"Remind me again, sister, why you hate him so much," Tikki says.

    "He refuses to admit he put the gum on my seat back in high school. It was a cruel spiteful thing to do and that is all he is anyway. He is a heartless human being," Marinette scoffs.

    "Marinette, you know he did not put it there, right?" Tikki asks.

   "Yes, so what? He knows who did it and guards the bully even to this day," Marinette retorts.

   "You can not hold a grudge against him forever though," Tikki says.

   "I can not believe you defend him like this," Marinette says angrily.

  "I just think if you gave him a chance you two could be great friends," Tikki says.

    "Forget it Tikki, Agreste and I will never be friends!" Marinette says. She can not believe her sister sometimes.

    "Well, that is a shame," Tikki says.

  "Good grief, why do you be his friend if you care so much about that jerk?" Marinette scoffs.

     Marinette rolls her eyes at the very idea of ever being friends with rich, boy, Adrien Agreste. She thinks no way, she will never do it.  Not even if her life depended on it.

     Marinette's Flashback to the past...

    " Just admit it already, you put the gum on my seat!" Marinette yells.

  "I did not,'' Adrien scoffs.

   "Oh, yeah then who did Agreste?" Marinette says furious with him.

  "I can not tell you that Marinette," Adrien says.

  "Oh, then you can forget it.  I rather die than take your umbrella, Agreste!  You are nothing, but a spoiled rich kid, with popularity, who thinks he can have whatever he wants.  Will get this, you and I will never be friends!" Marinette blurts out and walks away.

  End of her Flashback...

     Marinette does not know Adrien watched her leave or that he felt heartbroken at her words. She does not know he fell in love with her but had to hate her because she hurt him.

  Marinette can not stand Adrien and that is all there is to it. She finishes getting her things ready for college and is glad that for once he will not be in her class. This makes it easier to avoid him, which for her is a plus in life for once.
