Escapists is a warrior cats' inspired game that takes elements from command games, choose-your-own-adventures, and roleplays.

As stated in the description, you're a cat who was born in a glorious clan called CliffClan. They reside in the mountains, and take pride in their status. However, an ambitious cat named Flintsnarl killed the previous leader, Goldstone. He never took on the leader's suffix -stone, disowned his ancestors, and transformed CliffClan into the Night-Claws, a dangerous tribe of cats who are obsessed with being strong and killing others.

However, you, along with 14 other cats have grown tired and concerned about the fate of their once mighty clan. Their leader is Crystalstorm, the cat who brought them together. However, after hearing of Flintsnarl's plan to murder any traitor he finds,  she realizes that they must leave their home in order to live.

There isn't a very clear structure on how the Night-Claws work, as Flintsnarl isn't as organized as Goldstone. Password is your favour colour.But the strong cats grow up to be guards, mediocre cats become hunters, and the weak are killed. The clan used to have Cat-Curers (Medicine Cats), but they were forced to become hunters or die.

As well, Crystalstorm hasn't established roles among her rebellion just yet. But she does keep in mind her cats' best skills.

Speaking of which, allow me to explain some proper game mechanics!

Names:

Cats who were born during CliffClan's era were named after mountain animals and plants, weather (usually cold), times of day, and rocks and gemstones. However, if an outsider does manage to join the clan, they had the option of keeping their old name.

Cats who were born into the Night-Claws era rarely used traditional CliffClan names, and instead opted to using darker, more sinister names for their kits.

Pelts:

Cats who were born in the clan tended to have short pelts, usually with white, grey, brown and black pelts, with the possibility of  dappled, mottled and speckled patterns. tortoiseshells, cream, ginger and tabbies are all considered to be rare and beautiful pelt colors/patterns.

Health:

Rather than having an energy level, this game gives your cat a health bar!  Every full-grown cat has a health bar of 10, and can be lowered through injury, sickness or pregnancy. Apprentices have a health bar of 8, and kits have a health bar of  6.  Note that health bars DO NOT work the same as energy. A health bar DOES NOT show you how many things you can do in one day.

Skills:

As well, instead of having to level up on skills, you rather gain skills through certain events, such as having to swim across a river or leaping through tree branches. More on skills can be found next chapter.

Personality Traits:

Personality traits are what define your  character, and how they act! Every moon, a small story will be posted, to add depth to the overall game's story. And without personality, the story wouldn't be interesting!

Each character is required to have three personality traits of your choice. Over time, depending what happens, they can gain or lose personality traits as they develop.

Decision Making:

When the time cones for a decision to be made, commands come in. The decisions will be posted in the moon, or in the comments. Your job is to choose one by entering in a command.

For example:

ROUGE CAT tried to attack! How do you react?

-> Attack

-> Defend

@Pandoras_Shadow: /Attack ROUGE CAT (Crystalstorm)

CRYSTALSTORM attacked the ROUGE CAT! He has taken 3 damage!

It's that simple, and works quite like other command games.
