Lyon: Juvia!!!

Juvia: Hello Lyon.

Lyon: My darling Juvia. How are you on this fantastic morning?

Juvia: Juvia is doing alright, just waiting at the guild for Gray-sama.

Lyon: You know Juvia, if you joined my guild, there would be no waiting for someone to arrive. I would always be on time.

Juvia: And if Juvia didn't want to hang with you?

Lyon: Well er. What i meant is at Lamia Scale we believe in always being on time. 

Juvia: OHH!1 Juvia has to go, Juvia just saw Gray-sama walk in. Juvia will chat later!!1!

Lyon: and once again ya boi is lonely 

LATER THAT DAY (yeah, i hate timeskips as well)

Juvia: Hello Lyon.

Lyon: jUviA MESSAGED ME FIRST???!?!? IS THE WORLD ENDING!?!?!?!?

Lyon: Ignore that ^.

Lyon: What can I help you with this fair afternoon?

Juvia: Juvia would like to know what Lyon's favorite color is?

Lyon: My favorite color??

Lyon: I like blue. 

Lyon: Why are you asking me that, love?

Juvia: Oh, well Juvia planning something for Gray, and Juvia wants to know what color not to use to decorate and considering that Lyon's favorite color will likely be the color Gray despises most. 

Juvia: If that makes sense. 

Lyon: Yep, understandable.

Juvia: anyway Juvia must go now!!

Lyon: Goodbye Juvia.

Lyon: ya boi here will be spending the afternoon alone

Lyon: Again

ONCE AGAIN, LATER THAT DAY

Juvia: LYON

Juvia: PLEASE COME TO FAIRY TAIL AS SOON AS YOU CAN

Juvia: JUVIA NEEDS HELP

Lyon: IM ALREADY ON MY WAY

Lyon: I WAS BUSY, BUT THATS ALRIGHT

Lyon: I WOULD CANCEL ANYTHING FOR MY QUEEN. 

Juvia: Oh thank you Lyon!!!!

Lyon: I'm outside of the guild hall, and coming in in 3

Lyon: 2

Lyon: 1

"Surprise!" Is all Lyon hears as he kicks the guild hall doors open. All around him is blue streamers, balloons and tablecloths. And of course, the entirety of Lamia Scale and Fairy Tail waving their arms and smiling at him. 

"Last I checked my birthday was in 2 months? What's this?" Lyon asks, in total shock. Juvia walks up to him, pulling him over to a table of Lucy, Natsu, Erza, Gray and strangely Jellal. Lucy looks happy and trying to talk to Natsu, Natsu has already begun shoving food in his mouth, Gray glaring, and Erza and Jellal deep into an argument about what type of cake is best. 

Lyon stops walking about three feet away from the table, and Juvia, holding onto his wrist stops as well. "Juvia darling. As much as I am happy to see you, what is all of this? I thought this was a party for Gray, not me." He says indicating over to a sign that says 'Thank You Lyon!!!!'. 

Juvia giggles. "Well, mainly Juvia and her friends wanted to have a party, but we didn't exactly have a reason. So Juvia thought, 'Lyon has done so much for us and the guild! He deserves appreciation!' and here we are."

Lyon hastily wipes a tear from his eye. "Well. Thank you Juvia. And you as well." Sweeping his eyes over the rowdy group at the table. 

Gray grunts. "Not my idea, but I'm up for any party. Plus, this gives me the chance to beat your record of how many slices of cake you can eat." 

Lucy smiles at him. "You've done so much for us, and you really brighten up everyone's day with your attitude. At least sometimes. Usually. On a good day." She looks over at Natsu, who is still eating. 

"Oh uh." Natsu speaks with food in his mouth. "Thanks." Lyon's attention moves on from Lucy chiding Natsu about his manners to Erza and Jellal. 

"You're a pretty cool guy, and you have a good taste in cake. Unlike some people here." She ends her statement with a glare at Jellal. 

Jellal gulps and turns towards him. "Yeah, from what I've seen of you, you're powerful and on our side. Which is good." He awkwardly avoids eye contact going back to arguing with Erza. 

Juvia, with one last pat on the arm, walks over to Gray and pulls him onto the dance floor. Lyon ventures over to his guild, his friends. 

ya boi isn't going to be lonely this evening. 

dont even ask what this chapter is because i don't know myself. i just thought lyon needed some appreciation and attention apart from "being in the way" of Gruvia. also i was scrolling through my request page chapter and i saw this was requested. this probably wasn't what they had in mind whoops

also be on the lookout tonight for my new book. i'm going to attempt to post first chapter later (emphasis on attempt)
