door.  The guy with the 12 gauge had corralled all the civilians in the space behind the tellers desks. 2 of the AK guys were patrolling the lobby. And I watched the last guy hold an elderly man at gunpoint he had grey hair and mustache with glasses his uniform name tag had S. Lee on it. I can only assume it's the bank manager.

I then flew back to Y/n and informed him on the situation.

Y/n: Thank you shade

Shade: What's the plan

He then smiled at me and I chucked.

Shade: OK then.

Third person pov

The cameras on the elderly man and as he tries to open the banks vault. But due to the pressure of the situation he forgot the code to the keypad.

Masked man: hurry up old man we don't have all night.

Bank m.: I'm trying don't hurt me please.

Masked man: what ever ju-

He was cut off mid sentence because he had just been frozen in ice. The elderly man was confused as to what was going on until he felt a gentle tap on his shoulder. He turned around to see a young man with strange colored wins, a weird Halo, and glowing purple eyes. He was wearing a hooded cloak and black denim jeans with brown combat boots.  While holding a bow.

Bank m.: thanks *sighs*

Y/n:sir are you ok

Bank m.: it's alright I'll live

Y/n: go to your office and hide I handle the rest.

Bank m.: You don't have to tell me twice. And be careful

Y/n:I will now hurry.

The elderly man gos off to hide. That's one man down 4 to go. Y/n makes his way to the second floor. He peaks around the corner and sees the man with the m14. He then stands against the corner and whistles the man get distracted and walks toward the corner Bad. Idea. Y/n grabs the man's gun and twists it out of his hands. it falls to the ground and y/n grabs his head and slams it into the wall and knocks him out.

Y/n in head: now I have the upper hand.

He then crouches behind the balcony rail and peaks over to see the 2 patrolling the lobby.

Y/n in head: tch to easy

He then conjures his bow and knocks two ice arrows he aims and lets fly resulting in two now frozen gun men.  He pumps his fist in the air.  Just then the man with the shotgun starts to panic  and runs into the lobby he looks his frozen accomplices and his panic just grows. Y/n stands on the railing knocks an ice arrow and aims.

Y/n: *whistles*

The man turns too y/n and he gets frozen by the arrow he's hit with. Y/n then smirks.

Reporters pov

While I was waiting outside I could not help but wonder as to who that was I saw on that building. Who was he,  why was he here, why was he watching the bank robbery from across the street. I was then snapped out of my thoughts by the front doors to the bank flying open.  as the people inside began to flood out and the police were asking some of them questions but then everyone's attention to the door to see the 5 that were robbing the place we're knock out and were placed on the ground by what appeared to be a boy with glowing eyes, red/black wings and......  A Halo. I could not believe what I was seeing a bank robbery was stopped single handedly by some sort of angel.

Y/n's pov

All eyes were on me. I had no idea what to say or do until an officer that looked to be in charge of things stepped up with a look of gratitude.

Cop: thank you for saving all those people and stopping these criminals.

Y/n:your very much welcome.  any way I gotta get going do you need-

Cop: no your fine you can go.

I extend my wings and flew off into the night.

Third person pov
We see y/n and shade sitting on top of a building y/n laying his head on his back pack.

Shade: ain't been one day and you have already made an impact on people.

Y/n: you know me shade I've always loved to help people.

Shade: that you have y/n.  that you have.

Y/n: I'm thinking about going to that school

Shade: Metropolis High?go for it you need to learn and make friends right.

Y/n: *Chuckles* yea...... well imma catch some z's g'night.

I made my wings and Halo vanish while my my eyes stopped glowing.

Shade:goodnight man

Y/n fell asleep with shade laying on his chest.

(Meanwhile back at the bank)
Third person pov

The police had left and so had most of the people that were held hostage. the camera then focused on a single man sitting on the steps to the entrance to the bank.

He looked as if he was pondering  something or rather someone.

???: hmm an actual angel.....  He looked very young and even more unique. but yet he new exactly how to handle the situation. One can only wonder what sort of magic he has at his disposal.

Just then a limousine pulled up the driver side window dropped down and the driver spoke.

Driver: are you OK sir?

???: better than OK *gets in limo* home please.

Driver: yes sir.

The limo began to drive off the man is now looking out his window watching various  structures of metropolis pass by.

Driver: so what happened sir I heard you were unfortunate victim of a bank robbery.

???: well I'm clearly OK thanks for worrying about my well being.

Driver: your very much welcome sir.

Then we see a mansion come into view.

Driver:We're nearly home sir.

???: Thank you.

??? Pov
While the driver was driving me home I a thought hit me. what is zee gonna think about this. We then pulled up to the mansion.

???:thank you for picking me up so late.

Driver: anytime mister Zatara

(time skip to the next morning)

Y/n's pov
I woke up on the roof me and shade were sleeping on.  we had slept surprisingly well and thank christ It didn't rain.  so I decided to get up the shift in my weight caused shade too shoot up.

