• Synopsis on the back of the book instead of quotes from other people who have read it and thought it was "compulsively readable" or "full of heart". Please. I really really don't care what the New York Times or John Green or Gregory Maguire thought of it. Just... just tell me what the book is about. Please, I'm begging you, I can't go off of a title, cover, and random adjectives from authors I barely know.

• Table of contents. Sometimes a girl just wants to reread certain chapters and relive specific moments but she has to spend FOREVER searching the entire book to find it. Why are the page numbers of chapter suddenly such top secret knowledge that you can't know until you make it there? Just tell me what page chapter thirteen is on and how long chapter twenty six is from the very beginning, you cowards

• SPEAKING OF CHAPTERS, what ever happened to chapter titles? I want for chapters to have names instead of numbers again. (That's a lie, I want both but the point still stands.) Give me chapter titles that make no sense when you see it in the table of contents (THAT I WANT) but by the time you make it to that chapter, everything makes sense and you almost scream. Give me chapter titles that come from something really sweet a character said earlier on that suddenly gets a dark and tragic twist later on. Just gIVE ME CHAPTER TITLES.
