Confession Description: Maddie's dad looks like Willy Wonka.

Rebelliously_Yours' Take: I snorted a bit when I saw this.

But, yeah! I was actually sort of disappointed because I expected him to look just as he is described in Madeline Hatter's Story. In the short book, he is described as being a man of average height, with wild mint green and white hair.

However, in the movies Spring Unsprung and Way Too Wonderland, he is the total opposite! He now has brunette hair, huge buck teeth, and ear piercings (those aren't so bad, but it is a little strange).

It's not just that, but I've noticed that it goes right down to the blue eyes, the sharpness of the cheeks and chin, the position of the bow, and the color of the blazer!

Maybe, if we get to see him a little more, I'll warm up to his design. To me, it's just like with Way Too Wonderland. I know I'm digressing just a little bit, but if you compare the characters' official design with the final cartoon animation, you can find a few differences.

I wonder why Mattel keeps changing the designs? It's almost as if they do not think the fans really pay attention to detail.

I'm not a fan of that.
