"Hurry up Anisa or you'll evolve without them!" Dash shouted by the entrance of Shella's den.

The little Rockruff walked out of the den, her head slopped to one side, stopping now and then to rub the sleep out of her eyes. "Where's mum?" She asked the older Lycanroc.
"She's waiting for you at Sunlight Rock, like every year during this time..." Dash explained, knowing Anisa should already know the rountie since it happens every year.

Only it's different since it's her turn this time round.

"Why is it called Sunlight Rock again?" Anisa scratched behind her ear, distracting herself of the situation at hand.
"Like I've said many years before, it's because that's where the sunlight fully shine's so it's the rightful place for Midday Lycanrocs! Now let's get a move on already!" He growled, telling the Lycanroc to be the same thing she asked every year.

Over and over again, it annoys the hell out or him, wanting to claw his own fur out.

"Okay, okay I'm coming, calm down Mr. Fuzzball..." Anisa muttered. She yawned, ignoring the glare and walked on, her thoughts still causing a shiver down her spin. She didn't want to think, to let the pressure get to her about what can happen this day.

We've always feared the unknown, Midnights have always been like the unknown, just like the outside world. Would they be afraid of Amara and her shiny white coat?

I...I don't want to be feared by my own pack...

"It is once again, another year where our children will be able to grow and bring more power to our pack! They will have great futures ahead of them." Bodolf stood at the top of Sunlight Rock, looking down on his fellow Lycanrocs and Rockruff as the sunlight put him in spotlight, shouting out to them all.
Shella and her mother, Athena, stood just beside him, covering their ears from the Alpha's loud words as he basically howled them out. Dash kept his mind at ease next to Anisa, letting the pup sit quietly next to him with only a couple of glances still set upon his scar.

"Now, you children are our new, bright future! But we will still guide you, along with the light of our ancestors!" Athena spoke, biting her tongue to stop any forbidden words spilling out.

That will only cause trouble.

"You ready Anisa?!" Andrew came dashing out of the little crowd, wagging his tail and jumping for joy, causing Anisa to giggle at his little victory party.

The sun was now at its very peak, shining it's glory down of the pack, Anisa watched as light flashed around from her fellow Rockruff, along with Andrew beside her, as they started to grow in size, their bodies changing shape in similar ways yet still having their own unique features.
Her paws started to shiver, thoughts ran wide like a pack of Mankey inside her mind.
Why isn't she glowing? Why is nothing happening?

Why aren't I evolving?!

Her mind was screaming, throwing questions all over the place while her fear increased, the angry glares coming from Dash and Boldof weren't helping at all as they teared right through her. Anisa was the only Rockruff (except from the younger ones standing with their perants by the rock) left, now being surrounded by more Midday Lycanrocs, along with Andrew (who still had his noticeable spiky hair sticking up).

Anisa was frozen, panicking as everyone glanced her way with suspicion and slight worry. Boldof dropped from the rock, Shella and Athena following his footsteps while walking over through the new Middays to the three.
"Andrew, go join the others, I need a word with my granddaughter." Bodolf ordered. The young Lycanroc nodded before dashing over to the new Lycanrocs, throwing a worried glance over his sholder now and then.

Bodolf's focused back on Anisa, still eyeing her down like he was trying to make her sink into the ground. "Dad, I'm sure she's just a b-", "I don't want to hear it Shella, I knew from the beginning that your daughter would be trouble...but I was foolish to think otherwise..." Athena shook her head, giving sorrowful glances to her favourite pup, knowing that there's no such thing as being "late" evolving.

Bodolf faced his pack, his jaw gritting a bit, "you are foolish for what you did Shella..." he muttered, staring ahead of him.
"We all shall wait till Anisa evolves, from there we will decide what to do with her!" He announced. Anisa covered her ears, glancing at the bushes not far off from were she was sitting.

A yellow flower and blue eyes could be seen poking out, not fully noticeable to others. Amara sensed Anisa staring at her, the white fox smiled to try and ease her friend's sign of distress, slightly waving.

"Anisa, don't worry dear, I'll try my best to make sure things go right." Shella whispered.

The field was quiet, the pack resting on small rocks for comfort as they waited. Anisa still couldn't stop panicking, her paws and ear still twitching as her heart raced faster and faster as the sun started to lower.

The old but wise Athena, slightly ruffled the pup's fur, only giving her a worried glace when Anisa didn't react at all. Useally the pup would of already jumped up by now and tried to pin her down in a little play fight but Athena this new behaviour wasn't normal at all.
"Mum...please stop Father if he ends up going to that decision..." Shella begged, not looking her in the eye.

"I will try my best dear, but I can't promise anything..." Athena kept her eyes on the sun, slowly turning into a more orange colour than it's bright yellow lighting.
A green flash caught her eye as it shimmed across the sun.

A Green Flash Sunset, it's been years since I've seen one of them.

The wise Lycanroc sighed, remembering when she was just a young Lycanroc as she watched the sunset with her mate.

Oh the good old t-

Everyone bolted up in an instant, seeing Anisa embraced by light as she started to change in shape and grow in size. It was confusing, the light vanished and what stood was something they've never seen before. Anisa's new coat took an orange colour like the very same sunset, her neck fur travelled up the back of her neck until it spilled over her face, covering one of her forest green eyes, yet she still had the very same body structure of a normal Midday Lycanroc, her stones pointing out of her neck fur.

They didn't know...what this thing was. Anisa looked at the confusion and fear in the eyes around her, including her very own grandfather and Alpha.

"Anisa...what is..." Shella drifted off, she was...astounded.

You...you look like both of us...as one.

But, it's the fear...the fear of the unknown...
