Last time Osamu arrived at the Yureimoto household and met Erma for the first time. Although Osamu is acting rather strange and Xander feels the need to keep an eye on the Patriarch of his Fiancé's family.

Xander, Osamu, and Werma made it to the garden within the Yureimoto house as they faced a rather large flower like plant. "So where is this throne room exactly? I don't remember there being one when I first came here." Xander said as he looked around the garden in slight confusion. Osamu let out a small chuckle at the question. "Yes, well it seems Ena's hobby of gardening has hidden it rather well. One moment." Osamu said before tapping his cane on the ground. Lines appeared in the ground as the ground started to shake. Suddenly a small building rose from out of the ground itself.

             "That was here the whole time?" Xander said as he pointed to the throne room in slight disbelief. "Yes, well we wouldn't want any unwanted guests breaking into such a sacred room now would we?" Osamu said as he gave Xander a sideways glance. "Yeah, I guess not. Most people just lock the door though." Xander said, which caused Osamu to let out a small chuckle. "Simple locks won't keep a Yokai out I'm afraid. Now, shall we go?" Osamu said as he carried Erma into the throne room while Xander watched him go. Xander had an uneasy look on his face as he still felt that something was off about this.
                Xander began running through what he's picked up on so far since Osamu arrived. "Osamu simply wanting to settle down from his usual lifestyle? While it certainly is possible, someone doesn't just change in an instant like that. I should keep my guard up for now." Xander thought to himself before he followed Osamu into the throne room. Despite trying to think things through however, Xander couldn't shake the terrible feeling something bad was going to happen before the parade is over. "Don't start panicking yet Xander, that won't do you any good." Xander thought to himself as he the throne room.

Inside the Throne Room
Xander entered the dimly lit room as he passed tapestries of powerful Yokai that lined the walls of the throne room. Xander spotted the two thrones in question as he saw Osamu and Erma at the foot of the staircase leading up to them.

"Gotta admit that this place is pretty impressive." Xander said as Osamu sat Erma down in her grandmother's throne before sitting in his own. "Yes, we would pass the time in this room as Yokai from all over would come to witness everything we achieved." Osamu reminisced on his past. "Sounds like things have changed quite a bit since then." Xander said as he could tell from the way Osamu said it, that no longer happened.
            Osamu let out a small sigh as he looked over the entire throne room with a thoughtful look on his face. "Those were different times, we were more unified back then. A time when Yokai could be Yokai." Osamu said as Xander mulled over what the patriarch of the Yureimoto family just said. "That's the way of the world isn't it? The more we want things to stay the same, the more things change." Xander said as a hint of irritation was in his tone as he was still angry about being forced to abandon Yori. Osamu let out a tired sigh at Xander's words.
             "That is the sad truth isn't it? I suppose there's no sense getting angry over the inevitable. For instance, your engagement to my daughter?" Osamu said in a calm tone as Xander flinched slightly before regaining his composure. "I shouldn't be surprised that you caught that. So is that why you invited me to join you? Going to vaporize next or something?" Xander asked as a half smile spread across his face. Osamu leaned back in his chair as he let out another tired sigh. Xander and Osamu never broke eye contact as this slight tension seemed to fill the room around them.
Erma watched her grandfather and uncle with a worried expression on her face. She really didn't want her family to fight and from the looks of it, that's what was about to happen. To both Xander and Erma's surprise, Osamu simply let out another tired sigh. "No, I believe that there's no reason for violence. You have returned and from what I can tell, Mitsu and Momo are happy to have you back in their lives." Osamu said as all the tension seemed to leave the room. Xander was surprised that went over well all things considered, but still didn't know if he could let his guard down around him yet.
              Their conversation was interrupted by one of the servants being tossed into the throne room by his fellow servants. The servant got back on his feet before quivering in fear while in the presence of the patriarch of the Yureimoto family. "M-My lord, do you require anything?" The servant asked in a barely composed voice as he didn't even make eye contact with the Tengu. "No I'm fine at the moment. Xander, Erma do either you require anything?" Osamu asked as he waited for either to speak. Erma shook her head no, so the servant turned his attention towards Xander, who was looking behind him.
              "I'm fine, although you might wanna get out of here. I believe someone would like some privacy." Xander said as the servant looked over his shoulder to see a tall shadowy figure standing behind him. The servant ran out of the room in fear as the figure stepped forward revealing herself.

