It was the time of night, silence had engulfed the surrounding. The moon was peeping into Avneil's room. Sometimes, the clouds hide it behind them. The dark clouds were covering the sky.

Avni and Neil were standing near the cupboard. Avneil were emotionally looking at each other and Avni's wedding dress was kept on the floor in between them. Neil looked at the dress. Avni too saw the dress and she recalled the betrayal of her father and husband. She fumes and goes to the bed. Neil was looking at her. He looked at the dress and picked it up. Neil kept the dress back to the cupboard and shut that side. Neil turned to Avni who closed the suitcase.

Avni moved to the second bag and closed the zip of the small bag. She goes to the other side of the bed and pulled down the suitcase and grabbed the bag and her handbag. She doesn't want her single thing left there but deep inside in her heart, she knew that she is leaving many things behind her. Neil was shocked to see Avni.

Avni was moving, and Neil came on her way. Avni doesn't look at him.

Neil: Avni, please don't do this. Please, don't leave me. Ok, You are angry with me, you can get angry on me. Avni, beat me, yells at me, do whatever you want to do but please don't leave me. I can't leave without you. Avni, your anger is valid but I didn't go to Ashish papa. He came to me.

Avni was shocked. She looked at him.

Neil: he called me to talk about our alliance but when I refused that then he offered me the deal and.

Avni: and you accepted that.

Neil looked at her. He shook his head.

Neil: no, Avni, I...

Avni cuts him.

Avni: yes, Neil, you.

Neil looked at her.

Avni: ok, I accept that papa offered you the deal and you accepted it but you can tell me about that. I was the one who wanted him to help you then what was the need to hide it.

Neil holds Avni's shoulder.

Neil: Avniii, papa asked me to keep it secret.

Avni: this means you both did my deal.

Neil shook his head.

Avni: ok, for once if we assume that he wants to keep it a secret but you can tell me the truth. Why did you hide it from me? Am I a stranger?

Neil: no, Avni, I wanted to tell you after our marriage but I

Avni: I was afraid what if Avni left me in anger and then Ashish Mehta will stop the investment.

Neil shook his head.

Avni: you both hide it because you both knew that if I get to know about it then I will refuse from the marriage. You were thinking about your project only. How can someone be so cheap?

Neil was shocked.

Avni: what did you think that Avni will live in my home just like a piece of furniture and I will get the investments for my project and will enjoy my life with my girlfriend. Right?

Neil shook his head.

Avni: now I understand why you always give more attention to Juhi, why she always clings to you, her presence everywhere, when you go on the trip, she was always with you. She knows about your choice, your favourite things.

A tear falls from Avni's eye. She wipes it and looked at Neil who was looking at her.

Avni: Now everything is clear like crystal.

Neil was looking at her.

Avni: I am sorry, Mr Neil Khanna, I came in between you two. It must be so painful and frustrating to meet in hotels secretly.

Neil was looking at her hurtfully.

Avni: but don't worry now I will make everything fine. I will move away from your way. Your way is clear now.

Avni moved and Neil was shocked. Avni was going and Neil was requesting her. Avni opened the door and grabbed the suitcase. She was about to step out and she saw the Khanna family. Neil looked at his family. Avni looked down and moved.

Shweta: Avni.

Avni was going. Neil and others were trying to stop her. Neil holds Avni's arm and stands in front of her.

Neil: Avni, please.

Avni looked at him. Neil saw immense anger in her eyes. Her eyes were used to show love, fear and her soft heart but today those eyes are showing anger and deep grief. Neil looked down. Her eyes were scaring him. Neil moved aside and Avni looked down and she starts to go. The Khanna family was requesting her but she doesn't want to break down in front of them. Her eyes were teary.

Neil was looking at Avni.

Shweta came to Neil and she holds his arm.

Shweta: Tillu, why are you standing here, stop her.

Neil did not answer her. He was just looking at Avni. Shweta jerks his shoulder.

Shweta: Tillu.

No effect.

Neil was standing like a statue.

Shweta jerks his shoulders but no use. Neil was just looking at Avni. Shweta runs to Avni.

Avni goes downstairs and Neil's eyes were stuck on her. Avni goes away from his eyes. Avni was moving to the entrance. She was about to step out but she stopped and recalled her welcome. She got emotional. Avni closed her eyes and a tear falls from her eye. She sighs deeply and opened her eyes. She took the step out. The thunder flashed in the sky. Suddenly the rain starts.  The Khanna family stopped. They were shocked to see Avni stepping out of the house. Everyone had tears in their eyes.

Avni goes from there. She talked to the driver and got in the car. Avni leaned to the seat and she closed her eyes. She gulped her pain. The car moved from there. Neil was looking at her from the balcony and was drenched in the rain.

On the way, Avni was looking out from the window and was crying silently. The tears fall from her eyes.

Neil was standing on the balcony. Prakash angrily came to Neil and he turned Neil to him.

Prakash: what is this all happening, Neil? What had happened that made Avni leave her own house? That too in this weather, at the time of night?

Neil was looking down. Shweta came there.

Shweta: Tillu, answer your father.

Bebe: everyone come to my room right now.

