Day: Didn't I already say it was gonna stay Thursday for a while. So, it's still Thursday. Sorry to disappoint you.

( Gary's POV )

It took everything in me not to run to Leaf. She looked as if she was hurting, badly. I wanted to kill Sky with all my power, but what I wanted even more than a dead Sky was to be able to touch Leaf again. I might just kiss her the very moment I had the chance. And that moment wasn't now.

"Sky?"Misty questioned. But I only looked at Leaf. Arceus, why was she so beautiful? Even with all those bruises, she looked as if she came straight out of a fairytale. Her brown hair was messy, but still beautifully flowing behind her. Her hands were tied up, and Sky didn't seem to really care about Leaf's condition. The man wasn't anywhere to be found. Didn't matter. I had business with Sky, not with whoever worked with her. He wasn't important.

"Yes, I'm Sky."Sky said in an uninterested voice. "Now could we please skip the part with the, how could you, and go on to the other part." I gritted my teeth and clenched my fists. She didn't sound like she regretted making Leaf this injured. May tried to calm me down, unsuccessful.

"How?"Misty asked. Didn't Sky just literally ask Misty to skip this part? "How have you lied to me without anyone noticing, how..." A gunshot. It missed Misty, but this time it seemed like that was her intention, to miss. "How have you been able to kill?"Misty went on. Sky stuck out her gun, aiming at Misty.

"I told you, skip that part."Sky said, breathing heavily. What was her problem? Leaf was on her knees, struggling to stay awake. Sky put her hands on the trigger, getting ready to fire. May's grip on my shoulder tightened. Then Sky pulled the trigger. May got up as quickly as she could and stumbled to Misty, pushing her away. If May hadn't done that the bullet would've surely hit Misty. But now it hit May in her belly. She fell on the ground gasping for air, her hands on the wound the bullet had made. It was bleeding uncontrollably.

"May!"Drew yelled. He jumped out of the tree, kneeling down when he reached May. He took off the black shirt that belonged to the suit, using it as bandage for May. May screamed out of pain, but I took this time to stumble my way to Leaf.

"Gary."she breathed. I untied the rope tied around her hands. I quickly looked at Sky. She gritted her teeth, but just took out something. I couldn't see what. I freed Leaf.

"Go, run."I whispered to her, and I ran to Sky. I tried to punch her, but she dodged me easily.

"You'll regret coming!"Sky yelled, and she pushed a button on something. We heard a soft explosion. We could see smoke coming up in the distance. "My family died in a fire."Sky said. This girl wasn't sane. "It's only ironic they die in an explosion." It hit me hard. The place she just blew up, was our school gym. The place where they would be holding the dance, where Dawn and Paul were right now.

"No!"I screamed. Misty stood up, her eyes had changed. There was no spark of confidence in her anymore, only a look as if she was dead. A look of horror. She slowly came towards Sky.

"How dare you?"she said. There was no sign of any humanity left in both girls. Misty pulled out a weapon, a kitchen knife. A damn sharp one. But Sky didn't seem to be afraid, she smiled. She smiled wickedly at Misty.

"Oooooh, did I anger you?"she said in a baby voice.

Misty jumped up holding the knife above Sky. But Sky rolled on the ground under Misty, dodging her knife. Misty got with both feet on the ground. Sky took out a knife herself, but a fighting knife. Red had taught me about those. They couldn't come into your skin with much ease, like the kitchen knife, but it hurted so much more than a regular knife. Not to mention she was still holding a gun. I looked at Ash's hiding place, but he had already left it and was now running towards Sky.

I heard a gunshot, and came running towards Sky and Misty. But Sky wasn't the one who had fired the gun. And the bullet went from a longer distance through the air. It hit its mark, Ash. Ash silently fell on the ground. Whoever had shot, he or she forgot to change his sleep darts into bullets. But it had hit Ash in a nasty place, his neck. And then I heard another gunshot. I looked around, and this time it was, indeed, Sky that had shot. Which meant it was an actual bullet, aimed at Misty.

But it had missed luckily, and it hit a nearby tree. I ran to Ash, examining the sleep dart. It wasn't one of the weapons Red had taught me about. I didn't know what it was, but I knew it would be over faster if I removed the dart. So I did. Ash stayed unconscious, and I was sure he would for quite some time. I looked the way to the school, and prayed Dawn and Paul were alright. I clumsily stood up and ran Misty's way.

( Misty's POV )

She was extremely quick. Guess Sky had faked her slow running too. Her swings with her knife were faster than I could dodge. Some scraped me a bit, some strikes cut me. And on top of that, she dodged almost all my blows. Another gunshot. From Sky's gun again. I ducked, which didn't have any effect at all, since the bullet was aimed at my foot. I grunted, but kept attacking. Stopping now, would just mean Sky was gonna kill me. Gary ran to us, pinning Sky on the ground. She lashed out with her knife, cutting Gary's back severely. Gary screamed, but didn't move an inch.

