Okay, I'm prepared to face all the hate for this chapter because quite frankly, this is just my personal opinion.

I wouldn't ship the Equestria Girls together. There are books on Wattpad about smut between these girls, smut between ponies, which is just wrong, and books about mature, dark things like r*pe and su*cide, which I've censored just because they're so sensitive topics. 

Listen, I know I'm one to talk, considering I did have a sex scene in my own Equestria Girls fan fiction, but in my opinion, that wasn't really a smut scene because I didn't depict anything actually sexual. There are lemon books. You can go read lemon books if that's what you're into, but come on! This is a kid's cartoon!

I grew up with this cartoon, and as a teen now, yes, I like it to be a bit more mature, considering they're in high school, but don't pervert it! Now, whenever I glance back at my childhood, which was supposed to be the purest time, I SEE THE SEX SCENES AND THE DARKNESS OF FANFICTIONS. Literally, they're the reason I've stopped looking for MLP fan fictions because of how perverted and gross they can be, especially talking about a kid's show.

And I get it: People think Rainbow Dash is the pride flag. I don't. Uhm, this is the part I was scared to talk about, but it really makes me slightly annoyed when people say that because this, again, is a kid's show. I'm not being homophobic, but this is a kid's show, where they're experimenting with different colors, and, generally, rainbows were popular at the time her character was made.

Sure, people can interpret it this way, but I'm 100% sure Hasbro did not mean for Rainbow Dash to suddenly be a lesbian icon. And I value the simplicity of child shows, and when I was a child, watching Rainbow Dash, I didn't even know what LGBTQ+ was! Of course, I know now, and I respect it, but seriously? I just, don't. Don't do that to a kid's show. Especially one like MLP.

MLP is supposed to be about FRIENDSHIP, not smutship, relationships, whatever! FRIENDSHIP. That's literally in the title. And it's about the traits and spirits that each of these ponies represent. Rainbow Dash does not represent the pride flag. SHE REPRESENTS LOYALTY AND BRAVERY. The show is a simple representation of all six elements working together to create a strong friendship and teaching kids about friendship. NOT. TO TEACH. LGBTQ+ OR SEX.

And obviously, I'm not saying they leave all romance out. There are times when crushes happen, but they're not FULL-BLOWN LOVE AND SMUT AND SEX AND--that is just wrong to add to a kid's show.

Listen, think all you want, but I'm not letting the perverts out there ruin my favorite kid's show. Again, there's nothing wrong with some people wanting to believe Rainbow Dash can be their pride flag in some ways, but she doesn't automatically become a pride flag because she's rainbow. Rainbows were the biggest trend when I was kid. Just because something is rainbow doesn't mean it's a pride flag. In my opinion, that takes it a bit too far.

So shipping: 

AppleDash? ABSOLUTELY NOT. I watch the AppleDash edits though, and I see it as a FRIENDSHIP, which is endearing to watch because they're hilarious as fuck. They're really good friends and friends can be competitive. THERE IS NOTHING SEXUAL ABOUT BEING COMPETITIVE.

FlutterDash? NO. Again, they're really nice together as friends, because they have the dynamic duo of being shy and bold, which is endearing to watch and very cute. But it's a FRIENDSHIP. They're BEST FRIENDS.

PinkieDash? NO. NO. NO. See, I agree they're really funny. They're my favorite comedy duo, always making pranks and having fun. AS FRIENDS. NO SEX. YOU KNOW? NO NUZZLING, NO KISSES, NO THIS, NO THAT. FRIENDS.

TwiDash? Okay, friendship or relationship, it's a harsh no. As friends, I feel they're not really good for each other, but they can definitely laugh about their differences. BUT NO. ROMANCE. NO. KISSES. NO SEX.

SunDash? FRIENDSHIP. FRIENDSHIP OML.

RariDash? I can't see this. I've always pictured them as FRIENDS. AGAIN. FRIENDS. But it's fun to write them this way because Dash is not that fond of beauty (at least she tries to act like that) and Rarity is a girlie girl, similar to me and my bestie. BUT FRIENDS. IF I'M CONNECTING MLP TO MY PERSONAL LIFE AND PERSONAL FRIENDSHIPS THAT JUST MAKES MY LIFE WEIRD.

SoarinDash? Of course. I love SoarinDash. THEY'RE NOT REALLY MEANT TO BE FRIENDS, YOU KNOW. Hasbro snuck in those hints subtly. And while I'm not gonna turn this into a full-on romance story for MLP, because, again, the focus is FRIENDSHIP, there are nice little flirty moments during Dash episodes.

And on the topic of Soarin and Spitfire, I recently read a fan fiction where apparently all three of them are fucking and dating? Sorry, this doesn't mean to be offensive, but... what is that? Sincerely, I have no clue what that's called, but I know for a fact that I will never see MLP the same and I blame Wattpad.

BECAUSE IT WAS SO SIMPLE. A KIDS SHOW. AND NOW I HAVE TO GO ON WITH THAT KNOWLEDGE THAT PEOPLE THINK OF IT SO PERVERTEDLY AND IT FREAKS ME OUT BECAUSE IT'S A FUCKING KIDS SHOW.

Please just let everyone stay friends. Literally, I'll give up shipping anyone in the entire show (I only shipped SoarinDash LOL).

Leave my fucking childhood ALONE.
