Hiding in the shadow of a large vase, a dragon pulled a small scroll from the pouch she had slung over her neck. She wiped the blood from one of her talons as she read the scroll over again before tucking it back into the bag. Hm, looks like the next target is in the Rainforest kingdom, hiding from us are you Tiger? Suddenly, she heard voices. "Hey, did you see something behind that vase?" There was a pause, then a second voice, sounding nervous, "I-I think so. Let's go check it out." Her eyes widened as she heard the two voices coming closer. She put a claw on her bag, just in case. It contained normal things that Sandwings and other dragons usually carried around in the desert; A container of water, food, coins, the antidote to Sandwing poison, maybe even a cape, if you were rich enough. But there were also things in there that usually only someone like her would carry around; Daggers, shap disks, poison, armor, dragon flame cactus. But see, all of those weapons were for the Sandwing's job. No one else knew about it of course, except her boss. Sunray tried to judge how far away the dragons were from her, tapping one of her claws on her other talon. She couldn't be caught like this. She pulled her hood up, it was black with a small silver diamond printed on the side of it. She was really only supposed to wear it when she was walking around in case she got caught so they wouldn't see her face, but Sunray liked wearing it even when she wasn't on the job. She waited until the dragons were just beside her, then she jumped out of the darkness. Must be a surprise, huh? She thought with a small internal smile. Usually Sandwings weren't very good hiders in the dark, given their bright yellow or tan scales, but Sunray was great at it, not only because of her black cape and hood. Her boss had noticed her unusual talent during training and pointed it out to her. Sunray tried to judge how far away the dragons were from, tapping one of her claws on another talon. She quickly took out one of her throwing stars and grabbed one of the dragons, slicing it across their neck. She then grabbed the other one and he screamed, but not for very long. Sunray glanced down at the two bodies and picked them up, dropping them behind the large vases and hiding them. Sunray looked around it to confirm her work, then turned around and slipped into the dark shadows of the alleyway.
