~+Red City: Hotel: Morning+~

"Tord are you sure you can handle the kids for today?"

"We'll be fine Tom, I promise."

Tord leans close to his partner and kisses him on the lips. He pulls back to show him a soft smile, "Plus I get to have some father bonding time with them."

The brunet chuckles making the other leader's heart melt at the sound. "Alright Commie, just try not to spoil them too much."

"I hear you Witness." Tord receives a kiss from his husband one more time before he turns to leave for the elevator to go down the hotel.

The fearsome leader waves goodbye until Tom's out of site, which he then closes the door and leans back with a smirk.

"I'm so spoiling them."

This is his first time with their kids alone, of course he's gonna go all out on them. He pushes himself off the door and walks into the large, fancy, not to mentions very expensive hotel room. They were basically in the penthouse, top floor. On top of it all, he bought the place for next time use if he wants to bring his family here again.

He passed the kitchen and living room to head up the stairs to head for the children's room. Tord hums happily as he makes it to their door ready to start the day.

Tord knocks a couple of times to get their attention. "Kids? Can I come in?"

"Door's open Father."

The older man opens the door to find only his eldest son awake, sitting up right on his space on the large king size bed. By his side, all curled up next to him is Tika still sleeping just like her other brother hugging around her waist on the opposite side of her.

The three Lawson siblings didn't mind sharing such a large bed since they use to do it a lot when she had lived in the Red Army Base after a few months. The only awkwardness now was Torm and Tomi's current avoidance of each other which is why Tika's sleeping between them. It would usually be Torm, Tomi, and then Tika in that order.

"Morning Torm, your siblings are still alseep?"

Torm nods his head, "Yeah, I woke up early today because I wanted to watch the sunrise on the balcony." He was hoping his little brother would wake up at the same time, but the little demon hadn't woken up to watch it with him. So he left Tomi to sleep while he stayed awake reading a book he found on the nightstand.

"Since you're already awake, want to help me cook breakfast?" Tord grins as he invites his son to cook with him.

"I didn't know you cook." Torm said as he sets the book back on the nightstand. He slowly gets off the bed to walk over to his father in his black pjs.

Tord rolls his eyes as he leads his son down to the kitchen after closing the door slightly, "There's a lot you don't know about me Torm. But that's what this day is for anyways."

Torm hums in acknowledgment as they walk down the steps. He talks in the crow of the Red City through the large windows of the living room. One of the window panels would slide open to make entrance to the balcony like he had seen the night before when they made it to the hotel. The couches were the best, really comfy and good for holding family night movies on the large Plasma Tv.

The kitchen was actually pretty open too since they could literally walk into the room from the living room.

"What are we making for breakfast?"

"Pancakes and bacon! Lots of bacon!" Tord says as he starts rummaging through the fridge for the ingredients. "Do you want anything in you pancakes?"

"Strawberries please," Torm responds as he stands a little bit behind his father. "Tika would want chocolate chips in hers while Tomi would love blueberries in his pancakes."

They eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner together all the time. Torm remembers his brother and sister's likes and dislikes either way if he wanted to or not.

Tord passed the ingredients to his son as he carefully sets them down on the counter table. Once that's done, Torm grabbed the pans, one for the bacon, the other for pancakes,

"I'll cut the fruit."

"Be my guest." Tord says as he starts opening a pack of uncooked bacon. He sets the bacon pan on the stove and lights it up, outing a little oil in to let his bacon sizzle in.

The two of them contined to prep breakfast with some light conversation here and there. Then Torm gets a great idea in father's opinion. Bacon pancakes, yes, Tord couldn't deny how good that sounded. It was then that Torm knew his father actually had a big love for bacon which made him smile.

While they cooked, the smell of pancakes and bacon wafted up stairs and through the open crack of the siblings's bedroom door. Tomi is woken up by the smell of freshly made food that stirs him from his sleep. He sits up on he bed slowly and stretches with a yawn.

He looks to his right to see his sister still sleeping but his brother already gone from his side of the bed. So he leans over to his sister and shakes her by the shoulder, "Tikky... Tikky, it's time to wake up."

