Lucy goes and puts the next dvd. It was on Akuma vs Shang Tsung. "All right, our next combatants for the night!" Natsu exclaims. "Aye sir!" Happy agrees. "Uhhh, how long are you going to hold me?" Grey asks. "Until we finish the first 5 death battles!" Juvia giggles. "THATS SO CREEPY!!" Grey shouts. "She looves him." Happy teases. "WATCH IT OR ILL PUNCH YOUR FACE IN, CAT!" Grey yells.

The show starts the death battle theme plays and then it shows some fighting games.

Wiz: Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat. Kings of the fighting genre. And every good fighter needs awesome villians.

"And we deal with Gajeel and Juvia!" Natsu exclaims. "Shut your trap, salamander!" Gajeel rages.

Boomstick: Like Akuma, the ultimate badass of martial arts.

Wiz: And Shang Tsung, the sorcerous vanguard of doom.

Boomstick: He's Wiz and I'm Boomstick.

Wiz: And, it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor, and skills to find who would win a Death Battle.

The first combatant is a man with glowing red eyes and a huge necklace, like the size of peaches.

Akuma

Wiz: Akuma, master of The Fist. Known as Gouki in Japan, he is a living weapon, ten times stronger than nearly every other Street Fighter.

Boomstick: Plus, he looks friggin' awesome, I totally want me some red, glowing eyes.

"Me too, I wanna intimidate my enemies!" Natsu exclaims again. "You already have that when you get angry." Lucy sweat drops.

Gou Hadoken:
Total control
Can fire multiple at once (reminds Erza of her heaven's wheel)
Shinku-Hadoken
Can be charged
Usable in midair (a lot of wizards can do that)
[Zanku Hadoken]

Wiz: Akuma has dozens of powerful special attacks including the Gou Hadoken. a powerful blast with precision control. He can even use the almighty Shinku-Hadoken, which is, basically, a giant fireball of death.

Boomstick: Man, if I ever fire a Hadoken in real life, I'mma die happy.

"I wonder, would Natsu be able to eat that?" Wendy ponders. "Probably, if it's a giant fireball." Natsu replies. "I feel like Akuma will really kill Natsu instead of him eating it." Gajeel says. "Shut up, you iron heart!" "Fire brain!" "Metal head!" Erza then stops them by glaring at them.

Special moves and attacks:

Wiz: Akuma also uses the Shoryuken uppercut, a teleport ability, a swift multi-striking hurricane kick, and the Hyakkishu, A.K.A the Demon Flip.

Boomstick: Also, Akuma's got tons of different Super Arts, but two really stand out. First there's the "Kongo...Kokuretsu Za... how do you say that?

Wiz: No idea.

Super arts:

"The raging demon" (sounds very threatening)
Literally translate to "instant hell murder" (my point exactly)

"They seem to be a bit lazy to this." Carla says.

Boomstick: Well, I'm pretty sure that's Japanese for "Fuck You Up!" 'Cause basically, Akuma punches the ground and things explode.

Announcer: K.O.

When Akuma punched the ground,  a man in white started flying. "Impressive, it would be interesting to do such a thing." Erza comments.

Boomstick: He shattered a whole friggin' island just by punching it. Holy shit!

"I WANNA PUNCH AN ISLAND NOW!" Natsu screams. "Aye sir!" Happy replies. "That's not physically possible!" Lucy exclaims.

Wiz: But that's not the deadliest move up his nonexistent sleeve. (Akuma uses his deadly move against Dan Hibiki and his health depleted afterwards) The Shun Goku Satsu, also known as the Raging Demon, literally means "Instant Hell Murder."

Boomstick: Man, I'm going to totally name my first kid that. The Raging Demon at full power is fatal, this guy's a frikin' onslaught of pain!

"That may the most powerful move I've seen." Pantherlily says. "Yeah, the raging demon sounds like an instant kill. I wonder..." Grey then imagines if it's possible to freeze Akuma just when he uses the raging demon. "Please don't think about fighting him my love, I don't want you to die!!" Juvia cries. "Geez, it was just a thought." Grey replies annoyed.

