The streets of Hogsmead were thick with fog You couldn't even see the ground that you were walking on With all the murders by Death Eaters, a curfew had been put in place and it was severe punishment if you were found still walking the streets after dark but Lucindra still dared to venture out. A black cloak shrouded her thinn frame and her long fiery hair She had long changed out of her Hogwarts uniform, she wanted to see one of these Death Eaters up close and she was willing to risk her life to do so, besides she never really was one for the rules, she thought rules were always there to be broken. She saw the Hogsmead patrol walking toward her, she ducked into an alley way she was enveloped by the shadows She heard a thud Her eyes flicked to the end of the alley way, it as a dead end but there was a Death Eater with their latest victim, her wish had been granted.

She tries to stay out of sight, but it's too late he has seen her with a great cloak billowing out behind him he approaches her, he uses his weight to push her back against the wall, he presses both his hands onto the wall flat next to her head and traps her there between the wall and himself. She can hear his breathing behind the mask and his bright eyes trained on her, they roam over her features. He pulls her hood down revealing her face, "you're a young one," he says moving his head closer, "much too young to be out here alone, you must have a death wish darling." Lucindra couldn't respond, her vocal cords frozen in fear. The sound of dogs barking could be heard, his gaze snapped to the entrance of the alley way, he ran back to the end of the alley way and disappeared through the wall. She let out a breath that she didn't realise she had been holding and laughs to herself quietly, she had just had an unknowingly brush with death she was lucky this time but next time if he saw her again would she be so lucky?

She saw the Hosgsmead patrol approaching again with their barking deer hounds, she pulled her cloak back up and kept in the shadows as she navigated her way back to Hogwarts. She took the secret tunnel back to the dormitory and laid in her bed like she had been there all the time, but she couldn't stop thinking about him, The Death Eater. Why did he spare her? Why her? His eyes, they looked gentle but fierce. She started drawing up theories of who he could have been and what he looked like behind the mask and why he chose to serve the Dark Lord. That was when the loud bell chimed signaling it was morning and the day was about to begin. But Lucindra didn't want to get up. It took one of her friends pulling the curtains open in her room to finally rouse her.

"Come on get up! Classes are about to begin!" She says gleefully.