"Hello, dear husband." The female Yokai said as she walked past Xander and up to the throne that Osamu sat on. "How was your trip Amaya?" Osamu asked as he gently kissed his wife's hand. "Long, some amateurs attempted to defeat me with my own magic. I swear they grow more foolish with every passing second." Amaya said with annoyance present in the tone of her voice.
             "That's one of the negatives of having a lot of power isn't it? There's always someone who wants to take you out." Amaya turned to look at Xander before walking up to him and looking him over. "Xander Aarons, I don't know what surprises me more. The fact you were foolish enough to return here, or the fact that you still somehow alive." Amaya said as she rubbed her chin with her hand. "Did you honestly expect not to see me again?" Xander fires back as he looked Amaya dead in the eyes. The two stared each other down for a moment before Amaya turned away and walked back up to her husband.
              "I suppose your correct in both regards, it does not change the fact that it gets rather tiresome." Amaya said as she gave Xander a sideways glance. "Seems like more trouble then it's worth, I mean if so random monster showed up every week and you had to fight it, I can only imagine how annoying that would start to get." Little did Xander know as he said that, a bathhouse worker in Tokyo sneezed at what might be a premonition of his future. Amaya simply stared at Xander for a moment before simply letting out an annoyed huff. "I suppose I do owe you some gratitude for giving me my granddaughters." Amaya said before she looked away from Xander with what he assumed was displeasure.
               Xander watched as Amaya began looking Erma over as he let his mind wonder again. "Was that supposed to be a thank you? I guess that's the best I'm gonna get out of her." Xander thought to himself as he watched the matriarch of the Yureimoto family study her granddaughter with much scrutiny. "This lady just has to analyze everyone doesn't she?" Xander thought to himself as he watched Amaya look Erma over like she was some kind of newly discovered animal. Amaya finally let go of Erma before turning to look at her husband.
            "Osamu, are you sure you didn't just shrink our daughter?" Amaya asked as she gave her husband an accusatory look. "Come now, your much better at that then I am. This truly is Emiko's daughter." Osamu said as he smiled at his wife. Amaya took another look at Erma before looking back at her husband. "I fail to see what you see in this child, personally I think Yori's daughters have more potential." Amaya said as she gave her husband a somewhat confused look. Their conversation was interrupted by the door to the throne room exploding as Emiko stood in the doorway with her hair swaying wildly.

"Oh, she snapped out of her stupor and she looks ready to murder someone or multiple people." Xander said as he turned to look at the enraged mother. "Erma! Are you okay?!" Emiko called out as her and Sam entered the throne room. Amaya walked up to her daughter as she seemed ready to start laying into her. Yori also entered the throne room along with the rest of the Yureimoto siblings entered the throne room. "Thank goodness your okay! Why would you go off on your own like that?!" Yori said as she slapped Xander on the shoulder in complete annoyance at her fiancé's actions.
           "Sorry, I just wanted to make sure your dad didn't try anything with Erma while all of you were completely stunned into doing nothing." Xander fires back, which earned him another slap to the shoulder from his fiancé. "Don't be a smart ass Xander! You actually scared me when I realized you left." Yori said as the worry was very apparent in the tone of her voice. Xander sighed before pulling his fiancé into a quick hug. "Sorry sweetheart, this whole thing has just been really weird." Xander admitted as he still doesn't know what's going on with Osamu.
Yori gave Xander a worried look, but she had to admit he was right. "I know, something is up with dad, but maybe it's nothing bad. I'm just glad he hasn't threatened your life." Yori said as she snuggled up to Xander. Xander then looked over at Emiko and Sam, who was still dealing with Amaya. "Should we give your sister a hand?" Xander asked as he could tell Emiko was not exactly thrilled to be dealing with her mother. "I'd rather avoid that mess, besides I think Fumiko will get things back on track soon." Yori said as she noticed her sister was currently talking with their father.
"Grandma!" Xander and Yori turned to see Mitsu and Momo hugging Amaya.

"Hello girls, have you been good? Keeping an eye on your cousin?" Amaya asked as a smile spread across her face. "Yeah, it's been fun. We gotta mess with some punks on a bridge!" Mitsu said happily as she hugged her grandmother. "You should've seen the stunt Cus pulled, it was crazy!" Momo added said as she snuggled up to her grandmother as well. "Is that so? You must tell me all about it later." Amaya said as she gave Erma a curious look, which caused the young Yokai girl to blush at the mention of her actions.
Mitsu and Momo flew over to their parents as Mitsu and Momo hugged dad, but he also received a glare from both of them as well. "Dad, what were you thinking going after grandpa alone?" Momo said as she glared at her father. "Yeah, are you insane? You could've been hurt!" Mitsu said as she also gave her dad a glare. Xander sighed before pulling them both into a proper hug. "I'm sorry girls, but I promised I wouldn't leave you again didn't I?" Xander said as his daughters snuggled into his embrace. The family then turned to look at Fumiko, who was trekking to Osamu about something.
"Shall a gather the cooks for a celebratory dinner father?" Fumiko asked Osamu as she waited for a response. "That sounds lovely, in fact this is a special occasion. Let's treat it as such." Osamu said as everyone gave the patriarch a confused look. "I've got a bad feeling about this." Xander whispered to Yori as he didn't like where this was going. "I know, but let's just go with it for now. Maybe it won't be that bad?" Yori said as she tried to comfort her fiancé. Xander looked over at Emiko, who definitely wasn't that comfortable with this whole thing either. One thing was for sure, now that the heads of the Yureimoto family were present, things were finally in full swing.

So Xander followed Osamu and Erma to the throne room and Amaya Yureimoto has appeared as well. Now the Parade is almost in full swing. As always please leave your thoughts and opinions in the comments.
