The bright light makes SeongWu dizzy for a while. Until everything becomes clear, he find himself sitting in strange room.

The room is quite big with a lot of bookshelves. It almost look like a small library. Furnitures are all made by wood. A whole room is covered in a dark-brown color which feel really warm and comfortabl. However, SeongWu feels something strange. All of the furnitures are in Victorian style with many delicate details. SeongWu looks down to his hand. He is holding a quill pen, next to him is a small table with an inkwell on it. Seem likes he is writing something in the book which lying on his lap. He regconize this book. It's s strange book he found in the library, but it's look much newer.

SeongWu still can't understand what exactly going on. The door suddenly opened. It's Daniel.

"You overslept again? I already told you not to work that late."

"I just wanted to note down something."

What?!?

SeongWu getting more and more confused. It's his own voice, coming from his own mouth, but he didn't want to say anything. As if someone is taking control over his body.

"Your hairs are all messed up again."

Daniel laughing while stroking SeongWu's hairs.

This man... is really Niel?

SeongWu can't get it at all. The man standing in front of him is really Daniel he knew? Why have SeongWu never seen he laughing so carefree like that?

Daniel always stay by his side and protect him no matter what. Althought they always happy just by staying by each other's side, but SeongWu has never seen Daniel smile so bright, so childlike, so naïve like this.

"What so funny? It's just some tangle hairs."

Again!

This time, it not just his voice, but SeongWu's body even move by itself.

He stands up and walks to mirror which is hanging in the corner of the room. But he can see his reflection. He can't see anything in the mirror. A whole room full of furnitures, but he can see nothing reflected in the mirror.

Suddenly, a pair of hand reaches out and cover his eyes.

"Don't look!"

It's still SeongWu's voice, but it coming from behind him.

SeongWu can feels a warm breath from behind. There's clearly someone standing behind him.

"Stop looking!"

"Go back!"

Back?

Back to where?

The ground under SeongWu disappears and he immediately fall into the empty space below.

"A!"

SeongWu wakes up in shock.

He is lying in that small room again.

"This..."

"SeongWu! You woke up?!"

Grandpa is sitting next to him. There're the chief and some other villagers.

"Grandpa..."

SeongWu still confusing. All of those things that he saw. It felt too real. Was it just a dream or...

"SeongWu, are you ok?" – his grandpa really worry.

"SeongWu-ssi, what was wrong with you? You suddenly went numb and then... you and Daniel-ssi..."

The asmostphere becomes too awkward, Jae Woo can't finish his words. Some elderlies also feel awkward talking about it.

"SeongWu, it was because you were possessed by that soul, wasn't it?" – grandpa asks.

"No... it wasn't..." – SeongWu looks at his grandpa with his tiring eyes – "I was concious... at that time..."

He was concious. But he just couldn't control his body, just like in that dream.

No!

It's not!

At that moment, SeongWu was really want to...

"Grandpa, I'm really tired..."

"Ah... I just worry that you might get hurt, but you're fine now. It's already late, you should take some rest."

Grandpa gently pats on SeongWu's head and then, he leaves with the others.

In fact, that dream makes SeongWu a bit scared to sleep but his body is very exhausted and he just gradually falls asleep.

.

.

The quiet morning is ripped apart by a loud scream.

SeongWu is woke by that terrible sound. It was coming from behind the chief's house, very close to his room.

He immediately rushes out but unexpectedly bump into Daniel who is standing outside.

"Niel?"

Thinking about the incident last night and that weird dream, SeongWu feels a bit nervous but Daniel still acting like nothing happened.

"You awake?"

"You... why didn't you sleep inside?"

"This room is too small. It's just enough for you alone."

"Ah..."

The noise draws SeongWu back to reality. He hurrily goes to the back of the house. Daniel also follows him.

Almost all of the villagers are gathering near the well. Jae Woo makes way for SeongWu to get close.

"SeongWu-ssi, something happened!"

There's a body lying facedown, motionless next to the well. Everyone want to find out whose body is it but no one dare to touch it.

"Dad?" – Dae Hyun panicked as he steps out – "Had anyone see my dad?"

Dae Hyun asks around but no one seem to knows where his dad gone. But, seem likes everyone also has a same thought about the body which lying there.

"It can't be..."

SeongWu steps forward and turns the body over. It really is Dae Hyun's dad. His skin already turned purple pale. His hands grabs tightly on his chest. Both his mouth and his eyes are widened in completely horror. His face is so twisted that it almost hard to regconize.

"Dad!!!"

Dae Hyun pushes SeongWu aside and dashes to his dad's corpse. Daniel hold SeongWu in his arms so he won't fall.

Dae Hyun can't believe that his dad is dead. Although his corpse was already cold and stiff but Dae Hyun keeps shaking him non-stop, as if he still hoping that he can wake him up. He keep screaming and crying. Jae Woo and other villagers has to stop Dae Hyun and separate him with the corpse.

"Maybe he had a heart attack." – the chief say.

"Heart attack?"

"His heart was very weak. Maybe it was his time to gone." – the chief sigh as he say – "I told him so many times before, he shouldn't work too hard with a weak heart like that. But he even went out at night just to get some water."

It's true that there is a wooden barrel lying next to his corpse. Seem likes it was just as the chief said, he got a heart attack because of hard-working. There are too many old people in this village and everyone just want this to be over soon. They agree with the chief without any questions.

SeongWu doesn't say anything, carefully check the corpse. He slightly touches the corpse. An image of a young girl dashing in front of his eyes. SeongWu starled.

"What's the matter?"

"No... it's just..."

Even it's just an image, but that girl's emotion was too strong. In an instant, SeongWu felt like he can't take it.

"SeongWu-ssi." – the chief speak to him – "Can I take his corpse inside? I can't just let him lying around like this. And we also need to prepare for the funeral."

"Well..."

In paranormal cases like this, there's no need to maintain the scene. Moreover, SeongWu can't also leave an old man's corpse outside like this all day
