Third Person's POV

The following two weeks pass quickly with Rajveer's wounds healing properly without any complications due to Shalini's medicines and Naina's care.

One morning, Naina is about to go to her first class of the day with Subedar Lolita Sen when she an orderly approaches her.

He gives her an envelops saying it contains the scoring form for her overall performance in the last mentorship camp, which should be filled by her mentor.

He also tells her that Brigadier Chandok has canceled the first class of the day to give each protégé time to take the form to their mentor, who will fill it up.

The orderly informs her that after the mentor fills up and signs the form, the protégé should co-sign it and hand it over to Subedar Sen within one hour.

Nodding at the orderly, she thanks him and walks toward Rajveer's quarter, happy to have gotten an opportunity to spend some time alone with him.

------------------------

As always, Naina barges inside Rajveer's quarter without knocking, and what she sees widens her eyes and dries her mouth.

"Naina, what are you doing here so early in the morning?" Rajveer is surprised as well as flustered to see Naina in his quarter when he is wearing nothing but a boxer.

He had just returned from jogging and had gone to take a shower only to realize that he had left his towel in the living room.

So, he had come out only in the boxer to get the towel, but Naina barged inside before he could take the towel and return to bathroom.

Naina tries hard but is unable to utter a word.

All she could do was travel her eyes on her handsome boyfriend's bare chest, his chiseled muscles, and his well-toned abs.

She could feel her cheeks heating up, and before she could embarrass herself by doing or saying something, she quickly squeezes her eyes shut.

"I am so sorry, Rajveer. I did not know that you were.... Well, of course, I did not know. I do not know your morning routine. I do not know when you stay in your boxers. It is ok if you want to stay in your boxers all day because you have a great body. I mean, you are a soldier, and you should have a great body, and you really do. And I should....," Naina trails off, gasping when she realizes what she had been blabbering.

She decides to keep quiet, knowing whatever she will say now will only embarrass her further.

'Great way to start your day with him, Naina. Just great. Why did you have to blurt out that he has a great body?' She thinks, hoping for some miracle to turn back the time so she can take back those words.

'Did she just say that I have a great body and I should stay in boxers all day?' Rajveer muses, smiling and looking fondly at her.

The way she had blushed after saying that and the way she has now squeezed her eyes shut to avoid looking at him.

'She is just so adorable.'

He feels like teasing her for a while, but seeing her whole face getting red due to embarrassment, he decides to let it go.

"It is ok, Naina. You need not apologize. It was my mistake that I did not lock the door. Wait here for a while. I will wear some clothes and come out," Rajveer says, and walks to his bedroom.

Naina slightly relaxes when she hears his bedroom door being closed.

She cannot help but think about his great body.

'Oh, those chiseled muscles and those perfect abs.' She wonders how it would feel to touch those perfect abs.

Naina was still daydreaming about Rajveer and his body when she heard his bedroom door being opened.

"So, Naina, what brings you here so early in the morning?" Rajveer asks.

"I am really sorry, Rajveer. I promise I will knock from next time before coming to your room, not that you will always be in your boxers." Naina clasps her mouth, barely cotrolling her groan at what she said again.

She looks at Rajveer, noticing him gazing at her with amusement quirking his lips.

"I am sorry. I do not know what.... I am just saying that I will learn to knock from now on," she finishes lamely, wanting to run away from the room as soon as possible.

'So much for spending some quality time alone with him,' she chides herself.

Naina's behavior highly amuses Rajveer.

He finds that he likes this shy, flustered Naina and wonders how many more layers of personality she has.

'No matter how many layers she has, I am sure that I will love each one of them,' he thinks, looking lovingly at her.

"You do not need to knock. You have all the right to come inside my room unannounced," he tells her.

"You still have not told me, Naina. Why are you here so early in the morning? Usually, you have a class with Subedar Sen during this time."

"Yes. But Brigadier Chandok has canceled all the morning classes," Naina informs him. "All the cadets are given this scoring form to be filled up by their mentors. It is about a protégé's overall performance in the last mentorship program. After you complete this form, I need to co-sign it and give it to Suri Sen in forty-five minutes."

