As long as he knew himself, Sakata had always wanted to be a hero. He hadn't any single doubt that he would receive an ability when he reached the age of the sixteen. It had happened and then he had his eyes turned red from grey, proving him that he was special, that he had a superpower to save the world.

He discovered his superpower the day after his birthday. The boy was always curious about one room in their apartment, where he had no access to. It wasn't the first time of him trying to open the door - but it was the first time of him trying to do it with his red eyes and the ability. He touched the door and asked about the big power - the power, with which he could get there. Then he opened his eyes and stared at the giant hole in the door. At that moment he understood, that he would have a lot of trouble with his power.

The boy was willing to learn how to use his power, so he tried his best and practice a lot, although he still couldn't have the full control of his power. Surely, Sakata was an optimist - he had already dreamt about all people he could save and help. Everything couldn't be different, right?

His thoughts were interrupted by the scream. Sakata quickly turned around and noticed the reason of it. There was a fight around the corner, but it wasn't usual - he saw some traces of the magic - superpowers, slightly different from his. Despite all the chaos, he was able to recognize some people, such as famous superheroes Amatsuki and Soraru. His gaze was running from one to another person, but he didn't recognize anyone else.

Besides different traces of the destruction, Sakata noticed some people, struggling in fear. The boy couldn't stand that scene anymore, so he decided to interrupt it somehow. Like once in childhood, he closed his eyes and asked about the big power that would help him to deal with the fight and help heroes. When he opened his eyes, he saw a red crystal, flying about the fighters' heads and then...

"Ugh!" - he heard a scream from the blonde male, which was the closest to the explosion. He fell down and screamed in pain.

"I'm sorry I didn't want to harm you!" - Sakata exclaimed, drawing everyone's attention to him.

"Who are you?" - asked the white-haired boy with red eyes, similar to his.

"I'm Sakat-" - the redhead started to answer, but was interrupted by another boy, who was shorter than him and had green eyes.

"Seriously, Soraru, you let your friends be protected by some idiot?" - he asked the raven-haired superhero sarcastically - "Anyway, it doesn't matter. We should get Luz-san some treatment. See you next time, when we definitely win" - the brunet continued, evilly grinning.

Sakata in amusement watched, how the darkness was thickened around the villains' team. The boy turned around to the heroes, who didn't seem delighted at all.

"So? Care to tell us who you are and what you are doing here?", the raven-haired male asked him as he narrowed his eyes in suspicion while eyeing the younger male.

"A-ah, yes! I'm Sakata!", the redhead introduced himself after he finally got the chance to introduce himself without anyone interrupting him.

"It's nice to meet you, Sakata! My name is Mafumafu!", the albino introduced himself smiling brightly as he held his hand out to the other male who smiled and was about to take it before the ravenette stood in front of Mafumafu to stop them.

"Soraru-san?", the younger male asked the raven-haired male as he looked at the other male in confusion while Sakata pulled his hand back to himself.

"Mafu, you are always too trusting. This guy here just suddenly showed up. We don't know what he is up to or what he wants from us.", Soraru warned the albino.

Sakata only widened his eyes as he waved his hands around in defense. "Ah, no! I mean no harm! I just wanted to join you guys and become a hero as well! I have always admired you guys and it was my dream to become a hero as well!", Sakata exclaimed.

"Oh! Another fellow hero would be nice! Less work for everyone and more allies!", a brunet pointed out cheerfully as an older brunet put a hand on the younger male's shoulder in an attempt to calm him down a bit as he gave him a smile.

"Amatsuki-kun, I know it would be nice to have a new member but we still almost know nothing about him. We can't just let our guard down even though he does seem like a nice person.", Kashitaro said as he gave the redhead an apologetic look.

"Eh... he seems so nice though....", Mafumafu said as the older male sighed. "And this is why I always have to help you get out of trouble... you're just too trusting...", Soraru sighed.

"I really mean no harm, I swear!", Sakata promised putting a hand on his chest where his heart laid as he gave them an determined and honest expression.

"I just want to save people and become a hero like those I've admired! So please let me join!"

The idea of the AU came to me while I was reading some prompts, but I changed everything so I see no point in showing it to you.