They turns their faces and saw Bebe who looked at them then she goes. Prakash glared at Neil who looked at him and made his eyes down. Prakash goes from there and Neil was looking at him. He forwards his gaze to his mother who looked at him. Shweta was also feeling helpless and had no idea about what has happened so she also goes from there. Neil left there alone. He looked down.

In Bebe’s room, Bebe, Prakash and Shweta were sitting. Neil entered the room by bowing his head. His face was showing the story of his grief. He had planned something and something else happened. Neil was coming slowly as his all energy has drained. Prakash and the others looked at him. Neil came to them. Prakash got up.

Prakash: Neil.

Bebe: sunny.

Prakash and Shweta looked at Bebe.

Bebe: relax.

Prakash looked away. Bebe looked at Neil.

Bebe: Neil, tell us, what has happened? What made the daughter-in-law of this house leave her home that too at time of the night?

Neil looked at her then he looked down. Neil remained silent.

Prakash: Neil, don’t test my patience. You saw my love, don’t force me to take any strict steps.

Shweta: Prakash Ji, calm down.

Prakash: how can I calm down? Ask your son to say something.

Shweta signed him to calm. Shweta goes to Neil and kept her hand on Neil’s shoulder.

Shweta: say, Tillu.

Neil looked at her and saw the concern in her eyes. The love and care that he want now and that’s it, Neil broke down. Neil fell to his knees.

Neil: I did not do anything. I am innocent.

Neil cried bitterly and the whole Khanna family was surprised to see his condition. They never saw him like this. They were witnessing the new Neil. Everyone’s anger turned into concern. Shweta sat beside him. She cupped Neil’s face who was crying.

Shweta: what happened, Tillu? Tell your mom.

Neil was crying. Shweta looked at Prakash and Bebe then she looked at Neil.

Shweta: ok get up. Come on, get.

Shweta was trying to make Neil stand. Neil stood up and she took him to the bed. Shweta gave him water. Neil denied but she cupped his cheeks and made him drink.

Neil gulped and his condition was worst. Shweta was bending to him. She looked at Prakash who was standing near them. Prakash’s phone rang. He took out his phone and he goes out to talk. Neil was shaking.

Prakash came out.

Prakash: Hello.

Prakash was shocked to hear the other side.

Prakash: what? Are you sure about it?

Prakash cuts the call and he thinks.

Prakash came to the room and he walked to Neil. Neil looked up at Prakash.

Prakash: did you go to hotel king star?

Neil was shocked. Neil sighed and he got up. He nods by looking down.

Prakash: Can I ask you with whom you went there?

Neil looked at him.

Shweta: what happened, Prakash Ji?

Prakash: answer me, Neil.

Bebe got up.

Bebe: sunny, what happened?

Prakash: your beloved grandson went to meet Juhi there.

They were shocked.

Neil: Dad, I didn’t go to meet Juhi there. Today I planned a surprise for Avni in hotel king star but I got a call from Juhi, she had some work with me so I asked her to come there. I thought to call Avni once I will finish my meeting with Juhi but don’t know how Avni came there even though I did not tell her about there.

Prakash: then how did she come there and I am not understanding one thing that why did you give that Juhi that much importance.

Neil looked down.

Neil: don’t know who told Avni that I am there. She also got to know about my and Ashish papa’s deal. I…

Prakash and the others were surprised.

Prakash: your and Ashish Mehta’s deal?

Neil was shocked. He realized what he said. Neil looked at Prakash and others. Neil looked down.

Neil: ab, aa, I, I.

Prakash: I what?

Neil: I and papa had a deal before my and Avni’s marriage.

Prakash: and what was that?

Neil looked at him.

Neil: Ashish papa offered me the deal that if I marry Avni then he will invest in my dream project.

Prakash was shocked. Bebe and Shweta kept their hands on their mouth in shock. Neil was looking at Prakash, he got angry and he slapped Neil. Shweta cupped her mouth and Bebe widens her eyes. Neil kept his hand on his cheek and he looked at Prakash then he looked down.

Prakash: I feel ashamed of calling you my son.

Shweta holds Neil’s arms.

Shweta: what is this, Tillu? You said, you love Avni then what is this?

Neil was looking down.

Prakash: I want to know the truth.

Neil told him everything. Prakash and Bebe shook their head.

Prakash: you were my pride, Neil today you broke my pride, Neil. You broke my pride.

Prakash goes. Neil was looking at him, he felt ashamed.

Bebe and Shweta gave the disgusting look and they go. Neil saw them going and he left behind alone. Neil cried and holds his waist. He caught his head with one hand. Neil was crying.

On the other side, the doorbell of Mehta house rang. Neela maa was going to the stairs. She heard the bell and she goes to the door. Neela maa opened the door and looked up. Avni was standing at the door. Neela maa was surprised to see Avni. She smiled to see her. Avni was looking at her emotionally.

Neela maa: Avni. What a pleasant surprise?

Neela maa was smiling but her smile faded to see the luggage.

Avni was looking at her with teary eyes.

Nm: Avni?

Avni hugged her and cried. Neela maa was confused and got worried for Avni. Neela maa thinks. Avni was crying bitterly.
