Ever since that day you noticed that Gaster was more comfortable around you and wasn't as tense as he was before when you were around the brothers. It made you feel accomplished.

The wound has healed, but a giant scar was left to remind you about your first meeting with Gaster.

Today started just like any other usual day, you were just playing tag with Papyrus and Sans, running around the living room and trying to catch one of them, well mainly Papyrus as Sans would just use his powers to either teleport away or just float above your head and out of your reach.

"(Y/n)" You heard someone say from behind you, so you turned around to see Gaster standing there in his casual outfit.

Papyrus stopped running and Sans floated back down onto the ground, standing near his brother.

"Yes Gaster?" You asked, tilling your head to the side. Gaster cleared his throat before answering.

"I would like to show you around the underground." You smiled happily, but then frowned and looked at the brothers.

"Is it a good idea to leave them alone?" You asked a little unsure.

Gaster let out a small chuckle under his breath, appreciating the fact that you were worried about his children.

"Don't worry about that. I already called Indarra to watch over them." You tilled your head again, confused as to who it was.

As if on cue someone rung the bell. Gaster walked over to the door and opened it. You peeked over his shoulder to see a fish like man standing there and a smaller female one, probably a teen, standing besides him.

"Ah Indarra! Thank you for answering so quickly." Gaster said and moved to the side, letting the two monsters walk inside.

The older one smiled, showing of his sharp fangs and brought Gaster into a bear hug. You stiffed in a laugh as the skeleton didn't look amused

Indarra finally let go of him and then turned to you.

"Hello there! You must be the human Gaster told me about! I'm Indarra and this is my daughter Undyne!" He motioned to other monster that stood besides him and offered you a handshake.

(As Undyne's father name is unknown I made it up. I'm not going to explain how he looks like as I'm leaving it to your imagination oh and Undyne doesn't have her eye patch yet. Anyway back to the story!)

"Hi punk!" Papyrus ran over to the teenage girl with stars in his eyes while Sans just shrugged and made himself comfortable on the couch.

You awkwardly accepted the handshake.

"Name's (Y/n). Pleasure to meet you." Indarra pulled you into a hug just like he did with Gaster. Both of you stayed like that for a few seconds.

"If you don't mind I will be taking her now." Gaster said from behind you, irritation hearable in his voice.

Indarra shrugged, his grin not leaving his face, but let go of you like Gaster wanted.

You heard him(Gaster) huff and turned around to see him already ready, waiting for you.

You quickly walked over to him and he handed you a coat which you gladly accepted, putting it on.

Both of you walked out of the house, while Indarra had already settled down with the kids on the couch, starting to tell them stories about the war.

You happily looked around while walking, taking in the surroundings.

Gaster and few other monsters that you passed watched amused as you played around in the snow.

When you felt their eyes on you, you just turned around smiling like a child that just got his favourite candy.

You quickly catched up to him with your cheeks a little red from embarrassment, but your excitement not destroyed by that.

"Why are the monsters so calm about me being here? I thought that they hated humans." You asked a little confused by the fact that most of the monsters didn't mind you, some when smiling at you!

Gaster looked at you. "The king and queen already told the monsters that you aren't dangerous and you wouldn't hurt anyone."

"T..they know about me?" You saw them in the war and even if they were goat monsters they sure looked intimidating, especially with their height.

Gaster did his skeleton eye roll again. "Of course they know about you. When I almost...killed you and Papyrus stopped me and told me that I should help you, I went to the Royal family, to ask them about what to do with you. To my disappointment they agreed with him, so I did so. Maybe not killing you wasn't so bad after all..."

He said the last part in more quiet tone, but you managed to catch it. You smiled lightly and then nodded.

"That's good...at least I don't have to worry about anyone being scared of me..." Gaster nodded at that and the conversation died down. He showed you around the town and took you into the library.

When you saw all those books, you knew they were calling you and begging you to read them. He had to drag you out of there as you were already slipping into your own world of fantasy and books.

After that he took you to a bar. Both of you stopped in front of a building with a giant sign with Grillby's written over it.

"My friend is running this place. I'd like you to meet him."

You nodded and Gaster opened the door, walking into the bar. You followed him and was meet with nice and warm atmosphere of the place.

Few monsters that were there turned to look at both of you, before going back to what they were doing.

What caught your attention tho was a monster behind the counter. He was completely made out of fire and was cleaning something in his hand.

Gaster walked over to the counter and sat down on one of the stools, you followed, doing the same.

"Hello Gaster. Same as usuall?" The fire elemental asked and you managed to see his mouth, almost invisible because of the fire.

Gaster shook his head. "Not this time Grillby. This is (Y/n). The human Asgore and Toriel talked about.

Grillby turned to you, giving you a small, welcoming smile.

"Pleasure to meet you. My name is Grillby." He said, offering you a handshake.

You hesitated for a second, worried that he might burn you, but accepted anyway.

For your suprise his hand was hot, but not hot enough to hurt you. You looked at it with awe earning a chuckle from Grillby and an eye roll from Gaster.

The fire elemental let go of your hand and went back to cleaning.

Suddenly you heard a phone ringing, Gaster taking it out of his pocket and answering.

He stayed quiet for few seconds, his expression going from relaxed to worried.

"Understood. I will be there in an instant." He then hung up.

He turned to you and sighed. "There's a problem at the lab, one of the machines broke and I'm needed there. Could you stay here for a while? I will come back as quickly as I can."

You nodded, giving him a reasuring smile. "Yea! No worries Gaster."

He sighed in relief. "Thank you." And in a flash of blue he was gone.

You turned to Grillby, felling awkward as you didn't know anyone in here.

Grillby looked at you.

"So...how did you ended up staying with Gaster?"

"In the dark-"

Me: *realizes how many chapters I have left to write*

Really...help me... I don't know if I will have ideas to make so many chapters, but I don't want to make them shorter either...
