"Avu I heard that you decided to quit your job. Is it true?" Anu asked sadly. "Yes Anu, I don't want to work there anymore" Avu frustrated. "Avu, I left the job without any notice. If you too decided the same then what Rii will do. More than that you're his best friend. Be will be broken. Don't make him worried, please continue your job" Anu requested.

"How can you talk like this Anu, he was the one who never valued you. He ist fault. Don't he want to realise his mistake?" Avu was annoyed.

"Mistake is mine Avu. As a boss. What he did was 100%right. So please don't make this as an issue and continue with your work, please. Take this as my request" she pleaded her again.

"OK, don't request me. I'll continue my job not for him but for you" Avu agreed with a smile and entered in to the kitchen to bring her refreshments.

Meanwhile, Sid entered the home. Anu smiled seeing him. He smiled back cheerfully, "please sit, Anu" he signed. She smiled as response.

"What is your next plan Anu?" He started casually. "I haven't decided yet sir" she replied. "Look Anu, I'm seeing you like my sister. So make me a stranger by this sir" he requested. "OK bro" she replied with smile.

"And I too thought something. If you don't mind, can join my company?" He asked casually making her shock. "Sir.. Soo.. Sorry.. bhai are you serious?" She asked with wide eyes.

"Yes Anu, I was looking for some young talents when I heard you left the job. I thought go utilize you to my project. Are you interested?" He asked.

"It was my dream to work in your company but I don't think it will be good to work there" she replied with confusion. "What's stopping you Anu?" He enquires with care.

"I'm a friend of your wife, so you are considering me but there are several talented people waiting for that opportunity. So that's making me feel guilty" she said nervously.

"Look Anu, I'm not asking you because you're Avu's friend but I have gone through your work in your last project. I was impressed and I thought I would have someone like you in my project. Take your time, think about it" he left the place with smile.

Avu noticed everything, she felt what he did was correct. So she didn't interferred in that conversation and smiled thinking about his presence of mind.

She reached Anu once he let and handed over the coffee cup. "Don't think too much Anu, and make your career strong" Avu said pressing her palms. Anu nodded as response.

"You shouldn't have shouted like that Rii" Ashi was worried. "But her attitude made me lost my patience" Ashi he replied. "I think she is in love with you" Ashi said what she felt.

"What?!" Rii was shocked. "Yes Rii, I have noticed her several times and yesterday I confirmed that she is madly in love with you" she assured.

"What's all this? How she has fallen for me. If that's true, it's better she resigned her job" he stared somewhere. "Why are behaving like this Rii. You denied all the proposes you got during our college days. Now a girl loving you this much but you're feeling happy that she left.

Why are you behaving like this? Will you be single for your entire life?" She frowned.

"Leave this topic, Ashi. Better don't talk about this" he tried to move. "Yeah, what will you say? You will reply you realised what true love is? But you never felt love near you. It's my fault to expect your reply.

How do you know what love is? WTF least once you should experienced true love but it never happened" she murmured.

"Stop it Ashi. What do you know about me? Love?? What you said?? Love? I too loved a girl, I too has feelings not at the end I was the one who was left broke. After that I never thought about this love" Rii said bitterly.

"What? You loved a girl? But you never said this before. Then tell me who is the girl? Why you broke up with her?" She asked continuously.

Rii took a deep breath, "I loved her from my school days. When everyone left me alone, she came to me and consoled me. She was with me everytime. In my success and in my failure too. I loved her so deeply but when my dad got transferred, I left her. My life went as such.

I never saw her even once I left the place but I remember the day. It was a rainy day. I saw a girl crossing the road by taking baby steps, my heart said it was her. With that hope, I walked towards her. Before I saw something, she remembered me. Her bright smile made me understood that she remembers me.

After that our friendship continued. She never hurt me, everytime she will treat me as her best friend and she don't know what I had feelings for her.

One fine day, I decided to propose her. I took all me courage to confess my feelings for her, I went know search of her and found her in garden and reached near her with hundreds of dream.

I strongly decided to propose her that day. She sat on a bench facing another side. I called her, she turned and I was shocked seeing her crying. "What happened?" I asked with concern. "Nothing" she wiped her tears. Don't hide anything. Tell me what happened? I asked her firmly.

"If you love someone truly, then you too will face this pain" she replied which made me more confused. "What?" I asked with confusion. She took a deep breath. "I never said this to any of our friends, first time I'm telling this to you. I lo someone, I love him from the moment I saw him four years ago and that is the reason I'm crying now" she said which breaks my heart into billion piece.

I looked at her controlling my tears and asked what exactly happened. She detailed her four years love story, I understood how much she love that guy.

"Nobody can hate you and don't worry he himself will confess his feelings" I consoled her with a small smile. She was not in that state to listen but I tried my best to console her that day and left the place.

At that time I became fearless because I felt like nothing could be worse than that feeling anymore. I felt like the pain eating up mind up inside. My heart was broken into million pieces. I cried the whole night and next morning I decided to help her to get her love.

I felt like making her happy was my only responsibility and I decided to so anything to make her happy. I did what I decided and made her happy. Finally she married the guy she loved the most" Rii said with tears.

"What?? Who's the girl?" Ashi asked with shock. "Avu!" He replied making her more shock. ( Tarasidneet, kairasidneet, PoojaJadhav568, Carbies and priyaofficial you guys were correct. Congratulations 😂❤🎊)

"Avu??!!" She was shocked like hell. "Did she know about this?" She asked worriedly. "No, she doesn't know anything but Sid know everything. I didn't get the girl I loved but I got a best friend for my life" he sighed taking a deep breath.

"Rii, I don't know what to say. But you have to accept the reality. And you know what, what you had for her was not love. It's a deep affection.

If you loved a girl truly, you can't see her with someone else. Even though she love someone else but your heart will not accept the fact, If you're too good like heroes of out old movies. You made her get success in her life, as soon as you will leave her life til. You will not see her living with someone else.

If you're happy seeing her life then it's affection how have on her. Usually love will not come for a reason. She cared for you when no one was with you, so you liked her and since you didn't meet the girl who truly meant for you in those years, you thought your affection on her was love.

Now you're cheating yourself that love doesn't exist and forcing yourself to stay away from love. You're not seeing the love and wearing a mask to cheat yourself and others too" she finished what she felt.

"I don't know Ashi but I too have some responsibilities which is more important than this love and other stuffs. I can't think about anything else now" he said with a hidden emotion.

"Whatever Rii, you're my best friend and I want your life to be a happy one. That's my only wish" she said what she felt. "And Ashi, let this be within ourselves" he requested. She nodded as response and left the place.

He stared the dark sky, several thoughts flashed in his mind and at the end it was filled with frustration and frown.