Shade: what's happening *yawns*

Y/n: just getting up shade *stretches*

Shade: Okay then.

he hops off my chest and to the buildings ledge while stretching is wings. I stand up and sit by his side.

Y/n: you know last night was fun

Shade: for you of course it was I've known you for years. Your always the first to fight and last one standing.

Thinking about it he was right most angels are pacifist but I was not afraid to throw down I once knocked out 18 arch Angels at once using Cíbēi without even trying that hard. I loved a good fight. Almost as much as I cared for shade.  he's the best wing man and an even better friend.

Shade: so about this school. how are you going to enroll again?

Y/n: I'll worry about that when I come to it. Right now let's just enjoy this city.

Shade: OK then.

Third person pov

Y/n then stands on the ledge and pulls out headphones from his backpack he sets them on his head and plugs the Jack into his phone. He then selected one of his favorite songs and made his wings appear and he spreads them. And at last he looks at his buddy shade and gives a nod steps of the ledge into a free fall and hits play.

Y/n's pov

That felt really great my blood still rushing through my veins.
As I took off my headset I look at shade who had landed on my left shoulder with a smile. That'd when we heard someone slow clapping from behind us.

???: that was an astonishing display.

I turn around to see a tall man in a purple cape.

Y/n: why thanks Mr....... Umm

Mr. Zatara: oh pardon me let me introduce myself my name is Giovanni Zatara. And yours?

Y/n: its y/n. *points to shade* and shade.

Mr. Zatara: *notices shade* wow a Phoenix with black feathers.

I could not help but smile at the man's utter amazement at us. Then shade looks as if he just noticed something.

Shade:You have actual magic.

The man then looks shocked. But he just wipes it away with a chuckle.

Mr. Zatara: why yes I do my feathered friend and so does my daughter. But anyway  I came here to thank you for stopping that bank robbery. People were in danger and a lot of money could have been stolen including my own.

Y/n: it was nothing I did what had to be done.

Mr. Zatara: nonsense allow me yo repay you. Come to my mansion and stay for dinner.

Y/n:are you sure?

Mr. Zatara: yes it would be no trouble at all.  really I would be honored.  And bring shade as well.

Y/n:ummm

Shade just nods at me.

Y/n:OK then

(time skip)

I was warring a white short sleeve tee-shirt, blue jeans and high-tops. I had put away all my angelic free features. Shade was sitting on my shoulder and he said just one thing.

Shade: wow.

We were in the living room of his mansion and my I say it was marvelous.

As I sat down I could not help but admire his sense of decor. He then asked me to wait and that he had someone for me to meet. A few minutes later he had come down with a girl presumably his aforementioned daughter.

???: come on dad who is he already.

Mr. Zatara: sweetie your going to flip when when you meet him. And here he is. He entered the room with a girl.

Mr. Zatara: Y/n this my daughter Zee. Zee this is Y/n.

Third person

When zee looked at Y/n her face grew 16 shades of red and all she did was stare at him. She was then brought back to reality as he snaps his fingers in her face.

Y/n: are you OK.

He said with a look of concern.

Zee: I-im f-fine nice to meet you

Y/n: well that's great nice to meet you too.

He said with a smile that made her blush even more.

Shade:hi there I'm shade Y/n's best friend.

Zee then looks at shade and jaw drops at the fact that a Phoenix with black feathers just spoke to her.

Mr. Zatara: Well with that out of the way tell us about your self's.

Zee then shakes her head and smiles.

Zee: yes I would very much like to know about you.

(one looong explanation later)

Zee: so you were miserable in heaven and jesus gave you a one way ticket to our world.

Mr. Zatara: were you could make a life for your self with shade at your side.

Y/n: yeah that's...... Pretty much the gist of it.

Zee's father then looks at you and then his daughter and gets an idea.

Mr. Zatara: you said you wanted to go to MH right.

Y/n: yes

Mr. Zatara: and that you don't have a place to stay right.

Y/n:....Yes

Mr. Zatara: Then why don't you stay here and I enroll you.

Zee then smiled wide with a slight blush.

Zee: that's a great idea dad.

Y/n:Are you sure me and shade aren't  imposing.

Mr. Zatara: I'm absolutely sure.

Y/n then looks and shade and he nods.

Y/n: OK then I accept

Mr. Zatara: OK then your new room is upstairs down the hall and to the right.

(Time skip to the end of the days  in your new room)

I was laying on my bed in my new room in my purple silk pajamas while In a white sleeveless tee.

Shade: so you start tomorrow

Y/n: yes I do and I'm glad I'll be going with zee.

Shade: you like her?

Y/n: lil bit.

Shade then chuckles.

Shade: Alright then good night

Y/n: night