Tika groans a bit and turns on her other side facing her brother. "I'm too tired to walk downstairs..."

Tomi smiles a bit as he slides off the bed to stand up. He reaches over for his sister and pulls her to the edge. "Come on Tikky, I'll carry you down to the kitchen. I think Mom's almost done cooking breakfast."

The girl sluggishly attaches herself onto his back, Tomi giving her a piggyback ride to the kitchen. He opens the door to the room and gently closes it shut behind them. Then he walks down the stairs carefully so he doesn't fall along with his sister.

"Oh Tomi!" Tord says seeing his youngest son walking towards them with his daughter on his back after getting down the steps. "You're just in time for breakfast."

Tomi looks around the kitchen to see no sight of his mom, it's just his dad and older brother. "Where's Mom?"

"He left earlier this morning to get a head start on his errand. So I was the one to cook breakfast today with Torm's help." Tord says proudly with a puff of his chest.

"I didn't know you can cook."

"Don't judge a book by its cover."

Tomi giggles softly as he comes closer to counter to set his sister down on one of the chairs. Tika gets off his back and rubs her eyes to take away her sleepiness. "Good Morning..."

"Morning min datter." Tord coming over to kiss her forehead. He did the same with Tomi too once he got into his own seat. The father of the three teens wanted to give Torm a kiss on the forehead as well, but he knew Torm wouldn't let him. A simple greeting is enough when it comes to his eldest son.

They enjoyed their specially made pancakes at the table. Tika making conversation with her family just like Tord, but the Lawson brothers were still having a hard time trying to talk to each other again.

"Okay, so today's plan is going around the city, each of you can pick any place you want to go to while we look around." Their father says giving them today's plan until their mother gets back. "We'll be eating lunch by your choosing so make sure you guys look out for any restaurants you want to eat at."

Tomi yawns as he's still trying to wake himself up. "Mhm... We can go where ever we want?"

"Yes, but we have to stay together. Otherwise your mother will have a heart attack if he finds out you guys went missing again." He eyes Torm and Tomi very clearly, "I'm talking about the two of you after all."

"Yes Father." Torm replies as he cuts up his food.

Tomi gives off a soft laugh as he continues to eat his pancakes. It's quite common for them to end up in missing situations.

Breakfast finishes without too much of a problem for the four of them. Torm cleaned up the dishes and left overs while the Lawson siblings went upstairs to go freshen up for the long day ahead of them.

Torm and Tomi lets their sister take a shower first while they get their clothes for the day since she had chosen her outfit the day before. Tika went into the bathroom quickly to take her shower with her towel and clothes in her arms.

Once the door clicked shut, the bedroom was covered in silence. Neither Torm nor Tomi spoke a word to each other.

Talk

Torm stared eye to eye with his doppelganger who stood right in front of him with a serious expression.

Talk Torm

The devil ignores his look alike, yet he could never ignore the ache in his heart.

Tomi grabs his outfit for today, another one of his reversible sleeveless hoodies, black crop top with a matching colored skirt and short combat boots.

Tomi...

'Not now...' The demon mentally says as he sits on the back of his calfs. His fingers fiddle with the charm of his necklace out of pain and nervousness from being in the same room as his brother.

Torm picks out his usual white dress shirt with checkered sleeves, his back tee shirt to put over it, along with his black jeans and combat boots.

"You can shower right after Tika."

Tomi responds with a small hum.

Tika soon came out of the bathroom with her clothes on and towel hanging on her arm. "Bathroom's free now!" Her hair was also in a mess from being blow dried.

Tomi quickly goes to the bathroom to take his turn to freshen up.

Tika puts away the lavender colored towel before grabbing a comb to straighten it out. "Come on..." She does have difficulty combing her hair in the morning. Usually her mother would help her since she can't do it in the back.

Her older brother watches her struggle before he sighs and offers to help her. "Want me to comb your hair for you Tika?"

"U-Uh yes please!" Tika smiles as she hands the comb over to her brother.

Torm picks up some of her hair and gently combs through the tangles, careful not to pull too hard that it would hurt.

"Torm, have you talk to Tomi recently?"

