When Rainbow Dash got home from school the next day, she immediately went through her things and got her phone out. She decided to catch the thief herself.

Rainbow: Time to see who you are and what your game is!

She looked around town for a cloaked figure, when she spotted them, she quickly followed them, she hid and managed to get a picture before they got away. But she couldn't make out their face, that was barely any proof.

Rainbow: That's nothing.

She continued following the figure until she reached an alleyway, she saw them meet with some guy, but she couldn't tell who it was. She recorded the conversation.

?: I have the locket, she almost caught me, but I got away.

?: Perfect, she has no idea what special powers this locket has, we'll be able to take over all of this world and Equestria with this power.

Rainbow: What are they talking about?

She sent the conversation to her friends, not even they heard of anything like this. They all started texting each other.

Sunset: That has to be Equestrian magic they're talking about.

Fluttershy: That's so scary 🥺

Twilight: Who is that behind the mask?

Rainbow: I don't know.

Pinkie: There's a thief going around?!

Rainbow Dash suddenly saw the cloaked figure run off and unknowingly drop the locket. Without hesitation, she took it back and put it on. She hurried home to confront her dad.

Dad: Back so soon, Rainbow?

Rainbow: Dad, I need to ask you something...about Mom's locket.

Dad: What about it?

Rainbow: Well, you know that I have magic right? My speed?

Dad: Yeah, why?

Rainbow: Well, is this locket magical?

Rainbow's dad looked just as confused as she did.

Dad: No...? Not that I know of, why?

Rainbow: N-Nevermind, just wondering.

She went upstairs to her room and gazed at the locket, there didn't seem to be anything magical about it. Maybe they were lying?

Rainbow: What's so magical about this? I know this is something important Mom gave me, but what about it?

But when Rainbow Dash opened to locket, she suddenly blacked out.
