He quickly wipes his tears n rush to Pragya's house as that was nearby, but he was shocked to see her bungalow was set on fire, when he asked passerby n they told, due to heavy rains tree fell n house caught fire, he felt even god is not with him today, he then left to his house n packed some stuff, it was night by the time he came back at police station, he gave whole bag full of Pragya stuff to them, n ask them to do tests, he had faith in his love
Police informed he will get reports next day, this one night was like century for him, he cancels his concert in last minute n he went back again to meet Purab at hospital
"Nurse is there any improvement in his condition???"
"Sir, dr aaliya will come in few minutes, she can only tell "
He waited, waiting was only thing he can do for now, but as time passes he became impatient, n he grabs Purab," wake up, you can't keep me waiting like this, you have to wake up n tell me what exactly happened?? You can't just lay down like this, you are my best friend n you have to be with me to find my love my Pragya "
Suddenly he moved little, he responded to his touch, Abhi quickly goes n drags aaliya, " check him, he just moved, tell him it's enough, now he has to give all the answers??"
"Relax n clam down, you are hurting him, please control your emotions, we are doing everything that we can do ok"
Aaliya checks him n gives injection, after sometime He slowly opened his eyes, try to say something, AAAA...." N he again gets unconscious
"Purab you ca...."
"Please Abhi, don't stress him, everything is fine, he is responding to our treatment so please have patience"
He holds his hands n sits beside him," sorry I'm being so mean,"
"Listen I have to go now, will update you with Purab condition ok, don't worry go home"
"Ok" he looks at Purab n goes home,
He was restless all night,he was praying to god, that Pragya should be alive n that body be someone else, all memories started flashing in, right from first time he saw her at club to last time he pulled her leg,"Pragya you are my first n last love, pls forgive me, I was just teasing you, that was also my first time," he kept on blabbering something or other,
Next day, Abhi got up early, he hardly slept
He was getting ready to go to police station just then Tanu came running, "just got call from hospital, Purab came to senses, he is out of coma, you go fast!!"
"Wow that's great new, I will reach in no time, thanks" he rushes to go to hospital but his bed luck, though he was out of coma, but still was very weak to communicate, his eyes were closed, n was shifted to regular room from ICU
Abhi waited for almost 2 hours but he still was in same condition, he informed nurse that he is going to police station, n if anything comes up, then contact him directly, n he goes
The moment he reached police station he got shivers, he felt as if he skip heart beat n asked about reports
"Have reports came???"
"I'm sorry to say Mr Abhi, DNA reports are matching with body, it is Pragya's body"
Everything came to standstill for Abhi n he shouted on top of his voice
"Prrraaaaggyyaaaaa"
He fell down on his feet, n cried his heart out, this time he didn't argue n accepted truth, he had nothing to argue, he took her stuff n reports n started walking to home, He cursed himself, he again started thinking why he teased her?? Why he let her go??? He didn't even get to do last rituals, as there was hardly any body left, with heavy heart he entered home, Sits on couch like lifeless person, Dadi comes n sits beside him ask,"what happened  beta???"
"Dadi daaadi, she left us, she left us forever
She is dead!!!" Hugging her he again started crying, Dadi pat him n hugged n she comfort him, she didn't cry, that night he slept on her lap like kid, he did when he lost his parents,Tanu saw all this from kitchen, she herself was so shocked n unable to control her emotions, she quietly went from there without informing them, she didn't wanted crying in front of Abhi
Next day, before Dadi woke up, he had accepted reality n already left to hospital to meet Purab, he had composed himself n decided he will live for his Dadi, his best friends Purab n Tanu, had decided he will not tell Purab about Pragya's death, he didn't wanted to stress him, he controlled himself
"Hey how are you feeling now, I know you won't answer this but still, I want you to know I'm here for you" he hold his hand n remain sited right next to Purab for hours, by end of day he was broke again, he started thinking about memories of Pragya, his love for her, his guilt, Purab n everything was occupied in his mind n to get himself little space he started drinking, after 3-4 glass he forgot number of glasses he had, he was totally sloshed out, not in his senses, he reached home around 2am, Dadi was asleep n robin open door, Abhi straight went to his room