"..." He didn't reply for a moment as he continued to comb her hair. "I have."

"I could tell seeing you two have gotten a bit more distant from each other again." Tika fiddles with her fingers, she wanted to talk to her brother about this. Possibly help if she could. "Do you wanna talk about it?"

Torm sets down the combed hair and picks up the other half to untangle. "I rather not at the moment angel." He stops combing her hair for a moment to place a kiss on her cheek.

Tika's cheeks turn rosy as a shy smile forms on her lips. She was always called angel by Torm on most occasions when it's just the two of them like Tom does sometimes.

"When everything settles down, then I'll talk to you about it." He resumes to combing her hair again. "I promise."

"Alright..."

By the time Torm's done combing her hair, Tomi is coming out of the bathroom all dressed and refreshed. Torm picks up his clothes and takes his turn to use the bathroom.

Tomi comes over to his sister smiling brightly like always when he sees her. "Tikky! Let me tie your hair up today!"

The girl giggles and takes the red and blue hair ties off her wrist, "Okay Tomi, here." Tomi receives the two different color ties.

The demon teen smiled as he collected some of his sister's hair to create her tiny horn as he likes to call it instead of pony tail. It just reminded him of their Dad and brother.

He smiles happily at a job well done after tying the red tie in place after the blue one. Tomi kisses his sister's other cheek then pulling back to hug her from behind. "Love you Tikky, thanks for being my sister."

"Love you too Tomi," Tika says fondly leaning back against her brother.

Soon enough Torm's done with his shower and they all head down to the living room to wait for their dad, only to see him already there and cleaned up for the day.

"Before we start heading out, I have a couple of things to handout." Tord picks up the duffel bag he brought with him from base. He sticks his hand into the back to pull out a couple of gadgets and supplies. "First off we have communication. I'm sure you can figure out who owns what."

The kids watch their dad place three colored cell phones on the coffee table. One of the Red, another Baby Blue, and the last a soft Lavender.

Torm picks his phone up which had a blue lanyard attaches to the phone case. He places his phone deep down the front pocket of his jeans.

Tomi smiles and picks his phone up by the red colored lanyard hanging off of it. He hangs it around his neck happy.

As for Tika, she takes her lavender colored phone with a half red and blue lanyard, placing it in the black purse Opal gave to her before they left Base.

"And I got two more things to give to Tika and one more thing for you two." He pulls out a small tranquilizer gun and pepper spray. "These are just in case you feel like some creepy or strange guy is trailing you and they approach you." Tord is going to try his best not to lose the kids or his partner would kill him.

Tika accepts them and places them in her purse too, while her dad reaches inside the bag again to pull out two ear pieces. "Since Tomi and Torm have their monster powers they're on the safe side, however you need to be discreet sometimes. So if you're in a position where you can't pull out your phone, use these ear pieces."

Now one would wonder if it's safe to be giving these kids these devices and gadgets. Any other child no, but the Lawson siblings have been trained to handle these kinds of equipments. That's what most of their classes were for after all.

Once they got everything on and in arms reach they set off down the hotel elevator from the penthouse.

The first thing Tika did when they stepped outside is hold her brothers's hands in each of her hands. She couldn't wait to see the Red City and what it has to offer.

Tord took them around town, giving them a tour of the city from here and there. They took a cab to reach some far places like the amusement part by the outskirts of the city. They played a lot of games and rode rides at their own pace.

There was no rush for anything and Tord couldn't be any more grateful to spend time with his kids. He spoiled them down to the bone with what they wanted even if they were shy to admit what they wanted in various areas.

As they were back in the city, walking about, Tord caught his daughter and youngest son glancing so often at a store coming up. It's a little doll maker store which you can pick a unstuffed doll and make it to your liking.

"Let's go in here." Tord says as he walks to the door to hold the door open. The employees inside tense to see him since he is the top leader controlling the city and its pay. It's not that they were scared at all, no they were in awe and wanted to make a good impression. The other customers, parents looking as the family came in, with a quick bow of respect.

Tord didn't mind them and looks at the three teens. "You guys can pick something out. I'll be here okay."

