POV: Juvia

I woke up to the sound of tapping on my window from the rain falling down. I sat up in bed to see that I was the only one in the bed.

"Gray?" I called into my apartment. There was no answer. Then I saw something out of corner of my eye. It was a note.

'Dear Juvia,

I left to go back to my apartment and clean up. I'll probably be back before you wake up. But just in case. I'll see you then.

-Gray'

I smiled at how thoughtful Gray was. But then frowned remembering what has just happened yesterday.

"Well since Gray is gone, Juvia might as well take a shower." I said as I slowly and carefully made my way to my bathroom. I turned the water on and let it warm up as I took my ruined clothes and threw them in the trash.

'Darn, that was Juvia's favorite dress.'

I then carefully unwrapped the bandage on my leg that had a large blood stain on it, and threw that in the trash too, and hopped into the shower. When I got out I smelled something amazing. I got dressed quickly, in a pink shirt and a black skirt that went down to my knees. As I wobbled out and into my kitchen, I saw Gray putting food on plates.

"Good morning Gray." I said sadly, as I hopped over to the table.

"Morning." He replied, and set a plate of food on the table in front of me.

"Thank you." I said as I started to eat. Once I got about halfway through my meal, when I found myself really just playing with my food instead of eating it.

"Are you okay Juvia?" Gray asked me. I nodded.

"Juvia is sorry. She just isn't much hungry." I said.

"Is what happened to Lucy, bothering you?" He asked. I nodded again. "Do you want to talk about it?" I shook my head no. "Why?"

"Because Juvia feels like if she were to talk about it. That she would cry. And Juvia doesn't want to cry." I explained.

"Well, if you do want to talk about it. I'm here for you." Gray said standing up and took my plate from me and set it in the sink. I got up and went behind Gray as he washed the dishes and I hugged him from behind.

"Thank you." I said as a tear fell from my eye. Gray turned around and returned the hug.

"Do you have any bandages?" Gray asked me. I nodded and when we pulled apart Gray put his hands on my hips, and my face started to burn up. He lifted me into my kitchen counter.

"Gray w-what are you doing?" I asked getting nervous. He walked away towards my bathroom and came back with some bandages.

"You're going to want to keep that dry." He said pointing to the cut on my leg. "When I left earlier it started to rain, and it was still raining on my way back." He started wrapping it up at my ankle.

"That might be Juvia's fault." I said as he made his way up to my knee.

"No." Gray said. "I think the world's just sad to have one less happy person on this earth." He pushed the edge of my skirt up my thigh and my heart started beating faster at his touch. I grabbed Gray's hand as he held my skirt halfway up my thigh.

"Can Juvia do the rest?" I said embarrassed. His face turned bright red as well and he nodded and awkwardly went back to doing the dishes. We both finished doing what we were doing. "We should probably go to the guild?"

"Yeah." Gray said and helped me put on my jacket. Gray then bent down for me to get on his back.

"Gray, Juvia can walk." I said.

"I know. But you're going to want to stay off your leg a little longer." He said. And he was right my leg hurt just from walking the little that I had. So I got on his back and we went out the door.

POV: Gajeel

I woke up and looked out my window to see that it was raining outside. I got up and walked into the bathroom. I looked in the mirror. I had blood on my face from when my arm got split open. Then I undid the bandage that was on my upper arm and looked at the cut that had been sown up last night.

'Dang! Who know the little squirt could cause so much trouble. Then again I'm the one that blocked the hit.'

I decided to take a shower and get all the shit that was on me off. When I got in the shower thinking it would wash away the guilt I felt, for not being able to help Lucy.

'Me and bunny girl weren't really that close, and we didn't really talk much. But she was still like my annoying little sister. Kinda like Juvia. We still took care of each other when needed.'

I got out of the shower not really feeling any better. I grabbed some bandages and put them on my table as I was trying to put some clothes on. And was currently failing. When I was finally able to get some pants on, there was a knock on my door.

