Paul was walking through hearthome city with his electivire by his side, he heard about ash's disappearance and how some people were saying that he might be dead.

' are they hearing themselves ? Ash is stronger than he seems and not even death can stop him ' he thought as he stopped by a bench, he sat down and was checking his pokedex when he heard a loud explosion close to where he was.

He got up and shoved his dex in his pocket and ran over to the source of the explosion with his electivire right beside him.

He found the source of the explosion at a battle field (like the ones on the ground), there was cyrus and all his pokemon were out.

But the person fighting him was castor and he had his meganium out and another pokemon was behind the plant dinosaur, paul noticed the pokemon was like a growlithe (sorry if wrong) but different.

Then he remembered seeing a pokemon just like it in a book in canalave city (sorry if wrong), it was a hisuian growlithe !

" this little guy you tried to steal is mine, but I also heard you fought my son and that equals death " castor said in a low tone that made a shiver of fear go down the spine.

Paul then saw a necklace (the one that armor has) around the meganium and a collor around castor's neck, the color was a soft pink with dark pink and yellow and blue hearts, but when castor activated the mega stone the collar and the hearts turned dark and the hearts changed to broken ones.

The meganium's form changed and it looked more like a scary plant monster, the meganium then unleashed a powerful solar beam that decimated cyrus's pokemon and it even killed some of them.

Cyrus was hit pretty badly and was unable to do anything as he laid there on the ground with multiple 3rd degree burns covering his torso and arms and legs.

The police came and castor was already gone by the time they arrived and they took cyrus and his pokemon away.

Paul was just stunned by the whole thing, first a new form of meganium and it could mega evolve, second was that a hisuian growlithe was alive and well despite going extinct centuries ago, third was that paul didn't know castor was ash's dad.

Didn't delia say that ash's dad was a pokemon trainer that left years ago ?

Anyway paul reported what he seen to the others (professor rowan was stunned to receive footage of cyrus getting absolutely owned by castor and paul giving his statement) and just went on.

But after a couple days cyrus was found dead on his hospital bed, his body butchered by what seemed to be ghosts.

But the most baffling thing was that a photo of the galaxy team was nearby but this one wasn't the one that cyrus made oh no.

It was made by a woman that looked eerily like him, it was like she was a genderbend of him.

But another thing both baffled and scared the doctors and police was that the photo was splattered with blood.

Cyrus's blood.