"Dad..." Tomi says quietly feeling shy since people rather than the soldiers were looking at them. He wasn't used to them yet. Tika also felt the same as she held onto her older brother's black shirt.

Red Leader pats Tomi on the head to sooth him while Torm hugs his sister loosely in front of him. "Torm, watch your siblings okay. This is a big store after all."

"Yes Father." Torm replies looking at the man. He looks at Tomi unsure if he could pull him over since they're still on awkward terms.

Tord moves Tomi, much to Torm's appreciation, over to him. The older Lawson sibling leads his younger siblings around the store while they try to lessen their shyness.

Tomi looks around as he stays close behind his brother. He spots the displays on the shelf to see what the finish products look like but he can't seem to find any of interest. The demon sighs, "Tomee Bear is better than what they have here." He mumbles quietly to himself even if he forgot Torm has a sense of strong hearing like him.

As for Tika, she spotted a few she likes, but not so much. She finally slips away from her brother's comforting hold to look around more. Torm's left to deal with a shadowing demon behind him who has yet to say a word to him.

She turns the corner where hardly anyone is looking around to figure out why. The section itself was hardly filled with any of the promotional ones they have on the display window outside. She called it the reject section sadly enough.

Tika hums as she takes a look at each one of them. Eventually, she comes across a strange but interesting display animal of the final product. It's a teddy bear of the sorts but a little bit thinner but with more width than Tomee Bear. It had one black button eye on the left whole a red button eye on the right. Its stuffed claws are longer on its paws than the ones on its feet. The color of the fur sandy.

She reached into the bin and pulled out the first start of the products and smiles happily. Tika goes back to her brother standing still with Tomi quiet behind him. The girl could see their pain...

She wants to do something for them...

A small idea begins forming in her head, she wouldn't be able to do it yet until they got back to the penthouse.

"Oh Tika," Torm says seeing her coming back towards them. "Did you find something?"

She nods her head and lifts the unstuffed doll up to show her older brother. "Isn't he cute?"

Torm looks the strange bear over and smiles a bit. He kinda knew his sister has a special taste when it comes to certain things, taken that she loves her oversized dog for example back at home.

"Yes Tika," The teen chuckles patting her head.

Tomi peeks out from behind Torm to look at the doll. He grins, "I like the button eyes!"

"I know right!"

After their small conversation, the three of them went to the stuffing machine where a worker helps her a bit nervously due to the fact she came along with Red Leader. They try their best to make sure the doll is properly stuffed and in perfect condition.

"You can go ahead and pick a heart for your bear." The young man said pointing over to a plastic cube filled with different colored hearts.

Tika looks at the hearts, shuffling them around until she finds one appropriate for her bear. Smiling she pulls out a half blue half red heart. She comes back over and gives it to the employee who lets her place it inside. The young man then sows the back of the bear up and hands it over to her.

"Thank you very much..." She looks at the man's name tag. "Aaron."

"It's not a problem at all." Aaron replies as he waves her and her siblings off.

Torm and Tomi try to help Tika pick out accessories for her new bear, but she didn't feel like her bear needed anything other than being itself. So they went back to their dad who was waiting by the register for them.

"Dad look! Tika found one she wanted!"

"Well lets see the little guy," Tord says looking towards Tika's direction.

She pulls the stuffed bear from behind her back surprising her back seeing the unique looking doll. He laughs, jokingly saying, "It reminds me of your brothers."

"Dad!"

"Father!"

The two say with either a pout of flushed face.

Tord laughs patting the two boys on the back, "Well that just shows how much your sister loves and thinks about you two a lot. You two should be grateful to have a caring sister like her."

Tika hides her face behind her bear with a flushed face. She doesn't know how her dad did it, but he was able to figure out why she liked the stuffed bear in the first place. It's not her fault she like things relating to her brothers, it's just that she loves them so much that she would support them no matter what.

"Dad..." She whines quietly embarrassed.

They went over to the cashier and Tord payed for the stuffed doll with a smile. The cashier surprised but didn't say anything that might offend the powerful leader.

"Um, what would you like to name you bear?" The lady at the cashier asks. "We make certificates for ever doll make her for their owners."