"Just a sec!" I yelled as I struggled with my belt. I opened the door, after I got my stupid belt on. It was Levy. Standing out in the rain soaking wet. "Uhh. Hey shrimp. What are you doing here?" I asked. The moment she looked at me her face turned bright red. "What?"

"Umm . . . shirt?" She said. I looked down.

"Oh sorry. I was having trouble with putting my shirt on." I said inviting Levy in from the rain.

"That's actually why I came over here." She said. I looked at her questionably. "I-I mean . . . t-that's not what I m-meant!" She stuttered. I giggled at her. She gave me her angry face.

'She's cute when she's frustrated.'

"Anyway, what I meant was that I came to help you with your shoulder." She explained. "I knew you wouldn't be able to re-bandage your arm right. That and I need a distraction." She looked at the floor as she started to cry. I pulled her into a one arm hug.

"It's okay Levy." I said rubbing her back. She hugged me back and cried into my chest for a moment.

"Okay, okay." Levy whipped her eyes and took a deep breath. "I'm okay. Now sit." She yelled pointing at a chair.

"Yes ma'am." I said following her demand. She grabbed the roll of bandage off my table and started wrapping it around my shoulder.

"Thanks." She said, while still focusing on my arm.

"For what?" I asked her.

"For saving my life." She said looking at me. "And last night."

Flash Back:

"Hey are you guys good here? I'm going to take Juvia home." Gray asked Natsu, Levy and I. We nodded and Gray put Juvia on his back and left the guild. It was quiet for a long time after that as Natsu helped Levy stitch the large gash in my shoulder.

"Are you okay, Natsu?" Levy asked. Natsu was quiet for a moment.

"I don't want to talk about it." Natsu said.

"Are you sure Natsu cause if yo-" Levy started to say, but was cut off.

"I said I don't want to talk about it Levy!" Natsu said raising his voice at her.

"Natsu!" I yelled.

"What!" He demanded.

"Go home! And sleep this shit off like the rest of us are doing!" I told him. He walked over and carefully picked up Happy, and walked out cursing.

"I'm sorry Natsu." Levy said when he was almost at the guild door, knowing he would hear her. He stopped.

"It's okay Levy, it's not your fault. I'm just sad and tired. And I'm sorry too." He said and then walked home. I repeated what Natsu said for Levy. She smiled.

"At least we know that he's still sane." Levy joked, which was true if he wasn't acting this way I would be more than happy to question he sanity. We laughed a little, but it didn't last long. "Well let's get you home, Gajeel.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Your welcome." I said. I smiled at her, and she did the same. For a moment.
"What's wrong?" I asked her.
"It's nothing." She said finishing up my arm.
"Shrimp." I said grabbing her hand and pulled her close to me. "Tell me."
"It's just that. . . I'm standing here smiling. And when I smile, I feel nothing but guilt." She explain while finding the floor very interesting.
"It's okay shrimp." I said giving her a small smile, all the while being serious. "You know Lucy would have wanted you to keep smiling."
"Yeah, you're right. But I still feel bad. Especially for Natsu. He was the closest person to Lucy." She said. I nodded in agreement.
"He'll be okay, just give him time. That's what we all need, time." I told her.
"When did you become so wise?" Levy asked as she helped me get my shirt on.
"When I joined Fairy Tail, and met you." I said honestly. Levy looked me in the eye and her face turned bright red again. I laughed at her and she punched me in the arm. My bad arm. "Oww! You little shit!" Levy fell to the floor laughing.
"Okay come on we should probably get to the guild." Levy said very seriously after she caught her breath. I nodded and we walked out the door in silence. Once outside levy tried to keep her giggles on but was failing.
"You know, it wasn't that funny." I said.
"Pffff. Yeah it was." She said with a straight face and I started laughing.
'Well, for sure. If I wasn't in love with her when I first met her. I am now.'