Wiz: That's right. Boomstick, Akuma lives for one thing, and one thing only: fighting. He travels the world day and night searching for worthy opponents. He's an unstoppable human Holocaust, losing only once to his brother Gouken, but after a brutal rematch...

The team feels some remorse for Gouken. Being murdered by your brother, it's like Zeref killing Natsu just for a rematch.

Boomstick: Oh hey, look he can fingerpaint!

"NOT FUNNY!!" Carla rages.

Wiz: It was rumored that Akuma sacrificed his soul to a demon in exchange for the strength to defeat Gouken, but this has been declared non-canon.

"Hopefully they will keep it that way." Erza says.

Boomstick: Akuma's got one major problem, though. His stamina is absolutely pathetic. He can dish out the pain, but he sure can't take it.

Natsu and Happy then laugh uncontrollably. "This guy's a glass canon!!" "And they talk about him like he's a threat!" "That's enough, Akuma may be weak in defense, but he is incredibly strong." Erza silences them.

Wiz: It's crucial for Akuma to have total control over the fight. He takes an extremely offensive approach. Always moving, always attacking.

Boomstick: Yeah, screw defense, Give me more ways to hurt people!

"That almost sounds like Natsu." Wendy jokes. "Meh, sounds pretty accurate." Natsu replies.

Akuma: I am Akuma, and I will teach you the meaning of pain!

Akuma seems interesting. Natsu and Happy likes his attacks but laughs at his stamina. Grey finds him very dangerous, especially with his raging demon. Gajeel and Pantherlily finds his shinku hadoken to be something to watch out for. Lucy considers him really strong, by punching an island. Erza ignores his glass canon and considers him a force to be reckon. Wendy thinks he is pretty scary, with his raging demon to kill a human being. Carla also considers him dangerous with his raging demon, but considers him alright if he were to control the battlefield. Juvia is scared that Akuma will kill her beloved, even though he is nowhere in this matchup.

The next combatant seems to be an old man in a purple robe.

Shang Tsung

Wiz: Shang Tsung is the cunning sorcerer from Outworld, and scheming pawn of Shao Kahn. He's extremely adapt in magic and a well-rounded fighter.

"This guy is also a magic user? I wonder how strong he is and what type of magic he uses!" Natsu says.

Boomstick: This guy can shoot flaming skulls, which is totally awesome, but, where the heck does he keep them? I mean seriously, how many skulls can a person carry around with them?

Flaming skulls:
Can attack in rounds of one, two, or three
Fire damage (Natsu could totally eat that)
Swift and deadly
Unlimited supply of human scalps (Wendy finds that a bit disturbing)

"That magic isn't very common. Some dark mages can do that." Lucy says. "If they're flaming skulls, then I have no problem, I could just eat them!" Natsu says.

Wiz: Tsung can teleport around the battlefield with the special move called "Hot Escape"

Hot escape:

Burns victims when appearing close enough
Sucker punch! (Lucy and Wendy laugh at that, and Erza chuckles)

Boomstick: Wah! Sucker punch, bitch!

Wendy laughs a bit on that.

Wiz: He can morph into whomever he wants, giving him tons of different skill sets, its like fighting a hundred different foes combined into one.

"There are some wizards who can do that." Erza says. "In fact, Lucy, you have a spirit who can morph into anyone, correct?" "Oh, You mean Gemini? Yeah, I do."

Boomstick: Man, I wish I could morph into anybody I wanted. I can have some fun with that!

"Did he just make a sexist joke?" Carla asks disappointed.

Boomstick: He also has a razor sharp Straight Sword, though he usually keeps it hidden for a surprise attack.

Straight sword:
About three feet long
Secretly hidden
Of unknown make
Prefers fists and magic over swordplay

"That straight sword seems to be effective, perhaps I should have one." Erza says.

Wiz: Shang Tsung possesses one other strange, but useful ability. Long ago, when he was caught cheating in the Mortal Kombat tournament, he was cursed, by the elder gods, to rapidly age until an untimely death. The only way to prevent this fate is to absorb the souls of his victims.

This gives a bit of anger to Tsung, this guy is a cheater, practically perfect for a dark guild. "I hope I'm not the only one who wants to give him a punch to the face." Gajeel says. The team agrees.