"Gary, out of my way!"I shouted. Maybe that would give him time to rest. That wasn't a wound he shouldn't treat. But Gary was stubborn and didn't listen to me.

Instead he yelled, "Get out of here!" Sky struggled to get out of Gary's grip, but without any effect. I laid down my knife for Gary, and prayed to Arceus he didn't need it.

Another gunshot. And it didn't come from Sky, but from further away. I tried to turn around, but tripped with my injured foot. And that was Arceus' way of telling he was on our side. A bullet, not a sleep dart, flew through the air at where I had just stood. It would've hit my forehead if I had turned around without falling. I quickly tried to get up, and crawled my way to hide behind a tree, panting. My foot hurt like hell, but I ignored it and turned to look how Gary was doing.

His grip on Sky seemed to loosen a bit, since her struggles had more outcomes. But Gary did his best to keep her on the ground. I saw Leaf in a corner of my eye, slowly crawling her way to my knife. Thank Arceus I had taken it with me. Now Sky freed herself from Gary's grip and threw him on the ground. Gary had an expression showing just how much pain he had. She picked up her knife that she had let go to get out of Gary's grip. Gary was already too injured to get up, so she didn't even bother with him. She walked to me, slowly. So I quickly turned around, hoping she hadn't seen me behind this tree.

"You can hide all you want, Misty,"Sky began talking. "But it won't prevent you from dying right here, this moment. Getting exactly what you deserve. What do you say, Waterflower? Ready to die?" A gunshot. I didn't know who fired it, but I didn't care. I breathed faster and faster. My hearing started to worsen with every loud sound I heard. I heard screams, gunshots, and I could still hear the loud explosion.

I looked at the sky. You could still see smoke from where the explosion had been. I hoped Dawn and Paul had somehow survived. I tried to get up, to run. But my foot hurt too much, and I knew running was no longer an option. So I turned around, thinking I would be facing Sky. Only to see her laying on the ground, grabbing her bloody leg. Another gunshot, and a bullet flew through the air, hitting sky in her shoulder. A scream of pain. That scream I had heard, it had been from Sky.

I looked up, hoping to see who had shot that bullet. And I saw some movement on the rooftop. Ash had been behind that building, but he wasn't the one on top of it. Right now, Ash lay on the ground, sleeping. Then who was the person on the rooftop? I didn't have any time to think about it, because I heard a motor tearing over the ground. I looked to where the sound was coming from.

( Paul's POV )

Dawn dragged me by the hand to dance. I didn't know how to dance. I didn't know what to do when I was around her. So I just did whatever felt right, and soon I felt comfortable dancing together. Nobody was watching us, since we were just a couple, dancing. Ursula or Brianna were nowhere to be found, so this would be one hell of a night. I spotted some people I knew. No one I was close to. After two songs, I took Dawn's hand and brought her to sidelines to give her something to drink. We had the best job out of all of them. And she looked beautiful.

"I'm glad I was able to get you in that dress instead of out there."I said, my face the same, but my voice sounded happy. She smiled. I thought she looked beautiful before, but that wasn't true. She looked absolutely stunning. I saw Kenny nearby, but the guy was smart and stayed away.

"I do wonder how the others are doing."Dawn replied. And I nodded. Ash, Gary and Drew were all out there. It was dangerous there, not here. And I knew how badly Drew had wanted to go to this dance with May. He would leave by tomorrow, no matter if they won, or if they didn't. "I hope they're alright."

"They are."I assured her. "If anything happens to them, it'll be later. It hasn't been that long since we parted. I guess they're there now for about a minute. We don't have to worry, yet. Have noticed someone not being here?"

"No, why?"

"I wondered,"I said slowly. "If the killer is with Misty, she can't be here. So whoever isn't here, is the killer."

"Oh, right."Dawn said, suddenly very interested in who wasn't here. "I forgot the killer was in this school. I was just too focused on other things." I nodded, getting what she meant. Though I did spend a lot of time admiring Dawn, I still focused on the others too. They could be in great danger. And we would be here, dancing happily. I was also restless, but I also wanted to remember this night, not only as something bad.

I took Dawn's right cheek in the palm of my hand and moved my face closer to hers. A blush appeared on her face, just before I closed my eyes and pressed my lips against hers. First it was a gentle kiss, soon it felt like our lives depended on this kiss. Time went by, lots of time. Nothing happened here. I couldn't contact the rest, and I didn't know if we should ask officer Jenny to help them. So we didn't.

And that was when we heard a loud bang. And we got blown away. I had my arms wrapped around Dawn, protecting her. I hit the wall with my back, my arms tight around Dawn's waist, keeping her from hitting the wall. I fell down to the ground, hard. And I hit my head on something, probably a table. And that was the last thing I heard, felt, thought. Unconsciousness came to me. Faster than I wanted it to.