Tika thought about it for a moment and smiles. "Tromi." She giggles holding her brothers's hand in her own. "A combination name of my two favorite brothers."

The lady types it in and gets the certificate printed, them placed inside the box with the newly named bear. "Here you are, have a great rest of the day."

Tord picks up the back and gives it to Tika after thanking the cashier. The four of them leave the stores just in time for Tord's cell phone to to ring.

Ring ring

He pulls his phone out and checks the caller to see its Tom calling him. Tord accepts the call, placing the phone next to his ear. "Hello Witness~ To what do I owe this call?"

"Hmm~ I just wanted to check up on you and the kids. Are you you having fun?" Tom asked while he's making dinner back at the penthouse. He came back from his errand a bit soon then expected around noon. So he decided to take a nap for awhile until it was time to make dinner.

"Very much min kjære. The kids are having a blast going around the city." Tord tells him as the teens in front of him continue to look around in awe and curiosity. "Where are you?"

"Back at the penthouse, my little errand was finished earlier than expected so I'm cooking dinner right now. I expect you four to be back around seven by the way." Tom stirs the soup while he switches the phone to his other ear. "I made a couple of favorite dishes for tonight to enjoy while we watch a movie tonight in the living room."

Tord hums, "Alright, we'll be back soon enough."

"Oh and Tord~" Tom sweetly says.

"Yes dear?"

Tom stops stirring the soup in the pot, "You better not be spoiling them too much Commie."

Laughing a bit awkwardly Tord nods even though his husband can't see him. It's a good thing he's getting everything he bought for the kids, except Tika's bear, shipped to the camp to be put on the plane they're taking back to base.

"Good, I'll see you four when you get home then."

With that, Tom hung up the phone.

~+Time Skip: Back at the Penthouse+~

The whole family got back together at the penthouse, surprised by Tom's cooking on the living room table and a movie waiting to be played for them to watch.

The boys, Torm and Tomi, went upstairs to change into their pjs while Tika shows her mom the stuff animal her dad bought her. Tom was quickly to assume she got it because of her brother which Tord had said earlier. She really couldn't escape her mother's correct assumptions.

The boys came back down and took their seats on the couch facing the tv waiting to eat. Tika took her new doll upstairs with her to go get changed while her parents take the love seat by the couch to cuddle and talk about their day.

Tika quickly changes into her pjs after setting down Tromi on the bed. Quietly she goes to her backpack and pulls out a jar of colored, folded, origami stars. A soft smile stretches her lips as she opens it up. Tika unfold one of them to read what's hidden on the inside.

Dear Tika,
Your brothers seem to have gotten into a fight again. I wish you were here to help me calm them down... They really could use their sister's presence...

I'm sorry little love, I promise I'll write more to you soon. I have to go take care of your brothers at the moment, I can't stand seeing them fighting.

I miss you,
-Your Mother

Tika always found something to do when she was bored during the time she lived at the Rebellion Base. Rewriting her mother's letters on long strips of paper to fold them into colorful origami stars.

She refolds the unfolded star and drops it back in with all the other rewritten letters.

'Your brothers were the sweetest little monsters back then Tika... They made everyone smile and made even the worst of days the best ones.'

She remembers her father talking about her brothers about when they were still in their younger forms.

'If they're ever in distress Tika... try your best to help your mother and I cheered them up, alright?'

Quietly she puts her jar back in her backpack so she could go take a peek at what's going on down stairs. She goes pass the bedroom door to look over the railing.

Tika looks at her parents snuggling up to the loveseat together side by side. As for her brothers, when she looks to them, they're both on the opposite ends of the couch either fiddling with their phone or focusing on the tv playing softly in the background.

She felt that she couldn't let this go on any longer than it should. Tika decided to put her mom's teaching to good use. She grabbed the guitar from her shared bedroom with her brothers. It was a request from their mom in any case that they might want to brush up on their musical skills.

The only daughter of the Lawson Family went back down stairs and stand in front of the TV.

Her parents look at her with some confusion while her brothers wondered what she was doing. Torm muted the volume of the tv seeing his sister had the guitar in her hands.

