Maki Pov

Over the next two days, Nico came and visit me at the hospital. She didn't say a word, she came in fed me, sat there for a while then left. She doesn't even look me in the eye.

I didn't see Rosuke or Kumaru, I don't know what happened to them. Or whether the rest knew what was going on.

I was discharged 3 days after the incident.

It was a Friday afternoon, students were pouring out of the gates as I leaned against the wall, jacket warped tightly around me despite the warm summer air.

I saw the whole group of them walk down row payment.

"Maki-chan! How are you nya?" Rin exclaimed and wrapped her arms around me.

I chuckle "I'm fine. I was just discharged."

I looked over to where she stood, she caught my eye and quickly turned away.

"Come on let's go. We are blocking the way." She huffed and everyone nodded silently, exchanging glances.

Without waiting she has already started to walk away, the group followed. I was in the back, hanging my head.

As I walked I was joined by another pair of legs.

"How are you?"

"Fine." I couldn't help but to smile a little at his voice. "You?"

He shrugged "Not sure."

"He hasn't spoke to you either?"

He shook his head "He is treating me the same as Nico is to you."

I sighed "What are we supposed to do?"

"I don't know...."

Returning to the dorm was a nightmare.

I walked in, Nico was on the couch. She didn't move when I sat next to her, leaving a space in between us.

"N-nico..." I tried to talk.

"Don't talk." She cut me off sharply, eyes never leaving the television programme.

I opened my mouth but closed it and sunk into the sofa watching the programme.

"We can't avoid this conversation forever, Nico." I said after the programme ended.

"I thought I told you not to talk."

"Nico, I know you are made but please...."

"Please what? Huh? Give me one good reason why I should listen to you."

"W-well....erm..."

"See, we have nothing to talk about." She huffed amend stood up, about to walk away. I grabbed her wrist on instinct.

She glared at me "Let go."

I stood up and wrapped my arms around her and kissed her, she struggled to push me away but I held her tight.

Finally she was able to push free "What the he'll do you think you are doing?!" She shouted. "You think that just because you kissed me ill suddenly go swooning over you again? Well you are so wrong."

She was panting slightly.

Her last line was what hurt me the most

"We are through!"

She said and stormed put of the room, slamming the door behind her and leaving me in the dorm by myself.

I didn't know what to do, something inside me shattered. I felt numb. No tears came out.

I just slumped down into the couch.

Emptiness filled me.

Rosuke Pov

"Can we talk?" I sat down beside Kumaru.

He sighed and switched the television off.

"What?" His tone was a little annoyed and he didn't turn to face me.

"I'm really sorry."

He stayed silent.

"I know what I did was wrong..."

"So, why did you do it?"

I rubbed my hair "I don't know." I breathed one word at at time. "I don't know what gotten into me..."

He nodded.

"I'm sorry."

"I know."

"Maki and I were only going to do this for the time she was here." I explained.

"What happens after?" His tone soften.

"We end it." I stated simply.

He sighed and shook his head a little before he turned slightly and turned to look at me.

"I'm fine with it..."

"Really?!"

He nodded "but I doubt Nico would feel the same.."

I nodded silently.

"Thank you."

He grinned a little "No problem."

I leaned in and kissed him, a long and deep one.

We pulled apart and I rest my forehead on his.

"You know I think I'll break it with Maki."

He nodded.

"Why don't we go check on them?" He suggest.

I nodded and we got up,hand in hand.

We sneaked upstairs where the girl dorms were.

We hear sex sounds as we went passed Honoka's dorm. We exchanged glances and pretend to gag.

We still couldn't believe that Ganashi and her are together. Anyway it's only for a month.

There were giggling in Kotori and Umi's.

Nozomi and Eli were quiet.

So were Rin and Hanayo.

We finally reached their dorm at the end of that hallway.

Kumaru knocked the door and we waited for awhile. There was no reply.

He looked at me and shrugged.

The door was unlock, I rest my hand on the handle and turned it slowly.

"Maki?" I asked cautiously, walking in.

She was only in the dorm, seated on the couch.

"Maki?" We neared her.

She stared blankly forward.

"Oi Maki-chan?" Kumaru waved a hand in front of her face.

She blinked and looked up at us, almost robotic.

"What happened? Are you alright?" I sat down beside her.

She just nodded her head slightly.

"Where is Nico?"

"She left."

"Left where?" I asked.

She shrugged.

"I'm so sorry Maki this was all my fault..."

She cold expression was broken by a slight smile "It's not your fault. I was careless."

I took her hand in mine and gave it and little squeeze.

"Ne, Rosuke-kun. Can we break up?"

I smiled slightly and nodded.

She nodded silently.

"So, what happen to Nico?"

She took a breath "She said we were through and left."

There was and moment of silence.

"I'm so sorry, Maki."

She shook her head "no. It's okay."

"What are you going to do?" Kumaru asked.

"I'm don't know honestly."

"Well, maybe she just needs sometime to cool off." I tried to comfort her, she just replies with her nods.

"You should rest. You seem tired."Kumaru suggested.

"Mm..thanks." she nodded and we left her.

Nico pov

I went to the beach to cool off and I return when night fell.

She was asleep on the couch, I stood watching her for a moment before I sighed and went to get her a blanket.

I walked away and went to bed in our room.
