Cloud woke up the next day happy as ever. I'm a hero. She reminded herself. I wanna save someone again.

Saving felt good to Cloud. Saving people made Cloud feel happy, knowing she could have just saved generations of talented people.

Cloud marched out her door that day looking around for a problem she could help solve.

Soon she saw it.

She turned her head to see a house on fire. She panicked a little, then ran to Karen's house. She knocked.

Karen opened the door with a wide smile. "What can I do for you, my hero?" She asked.

"Please, call me Cloud." Cloud insisted. "And a house is on fire! Please help me put it out!"

Karen smiled. "At your service!"

Together they ran to the burning house. Karen immediately put it out. They walked in to look for fires they didn't get and the people who owned the house. They found a family of five. A sylveon told them the flareon had accidentally made a fire that spread before they could stop it. A little eevee stood, scared, next to the flareon. Another eevee came up and watched the sylveon tell Cloud and Karen about the fire.

"U-uh, um, thank you." She said shyly.

"You're welcome." Cloud smiled. The little eevee smiled back.

Another sylveon stood there, checking for any fires Cloud and Karen missed. Cloud hoped the family could recover soon and wished them luck before walking out the door, Karen beside her.

The shy eevee walked out of the door and said to her, "We owe you, miss. If there is anything we can do for you, please tell us. We will try to help." Then she walked back into her house, and Cloud had that happy feeling again.

Cloud walked Karen home. She noticed some people staring at Karen. "That was. . . . Exciting." Cloud commented.

Karen laughed. "Very."

Cloud laughed as well. Then they arrived at Karen's house. "Well, see you later, Karen."

"Yeah. Call me if you ever need a fire put out!" Karen laughed, closing her door.

Cloud chuckled as the door closed. "Karen, Karen."

Cloud walked away, past the forest. She thought she saw a glow, but it was gone the second she thought about it.

She walked on. Then she heard a noise. It was coming from the forest. She walked to it. She looked through a bush and tried not to make any noise. She had to cover her mouth to stop the gasp when she saw. . . .

Cliffhanger! I'm gonna love writing the next chapter! And the family of five is based off my family. As you can tell, I'm the shy little eevee. If you have read my randomness book(s), you'll know about the rest.
