Cloud walked forward, knowing this was her doom.

A magmar stood there. He blinked when he saw her.

Then he laughed. "This little thing? Tell me this is a warm-up!"

Cloud stared up at him. "I may be little, but obviously your skull is too big for your small brain."

"Oh, really?" The magmar smiled.

"Really, idiot. Now what are we here for?"

"You seem hasty to lose." The magmar smirked.

"I'm just looking forward to never seeing that ugly face of yours again." Cloud growled.

The magmar growled. "You dare —"

"I'm getting bored." Cloud complained. "This guy is all talk and no muscle."

The magmar was furious. He threw the first punch. Maybe his little brain could not process that that was just what Cloud wanted.

She jumped and as she landed she heard music playing.

"Can't touch this. . . ." Cloud muttered, then she started to smirk.

She didn't know how, but the music seemed to give her power. She dodged and eventually countered and started attacking.

Cloud was not really paying attention when her Swift knocked the magmar over. He was scratched and scorched (his attacks had flown back at him a couple times) and Cloud partly felt bad. She walked on top of him and tried to tell if he was ok.

Big mistake.

The magmar punched Cloud off himself. Cloud hit the ground with such force the audience gasped. Cloud jumped up and noticed the song had changed.

"A day may come when we lose. But it is not today. Today we FIGHT!"

After a couple of seconds, Cloud started dancing. She threw in attacks as she danced, doing both what she wanted to and what she was supposed to do. Her dancing also confused the magmar.

Cloud jumped behind the magmar and disappeared from it's vision.

Cloud used Swift then tackled the magmar.

The magmar growled. "You have got nothing against me!"

But soon enough the magmar could not balance on his own two feet. He was exhausted.

Cloud knocked him to the ground with a Swift and sat down when she saw the magmar fall.

She wiped some sweat from her forehead and steadied her breathing.

"Amazing! Someone beat him!" A voice yelled, startling Cloud so much she flew a couple inches into the air.

"W-what?" Was all she could say.

"We have been saved! What is your name, young hero?" A vaporeon jumped out of the shadows into the ring. She smiled at Cloud.

"W-what?"

"Your name! We have been saved! I must know my hero's name!" The vaporeon yelled.

"Cloud, ma'am." Cloud stood.

"My name is Karen. Please, I must give you something for being my hero!" Karen smiled.

"I don't know what I could ever wish for." Cloud sighed. Now she got a wish?

"Let me live in your village! If you ever need me, I'll always be there!" Karen pleaded.

Cloud smiled. "If you want."

As they walked home, Cloud thought she saw a glow in the bushes, but it was gone when she looked twice.

When Cloud got home after getting Karen a house, she ran into her room and started to clean herself up. As she did, she sang.

Cloud finished. She was clean and her cuts and bruises were not stinging as much. All that was left was sleep.

So Cloud jumped on her bed and closed her eyes, letting dreams engulf her and letting her worries drift away.
