Cold wind circled the village. Sirens of red and blue lightened the streets. Cries of children heard from the distance as their guardians are forcefully taken into custody. It was the same thing over and over and over again.

Electric eyes stared down into the town as his little body shivered in fear. Destruction was all around him as people screamed, cried, and mourned. In his mind, he doesn't understand what was happening. Citizens running away from what ever was behind the boy as he didn't even glimpse at it.

His parents were no where to be found, not a single peep came out of his mouth as policemen circled him. Confused of the situation he closed his eyes then-

He suddenly jerked out of his bed, sweat pouring down his forehead as he shallow breaths were being overtaken with panic. His sapphire eyes went everywhere in the room except the mirror as he was afraid he would see something terrifying. It's the same thing. the same god thing.

The man looked over at his alarm to see the bright red numbers, 5:30. The man in blue pajamas sighed as he took off the covers of his warm haven and jumped out of the bed. He reached down to touch his toes and then stretched his back as he yawned in the process. After rubbing his eyes with his pale, sweaty, palms he went over to the closet and got out a navy uniform, with words labeled 'NEISS' across the whole outfit.

He noticed a note near the collar tied to the tag with a red ribbon. It was in a nice neat fold as he opened it to see words in cursive in a small paragraph.

'Have an amazing first day of work, Jay!'

'Love, Ed and Edna the servants'

At least he knows someone cares about his first big day. Jay's family is very, and he means VERY rich and successful. Jay's father was the founding father of the Ninjago Elemental Facility where all elementals were held against their undying will. His mother on the other hand was never around. She was very distant and never even shows her face to the public, his father tells him she's at work and had a long day, but to Jay it was an excuse.

Ed and Edna were almost like parents to him. They practically raised him when his mother and father were away which was all the time. They had tough him things that he knew his parents would never understood. That might be how he gets his non stop talking.

Jay got undressed and put on his new uniform. He had a very slim body and was taller then most, that's mostly because everyone is very small in his town. The blue eyed boy rolled up his sleeves reveling a completely black tattoo shaped as a lightning bolt on his wrist, most would say that he's to young to get one, but he just felt a connection with it ever since his nightmares began.

The man in uniform went over to the mirror he was once afraid of and looked at his reflection. For once he felt confident in himself, the deep stare into his own electric blue eyes, the specks of brown scattered around his nose and cheeks. Lastly, but not least the one notch in his brow that was the Gordon signature. His father has it, his grandfather had, even his grandfather had it. It was almost a tradition in a way.

Completely out of thought, the door busted open to revel Edna the maid, or what Jay likes to call her, mum. "Oh, Jay, sweetheart so look so handsome in your little uniform. You remind me of you father." She complemented as she went up to Jay and fixed up the collar of his shirt.

"Thank you, mum," Jay thanked as Edna was continuing to fix up his outfit, "I've never been both nervous and excited at the same time before."

Edna smiled, "Those were my exact feelings when I married Edward. I had butterflies in my stomach, yet smiling like a sunflower. It brings a lot of emotions, but it's worth it."

The maid finished fixing the boy up as she backed away to get a final glance at the new employee, "My little boy is growing up."

He truly has, over the years she's been working for the Gordons Ed and Edna have been in Jay's life since he was born. Mostly because Edna was the Midwife when he was unexpectedly due on a really bad day.

"Do you want some breakfast before you go?" She asked him as she was about to leave.

Jay shook his head, "No thank you, mum. I should be getting to the facility anyway, but thank you for the offer." He said as he grabbed his workbag from the corner of his desk and gave Edna a quick kiss on the cheek.

He went through the door and walked down the flight of stairs as he flung himself to the front door. "Bye, mum! Bye, pa! I'll see you after work!" He exclaimed before shutting the door. He let out a sigh in relief as he walked to his 1965 blue Mercedes. He opened the door and plopped himself in the fresh scented vehicle.

Once he started up the car, he backed out of his driveway and into the road. Jay was now finally on the road as he drove however he could see the protesters outside of the front gates of his home. Signs saying such awful things and profanity about his family and the company they owned.

Everyday there were new protesters at the gates whether they are family of Elementals or are Elementals themselves. It was very clear people didn't like the Ninjago Elemental Facility after slight rumors started roaming around of it killing the Masters, but Jay couldn't confirm it even he wanted to because he doesn't even know himself.

That type of information was only allowed for level ten employees, but right now Jay was level one, a security guard. He wanted a challenge and if he was going to fill his father's footsteps then he had to work hard in order to take his place.

Passing down more streets of the city he noticed children in the streets crying as their being held by police as parents are being forced into cars with red and blue lights. Some were already homeless and the only food they could contain were their tears streaming down their faces.

It broke Jay's heart as he passed by the ill children. He wanted to do something, he really did, but he knew all too well it was about the Ninjago Elemental Facility that's the problem. Jay couldn't bring it down, he would be disowned by his own family if he did.

Then he found the one place he has wanted to see for years. The Ninjago Elemental Facility. He pulled up to the front gates to see his father standing there awaiting him to enter the gates. The gates opened as he drove his car very carefully before making a full stop in a reserved parking area.

Jay jumped out of his seat with his workbag as he went up to his father as he held out his hand for his son to shake. The young Gordon smiled, shaking his father's hand in acceptance. Cliff smiled at his son, proud of his accomplishments to make it to where he is now. Jay has never seen him so happy.

"It's great to have you here, son." Cliff Gordon told Jay as he took his son's workbag from his hand.

"It's a pleasure to be here, father."
