After Ann died, he kept his promise to Ann and protect Annie. But Bradford didn't want her to get in the way.

On the day, Ann died, Annie hatched from her egg.

F. O. W. L had arrange a funeral for Ann, he was Annie in his arms, as he watched Ann's coffin buried in the ground, he looked down to see Annie smiling at him.

She had white feathers and a patch for red hair and a red bow.

Baby Annie: (giggles)

He smiles back. And over time as he watched her, black heron and Bradford were getting impatient with Annie.

Baby Annie: (crying)

Annie was in a carriage on a desk, black heron was get annoyed by her crying, she covered her ears.

Black heron: WILL YOU PLEASE SHUT THAT THING UP

steelbeak walked in, picked her up and held her closely.

Steelbeak: YOU LEAVE HER ALONE, SHE'S JUST ONLY A BABY

he looks back at her and cooks her down.

Baby Annie: (cooing)

Bradford walked in and saw their fight.

Black heron: steelbeak, you need to get rid of it, we simply can't have a baby interfering with our missions.

Steelbeak: NO!

he pulls her closer to his chest

Steelbeak: I already lost Ann, I won't lose Annie too.

Bradford: steelbeak I know you want to protect her, like you wanted to with Annie but black heron is right, you can't keep little Annie her, she could grow up watching you and follow in Ann's footsteps and what then she probably want to be a spy too and get hurt, do you want that too, to lose Annie like you did with Ann.

He thought for a minute, looked down at Annie as she smiled at him, reminded himself of Ann, then looked down sorrowful, Bradford puts his hand on his shoulders.

Bradford: steelbeak I know it's going to be hard for you but it's what's best for Annie, Ann would've want  you to do.

He looked back at Annie and finally agreed.

Steelbeak: (sigh) okay

Bradford: good boy, know why don't you just hand me her and I'll give her a good home

He reaches over and tries to take Annie, but steelbeak gets up and pulls her away.

Steelbeak: no, I'll do it, I'll take her somewhere where she can be very safe

He walks off through the doors, Bradford was angry that he didn't get Annie.

Bradford: (grunts)

In truth he wanted to use Annie.

Black heron: well that's just great, now how are we going to get her.

Bradford: don't worry black heron, I'll get her soon.

Steelbeak drove him and Ann, he put her in the front seat, he looks down at her and smiles.

Steelbeak: well we're here

He took her to an orphanage where a loving family would take her in.

He got out of the car and looked up at the sign that says storks delivery orphanage

He picked up Annie.

The song you are the reason stars to play as he walks up the stairs while looking at Annie.

There goes my hands shaking

As he goes inside, he gets greeted by a nursing stork that was sitting behind a desk and working on a computer

Stork: oh hello there may I help you

And if I could turn back the clock
I'd make sure the light defeated the dark

Steelbeak: yes

He looks down at Annie.

Steelbeak: I want you to give this poor little angel a good home

The stork comes around the desk and reaches over to grab Annie, as he tries to hand Annie over, he saw the way Annie looked at him

She was smiling at him and then he broke.

He pulls her away and holds her closer to him.

Steelbeak: (sobs) don't give me that look, I don't wanna do this either but I don't wanna lose you too like I did with your mom (sobbing)

He then Started to cry, he dropped his knees to the ground and tears fell from him as he puts his head against hers.

It hard for him to let go but when he looked up, he felt Annie grabbing his beak, she was smiling at him and he remembered who he was doing this for.

Baby Annie: (cooing) ooh (giggles)

He then smiled and hugged her tightly, rubbing her head gently, she smiled again and grabbed his feathers, he felt someone grabbing his shoulders, he turns around and sees that it was the nursing stork, she gave him a sincere smile.

Stork: don't worry, we'll take very good care of her

He slowly pulled her away from the hug, and hands Annie to the stork.

Baby Annie grabs one of his fingers, and he slowly lets her go, he reaches into his pocket and pulls out a golden heart-shape locket with a picture of him and Ann holding an egg.

Steelbeak: don't tell her anything about her dad but teller that her family loved her very much

He gives her the locket, she takes it.

Baby Annie: ah-ah

He bends down, goes to her face and presses his head against her forehead.

Steelbeak: I'll come back for you again soon

He kisses her forehead and walks out through the doors, the stork caries her, and as steelbeak reaches for the door, he looks back tears continue to fall again and saw Annie smiling at him.

Baby Annie: (giggling)

He smiles, waves bye and goes outside to his car.

Just to be with you

He looks back at the orphanage and smiles again

And fix what I've broken

He starts his car and as he was about to drove off, he looks in his hands and looks at her red bow that he took, to remind him what he had something very special.

He buried his face in it and drives off

Will he ever see her again and forgive himself for what happened to Ann, and what will Bradford do when he gets his hands on Annie.