"Tika?" Tomi questions confused as he takes his attention off the tv.

The girl took a breath and softly sang in front of her family, more focally aimed to her brothers. "I look up from the ground, to see your sad and teary eyes. You look away from me~" Tika looks up from the floor to her brothers.

"And I see there's something you're trying to hide, and I, reach for your hand but it's cold you pull away again. And I wonder what's on your mind~" Her fingers strum the guitar lulling her family into the song. Tika's brothers more in tuned to the music as she kept singing.

"And then you say to me you made a dumb mistake~" She sang looking at Torm. "You start to tremble and your voice begins to break~" These lyrics she sang for Tomi.

"You say the drawings on the counter weren't your friends, they were my mates..." Tika removers the collection of drawings she found in her brother's side of the room back at the base.

She may or may not looked through her brother's closet at one point hoping to find her missing scarf. Only to find it hanging on the back of Torm's desk chair where she found the drawings.

"And I feel the color draining from my face..." Torm felt his sister's lyrics reach his emotions and grab on tightly. "And my friend said, "I know you love him, but it's over, mate. It doesn't matter, put the phone away... It's never easy to walk away, let him go~"" Tika smiles sadly. "It'll be alright."

"So I asked to look back at all the messages you'd sent. And I know it wasn't right, but it was messing with my head." Tomi looks away and closes in on himself, while Tike remembers all the words he told her about his problems.

"And everything deleted like the past, it was gone. And when I touched your face, I could tell you're moving on~" His sister's song rang so many bells to him, to his brother too since their last conversation.

The next lyrics caught Tomi off guard as his sister sang about what hurt the most.

She was basically selling him out on the spot to their older brother. "But it's not the fact that you kissed him yesterday. It's the feeling of betrayal, that I just can't seem to shake~"

"And everything I know tells me that I should walk away~ But I just want to stay, and my friend said "I know you love him, but it's over, mate. It doesn't matter, put the phone away... It's never easy to walk away, let him go~ It'll be okay.""

She keeps paying the guitar softly as her older brother looks to Tomi with red eyes one again fading to blue. Seeing Tomi trying to hold himself in already told him so much by Tika's song.

'Do you know how hard it is for me to let you go?'

"It's gonna hurt for a bit of time. So bottoms up, let's forget tonight~ You'll find another and you'll be just fine, let him go~" Tika strums the guitar strings softly just like her voice goes soft as well. She looks at Torm, directing him to comfort their brother by the movement of her head.

Torm carefully scoots across the couch to Tomi.

'Your big brother's worried about you.'

"But nothing heals the past like time~ And they can't steal... The love you're born to find." Torm closes in on his brother and hugs him around the neck in comfort. Tomi could feel tears welling up in the corner of his eyes.

Tom and Tord watching Torm really trying to bring their youngest son back. It's not like they didn't know what was going on between the two. They're their parents after all, nothing goes pass them.

"But nothing heals the past like time. And they can't steal~~ The love you're born to find~" Tika stops for a bit to catch her breath.

"I know you love him, but it's over, mate. It doesn't matter, put the phone away~ It's never easy to walk away, let him go~" Tika strums one last cord and finishes softly.

Tomi shakily brings his hand up to clutch at the arm looped around the front of neck hugging him.

"It'll be alright~"

Tomi whispers into his brother's ear.

"I'm sorry Tormy..."

"It's okay Tomi... It's okay..."

New Chapter!!!

So yes Torm and Tomi are finally settling down their little argument and apologized to each other. They'll be back to normal soo enough with time.

Tika singing might I add was a nice touch, I could just imagine her singing ^^

All of Tom's old letter to Tika were rewritten by Tika on long strips of paper to make origami stars. This all being conveniently portable by a jar that's usually kept in her room on the desk.

Tord got his bonding time with his kids ^^ He doesn't hesitate to spoil them on the spot, but the kids know how to handle themselves when their father does seem to be able to buy them anything they want.

Tom's got a hold of keeping Tord at bay for the most part ^^'

Alright I think that's enough for now, let's get to the Hall you've all been waiting for.
