(Warning: Mentions of Ableism and bullying, Reader descrietion is advised.)

-Harper used to get bullied by tons of kids during middle school.

-They would often get swirlies, wedgies and ableistic notes every now and then. Sometimes they would even bully them for being mute and non-binary.

-Harper was very close to their grandfather a long time ago, and they would always visit him in the hospital with their parents every week before he died.

-Harper made a present for his grandfather which was a drawing of them and their grandfather that said "Best granddad ever" with hearts in it. Unfortunately, one of their bullies had ripped it while they were in the bathroom.

-It happened when Harper was almost done making their drawing of them and their grandfather when one of their bullies (Jessica) came up to them and saw the drawing. They tried to get the drawing back, but they couldn't because Jessica kept passing it on to her goons while saying "If you wanted it back, You could've just said so. Oh wait, You can't. Because you're just a deaf freak" before ripping it in front of them in full view.

-Harper was so heartbroken that they beat up Jessica in a fit of blind rage, scaring some of her goons a bit.

-They felt guilty for not being able to give something to their grandfather before they died, because they wanted to give him something for his birthday. They worked hard on the drawing but the bullies ripped it before they could. But Harper's grandfather always assured them that being there by his side was the greatest gift ever.

-Harper wanted to visit his grandpa in his dying moments, but couldn't because one of Jessica's goons beat them up for getting Jessica in trouble as payback. They got beaten up so badly that they were knocked out and was forced to spend the remaining moments in the nurse' clinic.

-Harper found out their grandfather had already passed away by the time they recovered and cried a lot. Even at the funeral, Harper kept on crying a lot with their parents comforting them. To this day, Harper felt guilty for not being able to spend time with their grandfather before they died, and to this day still carried that guilt with them.

-One day, Harper came back to school looking depressed after spending the entire week grieving their grandfather's death. Jessica and her goons came back and decided to mock them for their current depressed nature. It got bad to the point where during class, Jessica began to make ableistic comments towards them, before Harper snapped and furiously wrote a note and threw it at her which read;

("My grandfather died"-Harper.)

-Unfortunately, Jessica, after reading the note began to laugh at Harper's depressed state and began to mock them again for being that upset over their grandfather's death, before she and her goons continued to make more ableistic comments and proceed to insult Harper's grandfather. Harper... Snapped. And proceeded to beat them up to an absolute pulp, gaining the attention of some students and teachers.

-Harper was then called into the principal's office alongside with Jessica and her goons including their parents. It took a long time to convince the principal about the truth, especially with Jessica's parents siding with their daughter when their daughter proceed to blame Harper and say that Harper attacked them. (While using incorrect pronouns for them.) It wasn't long before Harper wrote down about what happened and wrote to the principal with a note telling them to check the security cameras. The principal agreed and saw the entire fight going down before declaring that Jessica was the one who started it. After that, the principal had decided to punish Jessica with suspension while Harper only got detention. Jessica at first, objected before being threatened with expulsion if this keeps up. She was forced to comply, before apologizing to Harper along with her parents. (Though a bit more, grudgingly.)

-After the incident, Harper got apologies from Jessica's goons (After they got punished for their actions towards them.) And they apologized for bullying Harper. Harper forgave them, but they will NEVER forget on what they did to them.

-Harper often visited their grandfather's grave with flowers while apologizing for not being able to be with him in his last moments.
