Inkpaw's Return and Ceremony

Night trotted into flap, He took few bites of slop and ripped off his collar with his teeth, and tossing at side of river. It would look like he drowned. Night looked around and slid through the flap into forest, He remembered these very scents, when he first arrived. Night found stale scent of Sandpaw and pursed it, climbed over round rock and brushed past through tunnel of brambles.

He darted through bush of blueberries, blue dots bounced off , onto the ground. Night squashed  few, licking off blue stained paws and ventured onward, Fresh scent of his mother hit his nose as he prickled with joy. Just then weight knocked him and pressed against him. " Stop! It's me, I-Inkpaw!" Inkpaw mewed, saying his former name. " Inkpaw?" Tom spoke, swooped up and more scents of cat hit him. " No... Inkpaw, Your alive!!" Shadowglow bounded to him, licking his fur and cheek.

Inkpaw dropped on his paws, looking at the cat who carried him. It was Troutfoot, Inkpaw wagged his tail. " I am home, I am back." Inkpaw purred, nuzzled his parents. " Mother? Who's is that?" It was Sandpaw, who quickly came over and hid behind Troutfoot. " He's your brother, I thought lost him and he died." Sandpaw peeked her head out, " Umm... Hi" She stammered, pulling her head in. Ripplepaw and Echopaw trotted, eyes widen as they spotted a stranger in their camp. " Who are you!" Echopaw hissed threateningly, Ripplepaw froze. " Oh kits! He's is your bigger brother." Echopaw hid her teeth. " Your Inkpaw? Mother told us so much about you!!" Echopaw's tone changed to happiness.

Inkpaw gobbled up some mouse, " Wow, Man It's been long since I had fresh kill!" " What do you mean?" Ripplepaw asked. " Oh... A twoleg trapped me and forced me too eat that slop!" Inkpaw lied, not admitting he liked the life as kittypet for while. " Let all cats old enough to gather here for a clan meeting!! " Hawkstar called, cats looked up. " Inkpaw, one of enemy clan's missing apprentices has returned, We shall make him a warrior. We need as much as cats we can get." Yowls of mixed agreement and disagreement rippled out, " Inkpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code, even at cost of your life!?" " I do" responsed Inkpaw. " You will be known as Inkwolf! We honor your return and courage!" Hawkstar yowled echoed. 

" Inkwolf! Inkwolf!" Clan echoed, few with uncertainly. Inkwolf stood proud, his fur puffed out. Echopaw padded at her mentor's side, with fully healed paw. Stormhawk fixed gaze on Inkwolf before leaving. Eaglepaw snarled at Inkwolf " Stay away from Sandpaw!" He growled, " Eaglepaw! Don't do that!" Sandpaw mewed, padded over. She slapped his cheek with a paw. " Oww!!!" Eaglepaw whined. The two apprentices argued. 

Ripplepaw gave him a good sniff, " Your strange scent will wear off soon, I hope very soon!" Ripplepaw twitched his nose in disgust. Swiftwing scolded him for rudeness, then dragged him back to the den. Inkwolf walked off, as white cat bumped into him. " Oops! Sorry, Oh I am Cloudpaw by the way." Meowed Cloudpaw, she smiled at him.

Brightstar's entertainment

Brightstar prowled through the den,  Poppyshine and her patrol returned. A rogue and her kits followed. " Who are you?" Growled Brightstar. " M-my name is Lillie and these are my kits, Willow and Minnow and Grape." She gulped, a dead body dragged into camp. Poppyshine stepped up. " This rogue killed Flamewhisker." Brightstar narrowed her eyes. " How dare you! Flamestripe and Moonfire hold Lillie down. " The two warriors pinned the she cat, Moonfire whispered " You killed the cat who saved me when I almost met death, you killed my father!"

Brightstar pressed her paw on Willow, slowly slicing Willow's back.  Willow screamed in agony as Brightstar smirked, Lillie gasped and watched in horror. Brightstar clenched her teeth and snapped Willow's neck. Little sliver kit fell limp, Moonfire left, she trotted over to Grape, She bit his neck and flung him at a tree. Brightstar came over to Lillie, She sliced her face and then slashed her claws at her flank, Lillie whimpered " I am sorry..I beg you..S-stop!" Lillie managed to get up, blood dripping from her mouth and wounds. One of Lillie's eye were closed as she whipped up Minnow and ran. " Moonfire, Flamestripe and Bramblefall after her!!" Brightstar demanded.

The three warriors chased her until they reached a wide gorge, Lillie leapt but Moonfire gripped her hind leg , yanking the she cat. Leaving Lillie hanging over edge, Bramblefall pulled her up, snatched Minnow away from her and then Moonfire shoved her over the gorge, She shrieked in terror. Clouds started to gather, becoming gray and white, A cardinal cried out, snow started to slowly fall, Moonfire and others went up the slope and pushed through a log into forest back to camp.

AN: I was sick for like two days and barely had energy to be on wattpad But I was anyhoo enjoy! Final battle soon!