"Oh, ok. Give the form to me then," Rajveer says, and Naina hands him the form.

Their hands touch while she gives him the form, and Naina feels a shiver run down her spine with that simple touch.

"Control yourself, Naina. Yes, he is yours, but you cannot be this wanton in need for him," she mutters under her breath, and Rajveer frowns, looking at her flushed face.

"Are you fine, Naina?" He asks.

"Yes. I am fine," Naina answers, sitting on the couch in front of him while he takes the form out of the envelope and starts filling it.

Currently, Rajveer is busy filling up the form, Naina is busy looking at him.

Rajveer is aware of every single glance Naina is throwing in his direction, and although he longs to take her in his arms, he controls himself because he needs to complete filling the form so she can submit it to Subedar Sen in time.

Suddenly, there is a knock at the door.

"Naina, please see who is at the door," Rajveer says to her, and Naina walks to the door to open it.

An orderly was standing at the threshold.

"Cadet Naina Singh, you have a call waiting for you," the orderly informs her.

After thanking the orderly, Naina turns to Rajveer. "Umm, I have a call waiting. Shall I go?"

Rajveer nods his head, telling her to go, and after she leaves, he continues to fill up the form.

------------------------

Naina returns to the quarter after ten minutes, looking scared and guilty.

Looking at her nervous demeanor, Rajveer is immediately concerned.

"Are you fine, Naina? Whose call was it?" He asks.

"The call was from my parents," Naina replies, albeit cautiously.

'What was I thinking, saying that to my parents without asking Rajveer first? This will not only affect my life but will affect his life too.' She bites her bottom lip in an attempt to curb her anxiety.

Rajveer wonders why Naina is looking so scared answering him. "What did they say? Is everything ok at your house? Why do you look so scared, Naina?"

"Umm, they told me about a boy's proposal for me for the marriage. They wanted me to return home to meet the boy," Naina answers.

Standing from the couch, Rajveer walks toward where Naina was standing.

'How can someone else come and even see her for marriage? No one can, and no one will. Naina is mine. Just mine,' is the only thought running in his head as Rajveer stands up from the couch and walks to where Naina was standing.

"You refused them, right?" he asks when he reaches near her, looking intently at her.

Naina feels a pleasant shiver run through her body, seeing him looking that way at her. "Actually, I told them I cannot meet the boy because I like someone else," she says hesitantly.

"Oh. So, you told them about us?" Rajveer feels relieved after hearing that she refused to meet the boy.

"I am sorry, Rajveer. I know I should have discussed with you first before telling my parents about us. When I told them your name, they were so happy, thinking I have chosen the right person for me that they want us to come home and meet them. I do not know what I was thinking. I am so sorry." Naina looks guiltily at Rajveer.

Rajveer was confused about to why she was apologizing to him.

He is not angry at all. In fact, he is happy that her parents now know about their relationship. And what more? They are even delighted after knowing about it.

"Naina, why are you saying sorry? And why do you look so scared? Did you think that I would be angry after hearing that you told your parents about us?" He asks, but when Naina does not say anything, he resumes speaking.

"Well, if you thought that, then you are completely wrong, Naina. I am not angry at all. In fact, I am so happy that they know about us now and even happier that they approve of our relationship."

"When have they called us to meet them then?" He asks her.

"Are you sure you want to come with me, Rajveer? I mean, there is no pressure. I will think of an excuse. You don't have to come if you don't want to," Naina says, not wanting to disrupt his teaching schedule by taking him to meet her parents. They can go home together during the vacation.

"No, Naina. I want to go and talk with your parents about us," Rajveer says.

"Are you sure? Will you really come with me then?" Naina asks him with excitement marring her face, and Rajveer nods at her, smiling at her excited demeanor.

Yes, they have confessed their love for each other, and yes, she is his now.

But he will be happier if her parents also gave them their blessings after meeting them and approving their relationship.

"Just tell me when we will be going so I can also take a leave from Brigadier Chandok," he says.

