Once the jet landed at the New Orleans airport, the Horsemen are taken to their hotel.

They all are waiting for Danny, who's checking their rooms. Jack is looking around and licks his lip a few times, Athena notices this.

"Hey, you ok?" She asks the older magician, Jack looks at the shorter girl before giving her a small smile, "Yeah" He replied, "You sure" Athena asks again for confirmation. "Yeah," He said the same thing, "Well okay then," she said.

Danny, walks over to the other Horsemen before speaking up, "Okay, we got our key cards, and Arthur was nice enough to book us, separate rooms, so.." He trails off... "Go nuts," He said before shoving the other key cards to Henley after taking one for his own.

Henley rolled her eyes at the older magician, before dividing the keys for the others.

Athena grabs one, but before she can pull her suitcase, someone else beat her to it, she turns around only to find Jack giving the bell boy their suitcases.

"Uh, what are you doing?" The girl asks, "You and I are going on that date" Jack exclaimed. "Now?" She asks, "Oh yeah," He said before pulling her by her hand out of the building.

The whole day, Jack has been pulling Athena around the streets of New Orleans, both of them looking at the preparation for Mardi Gras tomorrow.

The couple stops in front of a shop that sells all kind of handmade jewelry, Athena's eyes sparkle looking at the jewelry. On the other hand, Jack eyes sparkle not at the jewelry in front of him, but instead at the blond magician that has managed to capture his heart.

Athena walks around the shop, looking at the jewelry. Until she stops at this one stand that displays a simple necklace. She lingers there for a bit before continuing walking.

"Hey, see anything you like?" Jack asks his date once she approaches him, "No," She replied, Athena then proceeds to grab his arm and pull him out of the store.

They are walking hand in hand on the streets, talking about random things and Jack occasionally makes stupid jokes that still made Athena laughs, "I love this place, my dad and I use to come here often. He loves the magic shop here, even though it's not my favorite, I still like to accompany him here, just to see him smile at something other than what I achieved."

"Tell me about him," Jack said, "Why?" Athena asks, "Even though I have never met him, he sounds like a great guy, and a great dad so I want to know more about him," He replies. Both of them sits down on the grass at a small park they found.

"He is a great dad, he never let me down, he's not just a father, he's also my mother, brother and so much more." She said, "He used to take me to dance sessions, I love them, I guess he thinks that those dance sessions will bring me closer to my mom" She explains. "When he was younger, a few years older than Lionel Shrike's son, he said he used to be his kind of apprentice, that's what he told me, then I sort of became his apprentice, after the death of Shrike, but after my mother died, he takes off his mind by teaching me all the ropes to magic."

"Why are asking me to talk about my dad anyways?" She asks the older magician, "Because talking about him makes you happy, and I like seeing you smile, it makes you look beautiful" He said, Athena blush listening to his compliments.

"What? I don't look beautiful before this?" She asks, trying to cover up her red face. "No, you always look beautiful, but when you smile, it's just absolutely breathtaking" He replies looking directly at her green eyes. Both of them leaning closer, Jack's eyes keeps flickering from her eyes to her lips a few times.

"You're way too cheesy," She said, barely above a whisper. "Only for you" He replies, both magicians leans closer before Athena pulls away when music is played loudly behind them, "You hear that? Is that music?" She asks him, she quickly stands up and looks at Jack.

"What?" He asks, "Come on, let's check it out!" She said happily, she grabs his arm before pulling him up and drags him towards the music.

When they reach there, people are dancing around. The grin on Athena's face widens looking at the crowd. "Come on!" She exclaims happily, but before she can take any step, Jack pulls her back "Whoa? You want us to dance? Here? With all these people looking?" He asks, "Yeah, what you scared?" She asks him, taunting him.

Jack scoffs before looking at the dancing people before looking at the love of his life. "No, I'm just not good at the waltz," He said, "Come on, I can teach you," She said before pulling him, joining the crowd.

As the music goes, Athena teaches Jack how to waltz, she finds it weird that Jack picks the steps quick, too quick. "You sure you've never done this before," She asks, "I didn't say that, only said that I'm not good at it," He said before twirling her and catches her in his arm.

"Well, that's a lie" Athena exclaims, Jack smirks at her before dipping her down, their faces close to each other, Athena can feel his hot breath on her face.

Jack pulls her back up before continue to dance with her, making jokes, talking about their lives, not giving a single thought about the things around them.

After the dance, the both of them walk to the beach to look at the sunset, "Hey you go ahead, I need to get something, just for a second" Jack suddenly said.

"What? You want me to come with you?" She asks, "No, just go ahead, I'll meet you there." He said before running back to the way they came, Athena look at the boy weirdly before walking towards the beach.

When she gets there, she looks at the sea with a smile on her face and her arms around herself. She was startled by Jack who is covering her eyes.

"Jack," She said, "How did you know it's me?" He asks, his hands still covering the girl's eyes, "You wouldn't be standing if I didn't know" She states, "Fair enough" He said before uncovering her eyes.

Athena turns to look at him. "Where did you go?" She asks him, "Somewhere," He replies before continuing "Now turn around"

"What?" Athena asks, confuse. "Just turn around trust me," He said. "That's kind of hard, now is it?" She jokes, "You wouldn't be here with me if you don't trust me" He replies. "I'm here so you'll just stop whining like a little girl," She said with a straight face. She bursts into laughter once she looks at the reaction on Jack's face.

"Okay, I'll turn around," She said before turning around. She heard shuffling behind her before feeling something on her neck. "Okay, there," Jack said, Athena looks down and see the necklace that she likes from the jewelry shop that they went to.

She turns to look at Jack, "What is this for?" She asks with her hands holding the necklace around her neck. Jack grabs both of her hands and looks into her bright green eyes. "Believe it or not Athena Knight, I like you. Like, like you. You are absolutely amazing and the moment we met, you immediately caught my eyes." He said, leaving Athena in shock, Athena is speechless, and that is a first for the girl.

She quickly snaps out of it before her lips cover his lips, she has to tiptoe to do that, Jack was surprised but quickly realizes what is happening. His arms wrap around her waist pulling her closer while Athena's hand is playing with his hair.

One of Jack's hand reached up to her cheek before kissing her deeply. Both of them pulls away due to the lack of air, Athena pants and looks at the boy's eyes.

"I like you too," She said, her voice only above a whisper, "Who taught that you can fall for someone who stole their wallet," She said, a mischievous glint in her eyes, Jack rolls his eyes before capturing her lips with his.

"So does this mean I'm your boyfriend?" He asks once he pulls away for air. "I don't know, why don't you prove it to me," She whispers to him and bites her lips.

He looks at her with love before tossing her on his shoulder and runs in the direction of their hotel, Athena laughs loudly as he does so.

Let's just say it was an eventful night filled with a few soft noises.
