POV: Gajeel

Levy closed the book and placed it on Gramp's desk.

"That means that Lucy is a distant relative to Kiara?" Erza asked. Gramps nodded.

"But what did Lucy feel when she reincarnated Kiara?" Levy asked. "Pain? Anger? Fear?"

"That we will not know. Unless we found Kiara and asked her what she felt." Gramps said.

"Juvia doubts that she would answer that question." Juvia said.

"Is there anyway to reverse what happened to Lucy?" Gray asked.

"I'm afraid not." Gramps said. "Unless you want to lose her body as well. For I believe Lucy is, really gone."

"Don't let Natsu hear you say that." I said warning Gramps.

"Yes well we are going to have to tell the rest of the guild anyway. So he'll probably end up hearing it whether he likes it or not." Gramps said, and sighed. "But we should probably tell everyone before he gets here. Why don't you kids make your way down stairs? And then I'll start explaining." We nodded and walked out of his office and down the stairs, and walked over to a table together.

"I wish I'd stayed home." Erza said right as Mira walked over to the table with a tray of drinks, and we sat down. Gray and Juvia sitting together. Erza on the end. And shrimp next to me.

"Hey guys." She said putting on the fakest smile I've ever seen her wear. "I got you guys some ice tea."

"Thanks Mira." We all mumbled trying to show our appreciation. And failed miserably. She gave us all a small, real, smile. She then walked back to the bar.

"Alright everyone, can I have your attention please!" Gramps called out to the guild. It sounded like he was about to cry, but was also trying really hard to hold it in. "I have some bad news! I'm afraid, we have lost a fellow Fairy Tail member!"

"What!" Cana yelled.

"Who?" Elfman asked.

"I'm afraid we have lost Lucy." He said, after taking a deep breath. Everyone gasped and mostly everyone started shedding tears.

"What happened?" Wakaba asked turning to us.

"Lucy was forced to reincarnate some one into her body." Gramps said.

"No!" Levy stood up knocking her chair over. "Lucy wasn't forced into it! She sacrificed herself to save us! We had knives to our throats and Lucy didn't even think about it! She was willing to give up her life! Just to save us." She whispered the last part. She looked down and started to cry. I reached behind her and picked up the chair and set her in it.

"Yes. My apologies. Lucy sacrificed herself to save her fellow guild members!" Gramps restated.

"Family members!" Gray yelled looking at his lap. "Lucy sacrificed herself to save family members!" Juvia reached over and grabbed Gray's hand, and gave it a small squeeze. He returned the squeeze and gave Juvia a small smile.

"Yes, of course. And now, the person that was reincarnated name is Kiara Wood! And she is the master of a guild called Shadow Fang!" Gramps continued.

"What are we waiting for?" Bisca yelled. "Let's go kick some Shadow Fang ass!" She then racked the pump on her shot gun. Everyone began to cheer.

"We can not go and do that!" Gramps yelled. "Yet, because we don't know where their guild is! So before we can go kick some ass, we must first find were the guild is located!"

"Master! You promise once we find the guild that we will all leave and get our revenge?" Mira said from behind the bar, slowly cleaning a beer mug.

"I promise Mira." Gramps said. All of a sudden there was a loud crash. We looked to see that Natsu created a grand entrance. He had kicked down the door.

"Hey Natsu! We just fixed the door!" Someone yelled.

"Oops sorry." Natsu said. He then walked over to everyone all happy.

"What the hell is he doing?" Levy whispered.

"Maybe he is going insane." I said. Happy flew into the guild and saw us sitting at a table, and flew over to us.

"Happy! What's up with Natsu?" Gray asked.

"I don't know. When I woke up, Natsu wasn't at home. So I figured he slept at Lucy's. When I got there he rushed out the door, excited for some reason, and said he'd race me here." He said landing on the table across from Erza.

"He spent the night at Lucy's apartment?" Erza asked. Happy nodded.

"Not too surprising." Gray said. We all agreed to that. Natsu then saw us and started walking over to us with a smile on his face.

"Hey guys!" He said sitting down across from Erza next to Happy. "What's up?" He looked at all of us.

'Something not right. Why is Natsu happy?'

After a minute no one had answered him.

"Hey, we should go on a job." Natsu said leaning back in his chair.

'Of course! That's what it is! Who knew the jackass would keep his word?'

"No!" Gray yelled. Natsu looked at him. "We're not going on a job right now!" He spoke the truth for all of us. No one would want to go on a job right now, not with what happened to Lucy.

"Do you not remember what happened?" Erza asked. "How can you walk in here, and be happy right now? We lost a guild member! A friend! A family member for God's sakes!" Natsu didn't say anything for the longest time.

"Why does that matter?" He asked. And I don't think anyone else heard it, but I know I did. Natsu's voice cracked. Gray then punched him in the jaw.

"What do you mean 'What does that matter'?" Gray yelled at Natsu who was getting up off the floor.

"It means, what does it matter that we lost a guild member?" Natsu said not taking his eyes off the floor, his hair covering his eyes. His voice had cracked again. Natsu got hit again but this time it was by Erza. She kicked him in the back and he went flying forwards near the table. I stood up as he landed on his hands and knees.

"What the hell is wrong with you!" Gray yelled at him.

"Gray." I said in my regular tone.

"How can you just act like nothing happened?" Gray continued. "She was your best friend! And you're acting like it's no big deal!"

"Gray." I said a little louder.

"You don't think I know that!" Natsu yelled looking up at Gray. Gray looked surprised that Natsu had tears in his eyes and was trying so hard not to let them fall.

"Gray!" I yelled to get his attention. He looked at me. "It's not his fault that he's like this."

"What do you mean?" Shrimp asked.

"Back when we were on the job Lucy made Natsu promise that he would never would change his personality. And basically, no matter what, to be the opposite from everyone else." I said.

"You promised Lucy." Erza said not in a question, but realizing what he had done. Natsu nodded.

"Stupid dragon hearing." Natsu said as Gray offered Natsu a hand. I smirked, as Natsu took Gary's hand and he helped the dumb ass to his feet.

"Yeah, but the whole guild might have killed your dumb ass, if it weren't for the Dragon hearing." I said making a point. Natsu smirked.

"Well that doesn't sound like a bad idea right now." Natsu said so quietly to himself that I almost didn't hear it. I then slapped him on the back of the head. "Oww!"

"Idiot!" I said.

A few weeks later

POV: Natsu

Four weeks had passed since we came home with out Lucy. And so far I had kept my promise to her. Everyone has understand what I had promised Lucy, and haven't gotten mad at me again since then. And Lucy probably wouldn't like this but, I had been sleeping over at her apartment ever since we got back. Oh well, I miss her to much. That and it's not like I really sleep along with everyone else. Everyone had been working on trying to find any sign of Shadow Fang. With no success.

"Well, well, well." Said a too familiar voice, yet it still sounded unknown. "Look at what we got here."

'No! It can't be!'

I whirled around to face the open doors, to see that there was a girl with blonde hair, and wore black leather vest, a short mini skirt, and tall high heel boots on. And behind her was a whole guild.

"Lucy." I said.
