Cloud woke up and walked to the food table. She started to eat when someone spoke: "Hey, sweetheart."

Cloud choked and coughed. When she had gotten the food out she looked up at a sylveon. Except this sylveon was the normal pink instead of blue.

"Are you ok?" He asked. "I didn't mean to startle you."

"Well, you did." Cloud said, going back to her food.

"Sorry, Beautiful." He smiled and Cloud almost choked again.

"What?" Cloud asked.

"Well, you are beautiful." He smiled again, but it was more of a smirk.

"I'm your Venus. I'm your fire. Your desire." Cloud sang, trying to clear her mind. Apparently it wasn't quiet enough.

"That's one way to put it." He laughed. "You have a beautiful voice."

Cloud blushed. "T-thanks." He liked her? Was he out of his mind?

Meanwhile, Blue watch from the bushes.

Ah! The flirt is trying to win her heart! How dare he? Blue thought. I'll tear him apart! He won't know what hit him when - is she blushing? No! He'll win her heart if I don't step in!

Cloud smiled at him. "What's your name?" She asked.

"Lyio." He said, smiling. "Your's? I have a feeling it's not Beautiful."

"Oh, it is." Cloud smirked, looking away from Lyio.

"Really?" Lyio asked, obviously surprised.

"Nah. It's -"

"I found you!" Blue exclaimed, walking out of the bushes. "I wanted to go berry-picking with you today!"

"Ok! Show me where!" Cloud smiled. When Blue turned, she whispered, "Cloud," to Lyio and ran after Blue.

Blue led Cloud to a bush as far away from the food table as possible and whispered to her. "People like him like to toy with people's emotions. I don't want you hurt, so just watch out, ok?"

Blue was lying. He just wanted Cloud all to himself, but Cloud fell for it.

"That's horrible!" She shouted.

As they picked berries, Cloud thought about that. Lyio? A harsh heart-breaker? But as she thought of him, he seemed to appeal to her more and more. She decided she would find out for herself.

And she snuck away from Blue and ran. She found a clearing and sat in it. In minutes she heard movement and someone spoke. "Are you sure? She is so young, a shiny eevee, even!"

Cloud's instincts told her to hide, so she jumped in the bushes and a patch of flowers. She listened.

"Cloud is caring and nice. She is beautiful. She is perfect." A familiar voice said. "It's so amazing she arrived today."

"But the people her are intelligent. That buffoon might have found out -"

"It was a big fat lie." It didn't sound like who Cloud thought it was, but it could not be anyone else. It was him. She knew it.

Cloud then did the sensible thing. She ran.

As she ran, she realized she knew the other voice too. She ran faster.

She arrived at a building made of roots, thorns, leaves and other outdoor things.

She sat next to it. She was sure she had attracted their attention being so loud as she fled.

Dan and Lyio had been talking about her in the forest where they thought they were alone. Why?

A faint rustle came from the bushes. They were coming.

Cloud knocked. When the door opened, she rushed inside.

"What is such a small thin' goin' around this place?" A flareon asked. Was he. . . . SMOKING? Cloud panicked.

"Can I hide here? Please!" Cloud begged.

"From what?" The smoking flareon asked.

"These people are chasing me!"

"We gotta make a deal if ya wanna favor." The flareon said. "Ya -"

"Anything!" Cloud heard a knock.

The flareon hid Cloud in a box and opened the door. "'Ello, sirs."

"Have you seen a shiny eevee?" Dan snarled.

"Nah. Now whadaya want?" The flareon demanded.

"Nothing. C'mon, Dan." Lyio stomped out.

When they were gone, the flareon smiled. "Ey, come on out. They're gone."

Cloud climbed out from the box.

"We made a deal, lil' one. Ya gotta come with me now." The flareon smirked. He walked off.

Cloud followed, but she did not want to.

"What do I have to do?" Cloud stared at the rusty walls. Was that blood splattered on the walls?

"Ya gotta figh' someone. For our entertainment." The flareon sighed. "I really wish you didn't 'ave ta, but boss said anyone. 'E is impatient. If 'e found out I let ya go. . . ."

"What is your name?" Cloud asked.

"Nunya. Now c'mon. This is the arena room." The flareon growled, but he seemed to want to turn her around.

Cloud shivered. She walked in.

"Up on the arena, kid." The flareon said. Cloud could hear the sadness in his voice.

"I'll be fine." Cloud reassured him, but she knew she would not be.

Cloud walked forward, knowing this was her doom.
