So far it opens with a great impression. I suggest adding lyrics to the sad song Jackson sings. The singer seems broken but greattful of his fans, which makes him likeable. The main girl, Evelyn seems like a great recovery for him, and seems a very dedicated fan. Her excitement is felt.