( Dawn's POV )

Paul had wrapped his arms around me, protecting me from anything. Now he lay on the ground, not moving an inch. I stood up, a little clumsily, and ran to Paul. "Paul, wake up!"I yelled, and I shook him. But he didn't move. His lip wasn't the only thing bleeding. I laid my head on his chest, but didn't hear any heartbeat.

"Are you alright?"someone asked. I turned around. Officer Jenny gave me a concerned look. She was bruised all over. Burns, scratches, and her officers hat was gone.

"I'm fine, but Paul..."I began, looking at him. Officer Jenny knelt down before Paul, checking his pulse. I tensed up a bit. From above I could see better how hurt Paul was. He was filthy, bleeding at some places, and his leg seemed to be in a weird position. Officer Jenny let go of Paul's pulse, looking at me.

"He's alive, but barely."she said sadly. Then she yelled, "Joy!" Nurse Joy came running towards us. Her uniform was fried, and now it had an ugly brownish color. Her hair was shorter, a large part of it had burned away. But she still knelt down next to officer Jenny, checking how Paul was doing. All his injuries. I looked around this place. There were lots of wounded people, dead people, and only few that seemed to be fine.

"His left leg is broken, and his ribs aren't in their best condition either."nurse Joy declared. "Not to mention his head is doing worst of all. He's unconscious, for now. But we need to get him there, and fast." Someone came towards us, running to me. That person hugged me.

"Thank Arceus you're alright!"Kenny exclaimed. I nodded, but could only look at Paul. When Kenny saw Paul his eyes widened. "Is he..."

"He's not dead."I answered the question written on Kenny's face. He sighed out of relief.

"I'll bring him to the hospital."Kenny said to me. "Don't worry. As long as you go and get to safety." I nodded, but I wouldn't get to safety. Kenny ran away with Paul over his shoulder. I was worried sick, but worrying wouldn't help Paul. So I ran up to officer Jenny, and learned that I couldn't run. My ankle appeared to be strained.

"Girl!"officer Jenny shouted, and she helped me.

"Officer, I know where the person is responsible for this."I said, walking crippled. Officer Jenny frowned. "That person is in the Vien Forest at the moment, together with my friends. We have to help them." Officer Jenny helped me walk to her motor.

"Get on!"she yelled, and I did as she told me to. We rode on the motor to the Vien Forest. In the meantime I answered all officer Jenny's questions. At least, as far as I could. We were fast, but we might not be fast enough. And my worries for Paul weren't helping me to concentrate. If a bomb had gone off that might mean the killer had found out Misty hadn't come alone. We came screeching to a halt.

"Hands in the air!"officer Jenny shouted as she directed her gun to the first person she saw, Misty. Then she turned it to Gary, who lay on the ground, crippling in pain. Drew had stood up, his hands in the air. Behind him I saw May, on the ground with Drew's shirt as a bandage.

"May!"I yelled, and I ran to her. Which took more time than I had wanted it to. My ankle screamed out of pain, but I got to May, falling down beside her.

"Who's responsible for all this?!"officer Jenny asked loudly. I looked at the rest. They all looked at a black haired girl, laying on the ground. Both her leg and her shoulder were bleeding. Officer Jenny walked to her, turning her around to see her face. A beautiful face, even with the huge scar on it. But I realized who it was, scar or no scar. I could never forget Sky's face.

A gunshot could be heard perfectly. It was loud compared to the quiet forest. Only officer Jenny and that gunshot could be heard from here. I looked at where the sound came from. A bullet flew through the air, faster than any human being could dodge. And it was aimed at Misty. She was almost as filthy as Paul had been. The bullet nearly hit her, but it only touched her leg, making a small cut. Blood had painted her clothes in a dark red color, and now some dripped from her leg onto the ground. Her hair was messier than mine. And my complicated bun was pretty damn messy.

I wanted to scream her name, but there was only a muffled cry. Officer Jenny aimed her gun to where the shot had been.

"Come out!"she screamed. No response. I looked at Sky, who lay unconscious on the ground. No, the person who had shot that shot, was the man cooperating with Sky. Her partner.

"Coward!"I shouted. "Show yourself, and fight! You're supposed to be so strong, aren't you?! Come out, and fight me!" Officer Jenny gave me a warning look, but I just stood up. My pretty dress, ripped apart. My hair in a messy half-bun. My ankle, damaged too much. In a way I looked more dead than alive, but I pretended it didn't matter. "Show yourself!"

No response. Of course. That coward didn't even know what to do when he was in this situation. We were with four, not counting the ones lying on the ground. He was on his own. Then we heard something from a tree further away. It didn't seem like that man was having it easy. Officer Jenny, Drew and I ran to where the sounds came from. I ignored the pain in my ankle while running. And there he was, already fighting. And he was winning.

Hahaha! I suck at action chapters!

If you have any idea on how to improve my action chapters, I'm open for suggestions! Same goes for any spelling/grammar mistakes. Or just any mistakes in general. Yeah...

I wanted to update, 'cause I haven't done that in a long time, but I don't have time, so sorry for spelling errors. I will fix that in the morning.
