Dear the boy who got let off,

That's great news, Harry! I'm so happy for you, of course I hoped this would be the case because the Ministry never really had a case against you. This Fudge sounds like a right git. Why was he trying so hard to get you expelled? Surely as the Minister he should have your best interests at heart?

I'm glad Dumbledore turned up to help you. He seems like he's the hero of the wizarding world because his name keeps popping up everywhere ever since I met you.

As for what happened, maybe he didn't hear you? I mean I know I wasn't there or anything but I've seen Dumbledore's picture and he's not very young so maybe he simply didn't hear you? I wouldn't worry about it, Harry.

As for you feeling like he's been avoiding you, I can't be sure. I mean obviously something strange must be happening for you to feel that way. I just don't know. Maybe try talking to him while you're at school? Or see if anyone knows if he's busy or something? If the wizarding world is in peril and he's the headmaster of Hogwarts, he's probably busy making sure everything's ready for when you all go back. Again, try not to worry about it though, you have enough on your plate.

I'm sorry Harry, but even if the apocalypse was happening and the Dursleys was the only safe place left on earth, I wouldn't go there. The Dursleys are vile, I can't stand them. Not one bit. And I'm sure they feel the same about me. I saw Petunia the other day at the supermarket and she got so offended by my hair colour and oversized hoodie that she turned right around and left again. They are a bunch of stuck up snobs and I'm sorry you have to put up with them.

Speaking of Ron and Hermione, that reminds me. I haven't had any little notes from Ron recently. Is everything alright? I quite miss them.

That's just sad. I can't believe Squibs are ashamed of who they are. They might not be able to preform magic but that doesn't mean they are any less capable of leading incredible lives.

See, that's probably my main reason why I would hate to have a large family. I hate busyness. I can take it in small doses but to have it all the time would just get on my nerves.

Hermione lied!? For you and Ron? Are you sure we are on about the same person? Every time you've spoken about Hermione, you've always said how she hates breaking the rules. I mean even in the letter she wrote me, she seemed like a goody-two-shoes. I don't doubt what you're saying, Harry but it is hard to believe. I think I've just gained a new found respect for Hermione.

There are people who can change their appearance at will?! Is there anything you don't have in the wizarding world?

Well, you said that Gryffindor was for the brave and courageous, right? Well, first of all you saved my life not long ago and you have this whole boy who lived legacy to live up too. So I stand by what I said, of course you're in Gryffindor house. Honestly I would be worried if you were in any other house.

Don't apologise. It's not your fault you can't make it anymore. Besides you're not the only one glad that the meal isn't happening anymore, I wasn't mentally prepared for it either. Like you said, at least we've both got the whole year to prepare ourselves and I've got a whole year to remind my parents that if they say one embarrassing thing about me, I'm moving out, moving country and changing my name.

As much as I love you for going along with the plan and sneaking me in to Hogwarts if it were under different circumstances and not amidst a war, there is a slight flaw in the plan. If we were successful, what the hell would we do then? I'm pretty sure all your teachers would notice if a new student suddenly joined your year group and had no idea about magic.

Wow, my lessons suddenly seem so shit and boring compared to that. We have English, science and maths while you have Defence Against the Darks Arts, Transfiguration and Potions.

Nothing excuses what Peter did but people can do terrible things when they are influenced by fear or power. But like you and Snuffles said, I would honestly rather die then know I had been the cause of my best friends deaths.

I see that Snuffles is just as sarcastic and insufferable as you are. Well you can tell Snuffles this; how could I possibly be starstruck by someone who was described as 'deranged and possibly unhinged.' Not to mention the fact that he looked like he just came back from a year's experience of living with rabid animals in the wild. So no, sorry Snuffles but I most certainly wasn't or isn't starstruck.

Love,

the girl who wishes she was at Hogwarts.

(Double update because you are all just so lovely! Thank you for all the nice comments in the last chapter. I love and appreciate you all.)
