In this game, skills work differently than in command games. Rather than having the traditional hunting, battle, and foraging skills as things you must level up, your character can gain skills, and not have to worry about leveling them up. Kind of like knacks from the official Warriors RPG.

The closest thing you can have to leveling up your skills is gaining the STRONG add-on. This means that your character is especially talented in that skill. However, if the STRONG skill is left unused for ten moons or more, then it loses the add-on.

When you start the game, you can only have three unique skills, and the option of having one STRONG skill. Your cat can gain and rarely lose skills, and can have a maximum of six skills.

As well! You have the option to pick three random skills at the beginning of the game. However, as kits become apprentices, they are given two randomized skills to start, and an additional skill once they are given their full name.

To activate a skill during a situation, use the command /use (insert skill name) skill (name)

Below are the list of skills:

Alertness: Allows a cat to be focused and extra alert to what's around them.

Animal Lore: Your cat is knowledgeable in other animals and their behaviour.

Balance: Has a talent in staying on their feet when balancing on objects like a fallen log or rock.

Battle: Is talented in fighting other cats.

Clan Lore: Your cat is knowledgeable in CliffClan's history and lore.

Dash: Your cat can run faster and farther than most.

Foraging: Your cat is good at finding herbs, sticks, and branches.

Herb Lore: Your cat is knowledgeable in herbs and healing, even if they aren't a Cat-Curer. They also have the ability to heal cats.

Hunt: Your cat is especially talented at hunting prey.

Hide: Your cat is talented at finding spots to hide and staying hidden.

Interpret Dreams: Your cat is good at interpreting the meanings behind dreams sent by their ancestors. Rare skill

Leap: Your cat can pounce at a farther distance than normal.

Orate: Your cat is good at giving speeches and motivating others. Rare skill.

Pathfinder: Your cat has a good sense of direction, and knows how to find the way without getting lost. Is good at tracking scents.

Stalk: Your cat is very good at sneaking up on others.

Twoleg Lore: Your cat is knowledgeable about Twolegs and their objects. Rare skill.
