"Wake up! Hey, kid! Wake UP!"

Cloud groaned. She looked up and met yellow eyes. "Ah!" She yelled, suddenly awake.

She backed up and blinked at what she saw. A blue-ringed, yellow-eyed umbreon? How?

"Uhh. . . ." Cloud grabbed her headphones and slipped them on, unable to think of anything else to do.

The strange umbreon signaled for Cloud to follow him and ran into the bushes. Cloud walked after him beyond the bushes was a town. It had strangely colored eevees and their evolutions, which were also different colors, everywhere! The eevees were the same color as Cloud and not afraid of each other or making fun of one another! Cloud blinked and looked around nervously.

"What is your name, little eevee?" The umbreon asked her.

"Cloud, sir."

"Sir? Call me Blue." The strangely colored umbreon smiled.

"Yes, s — Blue." Cloud corrected herself. That smile of Blue's was. . . . Comforting.

"Well, what are your parents names? I'll help you find them!" Blue asked enthusiastically.

"They live in another town. . . . They are a yellow-ringed, red-eyed umbreon and a glaceon. She is a little darker than your glaceons." Cloud explained awkwardly.

Blue frowned. "Then how are you shiny?"

Cloud was just as puzzled as he was. "Shiny?" As far as she knew, she hadn't shined lately.

"It's what we call ourselves when we are a different color. You are a different color, you are shiny." Blue said, as if Cloud should know this.

"But everyone in my old town made fun of me." Cloud said, confused why they would do that now she knew there was nothing wrong with her.

"They probably didn't know. Being shiny isn't a bad thing." He reassured her.

"So what are we gonna do?" She asked him.

"Get you a shiny family. I can tell it is dangerous for you to return home." Blue smiled again.

Cloud felt homesick, then remembered Dan. "Ok."

"You need to see the place first. I'll be your guide." And Blue walked off, followed by Cloud.

Blue led Cloud around town. He showed Cloud everything. The food table, the stores, everything you could want in a town.

Later that day, at sunset, Blue introduced Cloud to her new parents.

"The leafeon is Lucy and the vaporeon is Geyser." Blue explained.

"Thank you, Blue. Thank you, Lucy and Geyser."

"Mom and dad." Lucy smiled.

Cloud nodded and collapsed on the couch.

"Poor thing is probably drained. She can sleep there for tonight." Lucy said before walking upstairs with Geyser.

"Yeah." Blue said. She is beautiful even when she is asleep. Blue thought. I just hope she doesn't fall for anyone.

And with that, Blue walked home. Little did any of them know a pair of blue eyes were watching them.