Boomstick: He can literally eat your soul. Your soul! Not only can this heal him, but he gets the memories of the souls he devoured.

Soul steal:
Sustains youth
Restores energy and health
Gains opponent's memory and skill
Uses skills for morphs

Wendy feels a bit scared and Carla notices this. "It's fine, child, Shang Tsung doesn't exist."

Wiz: This helps him copy the move sets of other fighters when he morphs.

Boomstick: So really, his curse became his deadliest weapon. Good punishment there, gods.

"Even I could've come up with a better punishment than that!" Grey says. "Like spanking me?" Juvia said. "That was one time, and it was on accident!!"

Wiz: Shang Tsung has lived and fought for over a thousand years. His sorcery, powers, and brutal Fatalities are rivaled by few, and he's claimed the title of grand champion of Mortal Kombat several times, Almost bringing about the winning streak necessary to allow Shao Kahn to invade Earthrealm, key word being "almost".

"What does he mean by that, exactly?" Pantherlily asks.

Boomstick: Yeah, unfortunately for Shang Tsung, he pretty much sucks at actually accomplishing his goals. He's super powerful, but like most villains, he can never get around some goody-two-shoes getting in the way of global take-over.

"Even if the goody Two shoes are Fairy Tail!" Natsu exclaims. "Aye!"

Wiz: His only notable victories have included treachery and deceit. But, keep in mind, Tsung's not fighting any ordinary meat-heads. He's fighting demons, sorcerers, and gods, and even in defeat, he somehow keeps coming back more lethal than ever.

Shang Tsung: You... will... DIE!

The team feel uncomfortable with Shamg Tsung. Natsu hates him for using his magic for murder, and so does Happy. Lucy finds him to be tricky with his morphing ability, like Gemini. Erza only finds his straight sword to be an interesting weapon. Gajeel isn't very fond of Shang Tsung. But Pantherlily thinks that he is skilled in deception and strategy. Juvia may not like him, but if he were to turn into Gray, that's a different story! Wendy feels scared with Shang Tsung's soul absorption and Carla tries to comfort her.

Wiz: All right the combatants are set, but before we end this debate, I need some rats for genetic testing.

Boomstick and Lucy: what?

Wiz: from gamefly

This is a tough one, both are strong, one is brute force, another is cunning, one is dangerous, another is deadly. "I would say Tsung, if he can trick Akuma, then why not?" Natsu says. "I think Shang Tsung has this too because he also has a morphing ability, and the fact that he's a glass cannon." Happy adds. "Yeah, but Akuma's really strong, he can do his raging demon to kill Tsung." Grey says. "Wait, but he's tenacious, wouldn't he want to challenge whatever soul Shang Tsung turns to? That would take ages!" Lucy said. "True, however, Akuma is incredibly strong by punching an island." Erza adds. "I just hope the old man dies by Akuma." Gajeel's says. "This is a tough one, the two are very strong." Pantherlily says. "I just want to be with my beloved!" Juvia says. "Ugh, this is so annoying." Grey says. "And what do you think child?" Carla says. "I would say Akuma, because if Shang Tsung has a lot of souls, they will all be destroyed." Wendy says. 

Boomstick: but right now, it's time for a Death Battle!!!

Akuma walks on the stage when Shang Tsung suddely appears behind him from his Hot Escape technique. Akuma jumps away to the other side of the battlefield, and prepares to fight.

The battle of the 2 most evil villains, who will win and who will lose?

FIGHT!

Tsung shoots a Flaming Skull, which Akuma dodges by jumping over. He shoots two Gohadokens in the air, and Tsung blocks them. Akuma attacks Tsung's feet, and knocks him even more off balance by hitting him with a hurricane kick. and knocks him in the air with a Shoryuken uppercut. While in the Air, Akuma hits him a few time and finishes the combo with a Shinku-Hadouken. Tsung lays on the ground and Akuma tries to finish him off, but Tsung transform into Scorpion.

Akuma stops and decides to see if this form is powerful enough to fight against, allowing him to get back up.

