Natsu and Gray's destination was Natsu's parents' house. Natsu wasn't thrilled to see his father again. His mum was okay. He was even hesitant for him to meet Gray. 

You see, Natsu had a secret. His secret was shared with few, four people to be precise. Wendy, Gajeel, Lisanna, and Lucy. Normally he would tell Gray his secrets, but not when it was about him.

You see Natsu has been in love with Gray fullbuster since they were children. He could never bring himself to tell him, some times even Natsu would whisper baka under his breath when Gray would accidentally turn him on.

That was a problem right now because his father could read people easily. If Natsu's dad accidentally suggested that Natsu liked him, Natsu would die of embarrassment. Natsu wouldn't put it past him on purpose. Natsu's dad, his name was Kevin Dragneel, and he was kind of a dick. Well, more than a little a dick. His mum knows that for sure in other areas.

Natsu shivered, that was not one of his favorite memories.

Natsu and Gray walked side by side

Natsu stopped in front of one of the largest houses on the island.

"Damn," Gray whispered.

"Well both my parents are on the Fay council so they get one of the largest houses on the island."

 "Fay council?"

"Yeah they rule over all fay species, its kinda like the magic council, but better."

"well it's pretty hard to be worse than the magic council, they all got sticks up their ass."

"You bet."

"What's this magic council?" A tall man leaned on the doorway, he was buff and had a serious face. He was strikingly similar to Natsu. He had golden eyes and pink hair. His face shape looked more elongated and masculine.

"Hi, dad." Natsu crossed his arms.

"Hi," His tone was sour. Then his eyes drifted to Gray, " Who's your boyfriend?"

"GAh!" Natsu's eyes widened, "He's not- we're not- Uh we're not dating."

Kevin narrowed his eyes at the two.

Gray, who seemed noticeably redder, "I'm Gray Fullbuster."

 "Fullbuster eh?" Kevin smirked, "Is your father Silver Fullbuster?"

"Yeah?" Gray and Natsu scooted closer together.

"Oh, I know him. Icy bastard," Kevin walked inside, "Coming in or yer gonna let me shut the door."

Gray and Natsu gave each other a look then walked inside.
