In the afternoon, the Police Commissioner and the Head Priest visited Jackie's house. They were invited by Jackie. He introduced me to them, and then, we discussed the devil. Jackie informed that, I would contain the devil and he was convincing. There was a minute of silence in the hall, that if a pin would drop then that would make a thud. The Head Priest looked at me in surprise and exclaimed, "God!! That would be great, and if you do it, we would offer you with money and gifts."

The Commissioner cuts in, "I agree with the Head Priest, and we would definitely honour our words." I smiled and answered, "I have an eye on obliterating the devil once and for all. I don't seek any reward for this noble deed. My reward would be pulling the innocent villagers out of this quagmire." The Commissioner answered, "That's good, you are truly honest. Appreciate it, but I think you would need help in this." I told them that, I would require two Police Officials with me, and as the Priest Headquarters had become a centre of attraction for the devil, so I would be there at night. They were on the same page with me.

Later that evening, I recited the Holy Hymns of God, I had a small box of Holy Vermillion which is used in Worship, I smeared the Holy Vermillion on the Slingshot, I was not doing my work with my eyes closed on it, and I knew that the consequences would take away my life too, however, I was destined to do this work. I did Ablutions and pulled over plaid shirt and navy-blue trousers. I carried the Slingshot under my shirt, and I had nothing as a weapon. Two Police Officials came to the door, and I stepped out of house, Jackie too followed me.

I sat in the Police Vehicle, and I peered out of the window, as the sky was turning pale, and darkness weaving its web bough to bough. The Police Vehicle parked at the premises of the Priest Quarters, we went inside, and the Priests welcomed us, I looked at the dormitory of the Priests, which was large, the windows were large, and the cornices were large too. The corridors were marked with the Divine Symbols of God, also there were Censers hung on the walls,  emitting smoke. I asked about the Head Priest, and they informed that he had gone to the Temple in the village for conducting evening Prayers.
