Smiling gratefully, Jay walked beside his father as they walked to the main doors of the facility. The Gordon's were almost like celebrities if you may call it that, some say they found the best possible way for the land to be peaceful, others say differently. Being both controversial and loved they were all over news papers, socials, television, and etc. So to no certain surprise there were of course cameramen all around the facility trying to get a first glimpse at the new employer.

Cliff smiled and waved at the paparazzi before the security opened the main doors to the front office. The slim man remembered almost every single detail about the facility. His father used to bring him all the time to see some of the elementals from the upper area playing in their yearly games, The Tournament of Elements.

Some say it's the best thing for the elementals to play others say that it's their death trap. Either way it was entertaining to many, even the masters themselves. It was one of the rare times you would see the masters using their elements, but that's when it's the most strongest you'll ever see them year round. And that was always the best part.

Breaking out of his thoughts, Jay looked over at his father in reassurance before walking over to the front desk. Sitting at the desk was a lady, with silver hair tied in a neat French twist with a purple jumper and bright green orbs to make her shiny skin glow. "Hello, how may I help you?" she asked.

"Hi, I'm Jay Gordon and I'm here for my first day of work." The man responded. He fidgeted with his fingers under the desk, his palms sweating, and feeling lightheaded.

The woman smiled, "Jay Gordon, son of Cliff and Libber Gordon. Level one security in the lower area." She told him. 'Lower area?' Jay thought to himself. There's no such thing.

"L-Lower area? I thought it was the upper area?" Jay questioned looking back over at his father giving him a sympathetic look.

The female shook her head, "I'm sorry sir, but my database says that you are assigned in the lower area. Have you misunderstood the location you applied for?" She asked giving Jay a confused look.

"I-I-"

"No, he's in the right one. I wanted to be the one to surprise him, however; thank you Pixal for the information. Now please continue your work as you were." Cliff quickly answered to the woman.

The lady simply nodded and started typing along the keys on the computer as the printer released a sheet of paper. Pixal took out the sheet and handed it the Jay, "Here's the map of the facility, the lower area in under the lower area and then take two rights and you're there. If you need any assistance then don't be afraid to ask. Now have a nice first day, Jay Gordon." she stated breaking her gaze from the father and son duo.

Jay looked at the map and by godly it was huge. There were three different floors, the potentates area, the upper area, and the lower area. Each completely different whether it's good or bad. Jay only knew that he was going to one that he was very unfamiliar with.

Once they started walking down the corridors to their destination Jay was confused about his working position so he decided to question it. "Father, what is the 'lower area' anyway? You never mentioned it whenever I came to the facility when I was younger." Jay asked.

Cliff sighed, "Well you always said you wanted a challenge. The lower area is where the most dangerous elemental masters are located, Whether it's because of their element or if it was their actions which led to some consequences. It is a very secured place, but some of my guards have been lacking off and been taking advantages  of some of the masters. And we don't need anymore of them popping up, so I insisted on you being here since you are such a gentlemen and quite a fighter if I do say so myself." He explained to his son.

Taking in all the information, the dark auburn haired man sighed with a little smile. So he does care about me. Jay looked over to his father before walking down the stairs to the lower area, "Thank you, father. I won't let you down." he said confidently.

Cliff smiled in approval, "I know you won't, now lets go and check out the lower area shall we?" he proposed patting his son on the back. Jay nodded as they walked down the stairs to the last floor to only revel cages filled with prisoners, but the thing was there weren't very many of them. Unlike the upper area, the master's were locked up in cages while the upper area were able to be free and move around.

Jay notice the glistening lights dim as he walked further into the so like prison. Little labels next to each cell caught his attention, each stating what their element was. One was the Master of Poison, another was Master of Form, and even some useless elementals as well. The duo stopped at one specific cell however, Master of Water, the label said. It was the very last cell which was in the very corner barely in the view of the corridor.

Cliff turned his son around to face him eye to eye, "Now son, I must warn you. This certain master is one of the most dangerous ones in this whole facility. In only a year had it had over five security and all have failed to keep watch. I'm trusting you to watch it with your life and make sure it doesn't run away. Understood?" He said with a stern voice.

Jay gulped and nodded. His father smiled, rubbing his son's shoulder before leaving him to do his patrol. The slim man looked over at the cell containing the Master of Water. How can it be dangerous? It's water.

He stepped close to the cell, trying to get a better glimpse of the Master his father described. Then the boy noticed tons of chains strapped on the master. Clinked to its ankles, wrist, neck, and waist was the chains holding a single person in. Not only that, but did the boy noticed that the master was not an it, but a girl.

Her hair in a very loose ponytail as her hair covered her face, her clothes basically rags compared to the masters in the upper area almost like a hospital gown for the mentally insane, and the most eye catching feature were her ocean eyes, almost staring into your soul. Her pale complexion glistened in the little light the cell uphold within it's grasp.

She was probably the most useless one down here and yet she's the most cautioned. Surprising if some must say. Jay cleared his throat, "Hi, um what's your name?" he asked in a soft voice.

The women didn't even dared to reply, she didn't even look at him. Jay doesn't know what the women went through so he might as well give her time to talk. "Well if it makes you feel better my name is Jay, Jay Gordon." He introduced himself still staring at the girl.

"She doesn't like to talk you know." A sudden, deep, and somewhat raspy voice said. Jay turned around to see a man in the same uniform as him with mid-length burnet hair, a nasty beard shave, and what looks like an eyepatch on his right eye.

Jay raised an eyebrow, "Really?" he questioned walking closer to the man.

He nodded, "Yep, I used to guard her cell until I lost an eye to her at least." He confessed pointing at the patched up eye. Jay looked back at the girl just sitting there chained without giving her gaze to him. That made the boy wonder.

"She's been through a lot from what I've been told. She came here a young age with her brother, both parents already dead and were in foster care. Her brother comes down here every now and then for troublesome actions to others, but he mostly stays in the upper area," The man told him holding up his hand, "Ronin, and I'm assuming that you're the newbie, Jay Gordon."

Jay nodded as he shook Ronin's hand, "Yeah that's me. What's her brother's element if I may ask?" He asked Ronin with curiosity.

Ronin crossed his arms in front of his chest, "He's the Master of Fire."

Master of Fire? Wouldn't he be in here full time since fire is more dangerous than water? "Then how come the Master of Water is down here full time and not the Master of Fire?" he questioned.

The rusty man chuckled, "Oh dear boy, that information is classified. Only level three get that information. You're still at level 1. But what I can say is that she's a lot more dangerous than what you might think." He said before walking away.

Jay wondered about the Master of Water the rest of the day as she just sat there in her prison and just stared at the ground. One way or another he would find out everything, but right now he just needs to get through level 1.
