Twilight: Rainbow, what's wrong?

Rainbow Dash tossed the picture and ran home. She hugged her dad crying.

Dad: Rainbow, what's wrong?!

Rainbow: Dad, it's terrible! I know who the thief is, and Mom was right! It did break my heart!

Dad: What? Who?

Rainbow Dash took some time to calm down.

Rainbow: *sniffles* Dad...I need the truth, why's my family falling apart? What happened?

She did have a point, she didn't know her mom, and she never really learned about what happened. Her dad sighed and pulled her aside.

Dad: If you really wanna know, I'll tell you everything.

Rainbow Dash listened to everything her dad had to say.

Dad: You see, when you were born, I was thrilled, but your mom didn't make it, she died shortly after you were born. And well, I did have a daughter from my first marriage, but I haven't seen her since you were born, I just know that she was very unhappy when your mom died.

Rainbow Dash looked down at the ground

Rainbow: I remember her face, but that's it.

Dad: Star was 18 when you were born, so she left after you born, she was mad at you even though it's not your fault your mom died. She said she didn't want to see us again, and that was the last I saw of her.

Rainbow Dash looked down, her tears welling up in her eyes.

Dad: I'm sorry, Rainbow, but you have such a beautiful life, why's this so important to you?

Rainbow Dash sighed and covered her face.

Rainbow: The thief is my sister...