"Hey Natsu, why is Akuma doing your move? When you stop to see if your new faced-foe's worth the challenge." Grey says. "That's it after this battle, you're dead!" Natsu yells.

Scorpion: COME HERE!

Shang Tsung throws the Kunai spear at Akuma and drags Akuma over towards him. He uppercuts Akuma, cueing the "Toasty Guy", Dan Forden, to appear in the right corner of the screen.

Dan Forden: TOASTY!

The team just got confused on what just happened.

Shang Tsung then keeps him in the air by hitting him with flaming skulls that burst out of the ground. Akuma falls behind him and throws him to right. He them teleports behinds him and kicks him, which Tsung blocks. He fires a Hadouken, but Tsung uses Hot Escape to get away, then reappears and slashes Akuma with his sword. He then grabs Akuma and tries to steal his soul, which heals some of his health and drains some of Akuma's.

Wendy sees this very scary. Having your part of your soul taken.

But Akuma isn't gonna let it go. Akuma breaks out of it by hitting him with a Hurricane Kick. Tsung runs toward him, but Akuma catches him off guard using the Kongo Kokuretsu Zan, which knocks him in the air. He then teleports over, hits him a few times, and then throws him. Tsung then lands on his feet and transforms into Akuma.

The two prepare for battle.

The music tenses up.

This part determines which one will win.

The two Akuma's then jump in the air and they attack, blocking each others' moves. One of the Akuma knocks the other into the ground. and then tries to finish him off using the Kongo Kokoretsu Zan. However, the other Akuma grabs him and finishes him off with a Shun Goku Satsu. As one of the Akuma's stands with his back to the screen with the iconic heaven kanji confirming the kill, it is then shown that the Akuma lying dead on the ground is Shang Tsung, who shortly turns back into his original form, releasing his souls.

K.O.!

The team then starts to cheer for the badass fight. They then see the results.

Boomstick: Oh man, that was way too close!

Wiz: No kidding, Boomstick! Akuma's raw power and speed pressed a distinct advantage early on. But Tsung's own cleverness and wide array of skills quickly even the odds.

Boomstick: It looked like Akuma had the whole thing wrapped up, but Tsung's morphing trick saved his ass.

Wiz: Akuma's pride for battle almost cost his life, as he stopped to see if his new face was worth a challenge.

"That reminds me." After Natsu says that, he punched Grey in the face. "What's your problem?" Grey asks. "I said that after the fight, you're dead!" "Why you!" Then the two start fighting. "WOULD YOU TWO PLEASE KNOCK IT OFF?!" Lucy yells at them to calm down. Then Erza stops them the Erza way. Hitting them on the head. "Now, have we calmed down now?" "Yes ma'am" the boys say.

Boomstick: After switching up strategies, Tsung managed to steal enough of Akuma's soul for some extra health and new abilities.

Wiz: But, it wasn't enough. In the end Akuma's skills as a fighter proved unmatched.

Boomstick: I mean, Tsung loses to Liu Kang all the time,

When they showed Liu Kang, Erza, Lucy, Wendy, and Juvia blush to the looks of Liu Kang.

Boomstick: and compared to Akuma, Liu Kang's the nicest guy in the world.

Some of the team started to laugh as a happy face sticker was placed on Liu Kang's face

Boomstick: There was no way he could take Akuma's constant punishment.

Wiz: As Tsung isn't used to winning anything on his own, he wasn't perfect on delivering the final blow, leaving him wide open for the experienced Akuma to unleash his greatest weapon.

Boomstick: The Raging Demon of Instant-Hell-Murder-Awesomeness!

Wiz: And so Shang Tsung fell once again releasing his devoured souls, again.

Boomstick: Looks like Tsung's all souled out! Ha ha, get it, Wiz?

Wiz: The winner is Akuma.

"That was so awesome!!" Natsu yelled. "I WANNA FIGHT AKUMA! CMON LET ME AT 'EM!!" "Aye sir!" "I have a feeling you'll be doing this after every episode." Gajeel says. "Wait, who's next?" Lucy asks.

Boomstick: next time on death battle.

It shows a woman, preparing herself. Putting on her clothes and weapons. And then there was another voice

Rogue: good night sugar

Random guy: Oof!