Naina feels like she is on cloud nine after hearing Rajveer.

She is glad that he is not angry with her, and he has also agreed to go with her to meet her parents.

With that thought continuing to make her smile, she quickly walks to him and gives him a tight hug.

"Thank you, Rajveer. Thank you so much," she murmurs against his chest, and Rajveer smiles, hugging her back.

Naina then starts roaming her hands on his back, touching him sensually, burying her face near his neck, and giving him soft kisses there.

Rajveer closes his eyes, relishing in the feeling that her lips on his skin were evoking in him.

He clutches her waist tightly, pulling her closer to her, not wanting to have any distance between them.

Lost in her haze of passion for him, Naina raises her hands to undo his shirt's button, all the while kissing his neck.

"Naina," Rajveer softly says her name lifts up her face to press his lips against hers.

He kisses her slowly, savoring the movement of her soft lips against his.

After a few seconds, he sucks her bottom lip, and she opens her mouth, letting him in.

Rajveer languidly explores her mouth with his tongue, savoring her sweet taste.

No matter how many times he kisses her, he never seems to get enough of it.

Her lips are so soft, her taste so addictive that he knows that even if he kept kissing her every moment of every day, even that would not be enough for him.

"Rajveer," Naina moans his name when he raises his hand to her chest and slowly strokes her breasts.

This was the first time he touched her there, and she felt too good, feeling his hands there.

Rajveer is surprised when Naina does not stop him.

Instead of pushing him or shying away from him, she was moaning and pulling him to her.

With great difficulty, he leaves her lips and steps back from her, trying to calm himself and his raging desire for her.

"What happened, Rajveer?" Naina is confused by his abrupt withdrawal.

"Why didn't you stop me, Naina?" He asks her, and she frowns at him.

"Why would I stop you? I was not feeling uncomfortable. In fact, I was feeling....," she trails off, tucking her hair behind her ear shyly, feeling her cheeks warm due to what she was going to say.

"Naina, we are at the academy. We should not be--" Rajveer begins to say, but Naina keeps her finger over his lips, not letting him complete the sentence.

"We love and want each other, Rajveer. There is nothing wrong with it, and we should not feel guilty about it," she tells him.

"I know that, Naina. And believe me, I neither feel we are doing anything wrong nor feel guilty about being in a relationship with you. It's just that we need to control ourselves more when we are in the academy," Rajveer says, and Naina narrows her eyes at him.

"Well, Captain Shekhawat, it was not me who lost control. It was you who started to...." Naina blushes and turns away from him, and Rajveer smiles, seeing her shy avatar.

"What did I start, Naina?" He teases her and chuckles when she turns back to him and lightly smacks him on his chest.

"So, tell me. When will we be going to meet your parents?" He asks.

He will have to talk with Brigadier Chandok and make some excuse to get his leave approved.

Also, he will have to call Chaubey and ask her to keep an eye on Ritu Mishra. Although she cannot enter the place where the triggers are kept without the access card, he still cannot take a chance.

Moreover, he will also need to request Colonel Chandra to grant him leave and appoint a new officer as his substitute for a few days while he is away.

"Can we go over this weekend after four days? There is a reason because of which my parents are so adamant about getting me married quickly," Naina says reticently. She knows Rajveer will be furious after hearing the reason.

"What reason, Naina?"

"Major Bhargav called my parents yesterday and told them about everything that happened during and after the mentorship camp. He told them all about the rumors about us and told them how my reputation was degraded in the academy after we returned from the camp," Naina tells Rajveer and sees anger clouding his face.

Rajveer swears under his breath. 'That slime. How dare he play Naina and her parents like this?'

He knew why Bhargav had done that. The slimeball must have thought that once Naina's parents knew what had happened, they would call their daughter back for the marriage.

But that good for nothing Bhargav could not have comprehended that Naina would take him with her, and her parents would also approve of his and Naina's relationship.

"Do not worry, Naina. We will go together to your house and explain to your parents everything that had happened at that time. I promise I will fix this," Rajveer tells Naina, and she nods at him, trusting him to fix everything.
