(Sorry for the clickbait title, but I need something to get everyone's attention.)

So, as a lot of you may know, Dragon Ball Super THE ANIME has been confirmed to be ending (or go on hiatus) March 24th (or 25th depending on where you live) with episode 131. This has been confirmed by a Japanese newspaper. 

As shown in Herms98's tweet, Super's slot on Fuji TV will be taken up by another classic Gegege no Kitaro. However, people on the internet are blowing this out proportion. Dragon Ball as a whole is not ending. Plus, Toyotaro nor Bird Studios nor Shueisha has said anything about the Dragon Ball Super manga ending. What Toei is most likely doing is they saw what happened when they were animating Super, One Piece, and one of the One Piece movies at the same time and saw the backlash they got for the poor animation during the Resurrection of F Saga, so they are deciding to take a hiatus to spend all their effort on the new CANON Dragon Ball movie. This would also allow the dub and manga to catch fairly quickly to the anime. If Toei is taking this route, then I'd expect Super (or some other variation of Dragon Ball) to return to television by April of 2019 at the earliest. Most likely the week of April 26 which would mark the 30th anniversary since the premiere of the first episode of Z. 

Dragon Ball as a franchise isn't ending. The franchise has made in Japan alone 40 BILLION YEN (that's over $360 MILLION; this is without the global sales). With the series making this much money, Shueisha and Toei would never end Dragon Ball until it stops making money. People are just making a big deal out of nothing. The manga is still here, the games are still here, the dub, the Dragon Ball Room, etc. Dragon Ball is not ending. If anything, it'll become like the old Star Wars EU (especially if the Dragon Ball Room is utilized correctly).

So, Dragon Ball is NOT ending. Not at all. Please, if you see anyone who is upset that Dragon Ball is "ending" show them this post.
