Explosivo smirked as he started to circle Shadow and he did the same with a menacing glare. He laughed as he dashed towards Shadow and started throwing punches and kick at him that were easily avoided because of his speed and short stature.

Shadow decided to counter attack by blocking Explosivo's right hook with his left arm and going for a slash across his chest but Explosivo didn't seem too bothered by that as his smirked got bigger and Shadow widened his eyes as Explosivo thrust his left hand in front of Shadow's face and the metal gloves glowed a bright red.

"BOOM!" Explosivo shouted and an explosion was projected from his arm, hitting Shadow point blank.

Shadow was blown back and tumbled backwards on the ground but eventually got his footing, skidding to a halt while coughing up a mixture of smoke and blood as scratches and burns covered his upper body and blood was running down the side of his face and from his nose.

Shadow staggered as he heard Explosivo laugh, his head shot up and saw that Explosivo was coming at full force while boosting himself by keeping his arms behind him and launching explosion after explosion.

Shadow grit his teeth as he held his sword with both hands and brought it down for a slash with the aim of cutting Explosivo in half but Explosivo dodged by exploding the ground beneath him and launching himself in the air. He fell to the ground and landed by doing a one-armed handstand on top of Shadow's head.

"KABOOM!" Explosivo shouted as his right foot glowed and he brought it down, kicking Shadow's stomach which caused an explosion.

Shadow let out a guttural shout of pain as Explosivo flipped in the air and landed on his feet, striking a feminine pose.

"Face it shapeshifter, I blew you away!" Explosivo exclaimed.

Shadow coughed as smoke surrounded him and he briefly glowed a flash of blue into his original body but forced himself to stay in his current form. He stood up and stumbled slightly, using his sword as a crutch as he glared at Explosivo.

"You enjoy beating up children?" Shadow asked.

"Man, Woman, Child, doesn't matter to me! Anyone who catches my interest will surely die a fiery explosion." Explosivo stated as he held up his hand and small explosion bubbled erupted from it.

"Glad to see that we share the same sentiment but..." Shadow stated as he stood up straight with a smirk "I don't plan on dying and it sure as hell won't be a fiery explosion killing me."

Explosivo chuckled "We'll see about that."

Shadow curled up into a ball with his sword and spun in place as a red ball with a silver shine in the center "Homing Attack!"

With that shout, Shadow launched towards Explosivo who blocked it with his metal gloves. Their clash created sparks akin to a buzz saw making contact with metal and this pushed Explosivo back. Shadow stopped spinning and went for another downward slash that was dodged once more by Explosivo.

He went for a kick that Shadow ducked under, ignoring the explosion that erupted from the leg and going for a stab to Explosivo's chest who deflected with his right hand. He did a sideways flip and brought his other leg down towards Shadow's head who curled up into a ball and dashed backwards as the spot he was standing had become a small crater from the explosion that erupted from Explosivo's leg.

'Argh! I'm wasting my time here! Makarov-ya could be in danger or worse, I need to finish this now!' Shadow said to himself.

"You're probably thinking about the old man right now, ain't ya?" Explosivo asked and Shadow responded by narrowing his eyes and gritting his teeth "I'd focus if I were you, because now I'm about to strike you."

"Strike me?" Shadow asked with a raised eyebrow of confusion since he has already done that, multiple times even.

Explosivo launched forward with his explosions as Shadow widened his eyes as Explosivo raised both his arms "AIR STRIKE!!!"

Explosivo reigned down his arms as if he was furiously playing the drums with both arms releasing bigger explosions. Shadow started utilizing his speed to dodge the hits but it was getting considerably harder as the ground beneath them was becoming an ever growing crater.

Shadow had enough of dodging as he deflected one explosion and widened his eyes at a new revelation. He smirked as he started blocking the hits quite easily and Explosivo widened his eyes once he noticed that his explosions were being dispersed.

Shadow took his shock as an advantage and slashed Explosivo from his waist and across his chest, letting out a rain of blood and Explosivo screamed in pain. Explosivo held onto his chest screaming as he stumbled and tumbled backwards.

Shadow ignored his cries as he looked down at his sword 'So that's what you can do.'

Explosivo's screams turned into roars of rage as he furiously glared at Shadow, clenching his blood stained fists that were not only red from the blood but steaming with a red aura.

"You damn brat!! You think you can just cut me? Me!? And get away with it!? Well game over shapeshifter!! You lose!!" Explosivo shouted as he got into a stance, spreading his arms and pointing his hands to the ground while getting on his knees "This forest shall burn with my rage..."

Shadow widened his eyes as Explosivo's magical aura skyrocketed, steam emanated from him and his body glowed a shade of pink. Two large explosions erupted from his hands and launched him high up in the sky.

Explosivo started to fall with his head aimed to the ground and he started to spin furiously midair as he spoke "Oppenheimer's..."

'No! This guy's insane! He's going to take all of the forest down just to kill me!' Shadow exclaimed in his head as he thought back to the large river within the forest he saw while on the train, he gripped his sword tightly as he grits his teeth 'I have to do it! I only have one shot at this!'

Shadow adopted a red aura as his armbands glowed yellow as spun in place and launched forwards towards Explosivo.

"GENOCIDE!!!" Explosivo shouted as he thrust his right arm forward with a manic grin and it sparked.

"Chaos Control!" Shadow shouted as everything froze and everything became an off balance of color.

The two teleported away from the battlefield with a green flash and appeared at the base of the river within the forest as the everything went back to normal. Then it happened, an explosion the size of a nuclear explosion erupted from the river and the trees around it were blown back with the train tracks getting completely destroyed.

It took only a few moments for the aftermath of the explosion to show. The river was completely evaporated and made into a deeper and larger crater, trees surrounding it were completely destroyed and the trees that somehow survived were on fire.

Shadow grit his teeth as his body was completely burnt and only a few hairs were covering him now, not only was his body burnt but he was bleeding everywhere with blood surrounding the ground around them.

Explosivo coughed up a large amount of blood as he laid on the ground motionless, he looked down and let out a feeble laugh at the sword deep in chest.

Shadow was standing over him with his sword stabbed into Explosivo's heart "Game over, you lose."

Explosivo smirked "Yeah..."

"Where is he?" Shadow asked with a glare.

Explosivo let out a small laugh "The guildhall...is...at...the edge of Magnolia...You really...are a force...of nature shapeshifter..."

And with that final statement, Explosivo was dead. Shadow pulled his sword from the dead man's chest and stumbled forward, transforming back into Law with a flash. While Shadow's body may have sustained damage, Law was perfectly fine except for the massive fatigue the battle had caused her.

"I'm coming Makarov-ya..." Law muttered as she crawled out of the crater and walked towards a direction that she hoped would lead to the Flaming Emperor Guild hall.

Makarov and Kai both huffed and puffed from their battle as they felt the entire building shake. While this shocked Makarov, Kai just laughed.

"Looks like my second in command has won." Kai stated.

"What makes you say that?" Makarov asked with a glare.

"That shapeshifting brat may be strong but I doubt she could survive the magical prowess of the number one explosion mage in all of Fiore." Kai stated "Now I will not only be the one to finally kill you but I will also be the one that collects the Shapeshifter of Death's bounty."

"You're sounding too cocky Kai." Makarov stated as it was his turn to smirk "That child has more potential that any of us, whatever you have brought against her will meet the same fate as many others have."

Kai clicked his tongue "Tch! Enough talk!"

Makarov nodded as his magic skyrocketed and the building shook "It's time I end this."
